Back again , now 8 of us. The kids had their laksa grilled bbq w rice the fish balls in broth . We had a bbq platter laksa , pata tim, yang chow .
The laksa is perfect hot , not too mild and not too spicy , just the right kick . 127775127775127775127775127775
The pork and angus bbq perfect as usual plus the shrimp and squid. 127775127775127775127775
The pata tim cooked well with a sauce to crave for .

So it was our first time to try eating here . We were actually planning to eat at Brique , but for some reason they were closed . So we looked around, choosing between Planet Grapes and Ulli's ,which would be our first time for either.
We settled for Ulli's as Planet looked too dark (literally) while Ulli's had nice furniture and was well lighted.
We were served a small bowl of boiled peanuts to whet our appetites after we ordered . Hmm not soggy... Firm and tasty and the boiled peanuts were served wet with a thin sauce/soup? We started picking these nuts with chopsticks . It was good that after finishing off our dinner , L went back and picked off a fee more nuts while we were waiting for our bill.
J and I shared a fishballs in red curry 5* plump juicy fishballs on a curry sauce, comfort food with a twist . Masarap.
Then we had the barbecue platter 5* which we decided could be shared by 3 or 2 hungry hippos.
3 sticks each of chicken, pork, squid and shrimp barbecues , a total of 12 sticks .. but each type with its own distinct flavor .
The squid variety (lumayagan) was tender , the pork and chicken too.. The shrimp was plump and juicy .
We were FULL.
We just had 1 cup of plain rice to share and we couldn't finish it .
Their house Ulli's iced tea was also refreshing and not too sweet.
Overall an excellent meal and a great place to eat and to have a conversation .
Will try the other stuff next time.

Oh and the servers were alert , professional and definitely an asset to Ulli's . Our questions were answered knowledgeably and service was quick and friendly . Ty for helping make our dinner a happy time .

Just came from the gym. I guess it is kinda ok to eat EAT (translate: rice!) was looking around Ayala, and came across Ulli's streets of Asia and saw a curious item: their Angur Tori (Yakitori). Gave it a shot: 3 sticks of Angus beef grilled with leeks and a yakitori suace in top of some nori rice. For P175, petty good. Serving was generous, meet was cooked jist right. I tried NOT to finish the rice, but yeah, it was unavoidably good.

Dessert. I was thinking of grabbing dessert elsewhere. Then again, it was too hot out that I decided to ask for their menu again and see if they had any desserts. Fruits in yoghurt! Perfect for the healthy-healthian! :-) and for P125 - pretty good :-) yoghurt was soft and great, fruits were fresh and there was an interesting mix from bananas to green apples, grapes, mango and watermelon (do you feel summer?) I think I want to make my own at home, too.

P100 - P300
Ambience: Asian food court - industrial

Hawker food is definitely what I miss most about Singapore! Thank God we have Ulli's Street of Asia in Cebu to satisfy our cravings. It's been our favorite since it opened.

Last month, my youngest brother got admitted to the hospital because of his asthma. His first request after he was discharged from the hospital was to eat at Ulli's. :)

We ordered the usual favorites: BBQ Platter, Toriniku, Ebi Tori and Laksa. Marina Mixer and Sentosa Cooler as our refreshments and some Yoghurt for dessert.

They've got some peanuts dipped in a sauce or oil as a free appetizer while waiting. My toddler loves it so much! I love the fact that they their meals are accompanied by Nori rice

Laksa tasted good! . It makes every bite a happy dance on your taste buds. Trust me, it’s just that good. ;)

The coolers were super healthy! It has no sugar and tasted really fresh. A blended mix of all kinds of fruits served in a cute glass.

Their menu is reasonably priced. I highly recommend it to anyone who craves for Authentic Singaporean Hawker food. ;)

A bit pricey but totally worth it. Even though your budget starts somewhere at 300, the dishes were oozing with flavor. I had Angus tori and it was tasty, juicy and completely satisfying. It's an Asian fusion restaurant so you get to choose (although not all) famous dishes from around the continent. In every restaurant, I also check their restrooms and it was clean so good job (plus points to the HUGE wall mirror on one side when you enter haha loove it)! This is the second time I dined in by the way and still love it. The place is still small and although the seating is arranged well, I wasn't feeling comfortable with it (being an averaged sized Pinoy that I am).

I am not really a fan of their food but I must say they have my attention when it comes to their chilled taho. A bit expensive for a taho because a cup costs at P65 but it's really sweet, rich and creamy with portions of tapioca.

They say that this is a place where every meal transports you to different places in Asia. Hmmm...

A new addition to the uberly expanded and already large Laguna Garden restaurant chains, this restaurant offers a variety of Asian food.

I've tried their Szechuan Beef and it was so-so. Though Emperor's Bowl won my vote in taste.

I'm not a fan of their service or perhaps I needed to visit them on a regular basis to appreciate them.

A bit pricey for food and service that is not exceptional.

A fresh concept from the Cafe Laguna group, this restaurant takes you around the tasty streets of Asia :) I've been here twice and I was satisfied in every visit! I would recommend the hot pot and the yakitori- especially the butabara (THICK BACON BBQ!).

This place is a good rest from Cebu lechon haha. Service is fast and fuss-free. Lastly, try one of their signature juice blends with your meal and you won't feel as guilty for devouring those bacon strips! :)
