Whenever we can't decide whether we like to eat chicken, beef, pork or fish we always end up choosing Uncle cheffy's Surf 'n turf! Plus their special salad with crispy pork (talking about panggap diet) haha !! 128069

Eating at Uncle Cheffy is always a joy! First time at this branch so I was kinda excited. The ambiance has this earthy feel with its brick walls and wooden furnitures. We ordered Pasta Marinara and Uncle Cheffy Favorites brick oven panizza. The serving size is good for 2-3 persons. But because we're so famish, it was only enough for two..hehe. 128523

The pasta was cooked al dente and the marinara sauce had just the right amount of flavor from the tomatoes and other herbs. The shrimps and mussels were soft and seasoned well too. We really liked the over all taste. I could probably finish the whole serving if we didn't order the panizza.

I loved thin crust pizzas, so their panizza is already a winner for me. But the one we ordered is not my favorite (sorry uncle cheffy, I know it's your favorite..128514). Although the panizza is light for the tummy since it doesn't have meat toppings, I find it quite bland so I had to pour a bit of hot sauce on it. Still we're happy and satisfied with our eating experience here. Will definitely go back!

Ribs are as anemic as the plot of your average Call of Duty game. Do yourself a favor and go to Tony Roma's for some real ribs.

I tried their All Meat Barbecued Pizza and it was good. It has beef teriyaki, pork, and chicken barbecue rolled into one brick-oven baked panizza. 128077 though nothing so special about their pasta...

Festive dinner at Uncle Cheffy's Wooohooo.! All meat platter is heavenly. Everything is just ooohhh sooo yummy..128523128523. Soft, juicy and perfectly cooked meat. Our platter consists of lamb, ribs, potatoes and chicken. Good for sharing, 4-5persons. I love how they presented their food. And the ambiance is great, good for barkada night out9786

We always have the Memphis Ribs here, but this visit, we were extremely hungry as we only had brunch around 1030am and it was 5pm already.

They have added menu from Kusé and their other restos so they offer pinoy food as well.

We had Bulalo, garlic studded roasted pork (aka lechon), uncle cheffy's salad, baby mussels, plapla, chicken and of course the memphis ribs

Everything was good, although the bulalo was a little too salty. The pork was the obvious favorite.

I just posted my review about the Venice Piazza branch and I realized I've said enough about the Eastwood branch in that to warrant its own review, so here it is.

The Eastwood Mall branch is the first Uncle Cheffy's I tried. I was looking forward to it since I've read some raves about their pizzas. Their pizza was crunchy, cheesy, with that brick-oven-cooked taste, it didn't disappoint, unlike everything else...

Even though there were still a lot of empty seats at the al fresco area, we waited for a long time for service and even longer for our food. It took at least an hour for us to eat and in the meantime we had impatient kids. We were on the brink of cancelling our order and transferring somewhere else. Good thing we found some relatives also eating inside so the chitchat sustained our patience.

Honestly, aside from the pizza, that's all I can remember about this branch even though we ordered A LOT. Maybe because we came in at lunch hour on a Sunday and we were a huge group then, but hey free seating means you should still be able to accomodate guests, right?

To be fair, this is an overly delayed review since this experience was from about 1.5 years ago. I haven't been back in this branch yet and I believe they're still in operation, so I guess they have improved by now.

To Uncle Cheffy's Management: Sorry for the bad review but at least you got both good and bad feedback from me, albeit for different branches. You know the saying, better a customer that complains rather than one who does not but bad mouths you to their friends. At least by complaining, the problem was brought to your attention then you have the opportunity to correct it and salvage (save) the customer experience.

Whenever my family and I go here we automatically order the uncle cheffy's pizza. It's topped with mushroom, anchovies and olives and comes with a side of greens, salsa and alfalfa; so you can roll it up and devour it burrito style. Messy but delicious! (The barbeque pizza is also recommendable, very tasty meat!)

You should also try their grilled oysters, it's topped with green mangoes and a bit of ginger that gives the dish a zesty taste to fight the natural "fishy" flavor of the oysters. Their potato salad ( not in photo) is also delicious, perfectly cooked and seasoned for the Filipino palette. Finally, the memphis barbeque, very tender but lacked a bit of seasoning and barbeque sauce.
