Let's start our Italian food adventure now!
I liked their fried chicken and roasted chicken, not dry compared to others and it was so tender and scrumptious!

What is Uncle Cheffy without their famous panizza, right? Baked in a traditional charcoal brick oven. We had Uncle Cheffy Favorite, P139. Over dried tomatoes, mushroom, garlic, anchovy, chili flakes, basil and three cheese are the ingredients of panizza. It comes with salsa and alfalfa. Just spread some salsa or alfalfa and roll it! While rolling the panizza, you can also sing“And we’re rolling, rolling Rolling on the river” by Tina turner. Okay. Forgive me for this joke!

They also served us some desserts! Cheffy Cheesecake, P150. What’s good about their cheesecake was that there’s no “umay factor” compared to other cheesecakes.

Italian Leche Flan, P130. I liked it a lot because the leche flan was not that sweet. It’s perfect! They called it Italian Leche flan because the egg that they used came from Italy. That’s what the Marketing Manager of Uncle Cheffy said when I asked him why they called it Italian Leche flan. Haha.

Location: Ground Level, The Venice Piazza McKinley Hill, Campus Avenue, Fort Bonifacio Taguig

It's my first time to try them, so I asked the food server what's the best seller he said it's the garlic stuff pork belly so I ordered..an I also asked for the pumpkin soup , at first I was shock to see how they served it, as the saying goes "we eat with our eyes" that soup will never pass judging by its appearance...128514128514128514 it looked so sad but to my surprise it tasted so good.. 128514 not to self; don't judge food by its appearance.. 128513128513128513

The garlic stuffed pork belly was more like lechon to me... It has a puréed liver etc as a dip .. diced tomatoes with vinegar and marbled potato on the side...And it's delish.. ( aside from the boar-ish smell ). 128513128513128513128513 it doesn't come with rice so you have to order separate...

Oh by the way when you order prawn and pomelo salad don't be surprise to see just 1 prawn in it. 128541128541128541 but the dressing was good..

Service was fast and the staffs are accommodating... I will comeback to try their cracking pork next time. 128540128540128540

Ever wondered what the aftermath of an extended meeting would be for three hungry analysts? One word my friend - gluttony!

Uncle Cheffy's Unlimited Chicken and Pork Cracklings is just as sinful as how it sounds. Initially, we were served with a plate of roasted and fried chicken, pork cracklings (lechon kawali) and a cup of rice (this you have to pay separately). Personal favorite would have to be the roasted chicken which was cooked and seasoned to perfection! Nothing against the the other two that I hailed them the trifecta of diet destruction! Sad I am only as good as a single plate refill :(

We were also intrigued with their bacon sinigang sa sampalok. It was really kilig-asim good and was generously served. The disappointing part? No signs of salted and smoked meat strips in the pot. As to why it was called bacon sinigang? I am not really sure.

Tried out this promo. And it was just okay for me. If you're one hungry fella who's into fried chicken, roast chicken and pork cracklings, then this is for you! As for me, well, I did like the fries chicken. It was good without any sauce. The roast chicken was okay. The cracklings were a little tough. But for the price, I'd say this is pretty sulit. 128077

Doing some backlogs today because I've been busy lately. 128542 Here is a last week's lunch out with officemates and ofcourse care of our trainer. 128513

Ordered the usual group meal good for four. We had the all meat because we like that over the fish and meat group meal. This is an all time favorite because of the barbecue sauce that's perfect for the ribs and even for the other meat. 128513 The potatoes were perfect that time too. Very seasoned well. All in all was still a nice experience.

Had lunch with my officemates here last week coz its payday 128516 disappointed with everything though.

Staffs are not friendly and attentive. I was actually annoyed with one of the staff, coz when he served our ice tea, binagsak nya sa table ung pitcher. And, kinuha na nya ung 2 plates even after seeing na may laman pa. He should have asked us first right? Kaines. 128078 service is slow too, we waited sooo long before our orders arrive, although there are only two other customers aside from us.

Foods are not that great, and they are expensive (at least for me128517)
The seafood lover panizza is pricey considering the size and the taste. I cant believe we paid for 800+ just for a super thin crust panizza which lacks flavor and toppings. The pasta taste ok. We also had fish and chips, but the fish is tooooo salty! Ang alat as in! What else, hmmm... Meat in the ribs are tender enough but bland, and i dont like the sauce that comes with it. I was dreaming of Racks the whole time. 128557

Tried their panizza and it was okay. Very thin and good especially when it's still warm! 128513 But will still go for Yellow Cab's Dear Darla. 1285279996

The Venice Piazza branch is the second Uncle Cheffy's I've tried; the other one was in Eastwood Mall. So far the taste of their pizza is consistent: crunchy, cheesy, with that brick-oven cooked taste.

I forgot what the family ordered last time in Eastwood, but here in Piazza, my friends and I ordered the Larry's Craving pizza (smoked salmon, escargot, shiitake mushroom, chili flakes, onion and 3 cheese at P250 for the medium size) and the Surf and Turf (combo of grilled chicken, lamb breast, beef and pork ribs, cream dory, salmon, tuna belly and garoupa, served with rice at P1,750, pictured above). Both came with a small serving of veggie salad and the surf and turf also came with baby potatoes and different dips and sauces - mayo garlic, bbq/steak sauce, pesto etc.

The surf and turf alone was good for four people and we were just three. Despite the savory taste of the meats, and our hunger and appetite for free food (it was a celebratory treat by one of my friends), we were only able to finish the pizza and had the rest of the surf and turf and rice for take out.

Service was fast: even though we ate al fresco the food servers were easy to call, our water glasses were constantly refilled. Also since it was a workday, the place was not crowded even if it was dinner time. It was a great place for celebrations, you will definitely feel special.

I can't say the same about the Eastwood branch though. But anyway, I wrote a separate review for my experience there so as not to confuse readers who are checking out the Venice Piazza branch.

Whenever I'm stressed, I always go on a food binge.. And this might be a series of reviews, just to destress and well, indulge in good food!128517

I caught up with my old teammates for a quick dinner - and ordered an All-Meat Barbecued: Beef Teriyaki, Pork and Chicken BBQ Panizza.

I almost consumed it by myself! 128061
The panizza was good especially it was still warm when served. With arugula, tomatoes and alfalfa (just like Yellow Cab's Dear Denise.. I mean Dear Darla), I enjoyed it so much!

Yummy! 128523

Walking to Venice Piazza and just trying to decide what resto to try brought me to a sudden halt when I saw bellychon from Uncle Cheffy's. I asked the waitress if they have it and she said yes so let's give it a try. Verdict time, not something to die for and scream halleluja, it was ok the sauce is good the skin a little bit hard and some parts are not that crunchy but tried their brick pizza and not that impressed. I like yellow cab better minus the oil so far the question is will i come back? The answer is yes let's give them a second chance.

It's payday! Meaning its magastos day! 128184128184128184

I had lunch out with my officemates and our former trainer suggested that we eat at Uncle Cheffy. Some of us are first timers. We thought that we're going to burn wallets. 128514 But after the meal, we're surprised that the bill was reasonable. 128513 Okay! I got so excited telling you about the prices, I'll tell you about the food!

We had group platters. The All meat including ribs, pork, chicken bbq and others. The other platter was Surf and Turf. The first thing I picked was the salmon because that's my favorite. 128513 It also includes dory, ribs, chicken and others. The platters also comes with different sauces.

We also ordered their famous oven bricked pizza where you have to roll them and add some greens and tomatoes. I love it!! 127829127829127829

The service was great. We didn't have to wait for 5mins. And water are always full, waitresses are very attentive. 128513 All in all was a good dining experience.

Been to 2 Uncle Cheffy branches 2x already (this and Robinsons Magnolia) but for some reason, all their cooks have this idea of cooking in the same style: kinda like just putting their food in the microwave. The baby back ribs and rib eye that we ordered were dry probably can be used to hurt people by throwing it at them. The pasta that our friends ordered tasty... like something out of this world (NOT IN A GOOS WAY) and their famous brick open pizza taste as flat and thin as their pizza itself. None of the dishes came out good. I'm just giving it 2 stars because of te staff but that's it. Food is absolutely just 1 11088️ Don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon...
