So i mentioned a while ago that uncle mo's is kind enoigh to accomodate us even though we'll be bringing in stuff from señor pollo. Well, we dod order a lot of stuff here and i can say, was ok too.
128204moussaka
Small serving, well, ot's an appetizer. It does taste like lasagna.
128204Montabal
It's a finely mashed egglplant. With thin pita bread on the sides.
128204Beef manakesh
The beef were tender but was too salty. This manakesh is fried and so oily. It has white cheese that added the saltiness. Then the green sauce.. Guess what, it's salty too! >_<

But the creamy garlic sauce was really helpful that i made it soup of rhe meal... Wahaha.
The hot sauce, i did not bother to taste cause it was super spicy hot!

The place was dark. Red and black its theme. Steel and plastic Canteen tables. Common CR outside.

The taste was good but the portions were too small for the price. I like their spicy sauce though, gives off a nice slow burn in the mouth. 128549

Tried their version of keema with buttered rice and I liked it! Strong contender for the top spot in my list, but I really love Mister Kebab's keema... May kasamang nostalgia!128525

Bf got the kebab platter, which was great and sakto for a guy's appetite...

It's a bit gloomy inside the resto! But the server moved pretty fast even if he was alone... He knew the menu inside out and I liked that! Dakila levels si kuya with the rowdy group of college kids all trying to ask questions and order! 128514 kakatuwa128513

Got their Keema, which was basically sauteed ground beef with diced onions, seasoned, and served with their pita bread. Nothing too wow about it.

The place was quite dark and the service was meh. Good thing they don't charge for it, or else I would throw a fit. 128514 this place seems to be for those planning a drinking session. not too friendly for get-togethers for kwentuhan.

i wanted to eat at señor polo but the bf likes it here so i gave in.

place was not packed at 3pm last saturday. there was just a family eating and then us.

we got the kofta balls and chicken kebab. the bf of course liked the kofta balls. it was served piping hot with gooey cheese inside. the tomatoes countered the beefy umay taste. the bf also liked the kebab. it was just okay for me.

service was fast. place was clean.

the kofta balls does not really look good in the picture but try it. it's yummy.

So I bought a box of lava cake from Purple Oven F7 for our noche buena dessert and saw this restaurant beside Seafood Shack. Haven't tried that one yet and I remember Camille R recommending it to me since we are also persian food lovers.

So I invited Kim to eat lunch there while waiting for Tatay to pick me up. I ordered the Kofta Balls and Kim had their Chicken Kebab. Saw Cyrene C's review about it too. Truly, the place has good ambiance, relaxing music and is not too crowded.

Orders came and Persian goodness was delivered! Loved the very delicious chicken kebabs. Chicken and meatballs were very tender. Kofta balls are meatballs flooded with tomato sauce but really good when mixed with their signature sauce. Their sauce is very different from Mister Kabab's or Behrouz's yogurt-like white sauce but it definitely tasted great! It has ground sesame seeds, not too sour but is really good when mixed with their dish.

This is another good find near my place. I wil definitely go back here to try their Shawarma!

Good food, good service, the place is clean, friendly staff, relaxing music aaand not too crowded.

I say this the place to go when you're craving for shawarma! And what's awesome is if you want something sweet after, just go to Purple Oven which is just few steps away from Uncle Moe's!

Enjoy! 10084

The best chicken kebab I've had after the pricey and yummy ones of Hossein! And it's only priced at php100+

After my favorite Shomal, Uncle Moe's is the next best thing!

If compared to Mister Kebab and Behrouz, the serving here isn't as generous as the two. Also, it's pricier here BUT the taste is so worth it!

I would highly recommend the kebab platter, kofta balls and ox brain. Their chicken kebab tastes like curry and it's so good!

I love their sauces and the rice too! Busog Lusog!

Their interior was simple but makes a statement. Their food are pricey but it was filling so I think it is worth it. The sauce was amazing! Makes you crave for more, good thing we have the power to squeeze the bottle of that sauce as much as we desire :)

The location is not good though because they are hidden from the "plaza" of tomas.

When craving for some kababs and Middle Eastern food, Uncle Moe's is the place to go!

Kofta Balls for the win! This dish is one dish I'd crave for once in a while and I'd come back for more. 128077

Moussaka melt was amazing. Kofta balls were good. The me and boyfriend loved the ox brain!! 128077128079

Ox brain was a bit pricey coz it did cost 140pesos that small amt of brain. Kofta balls were 210pesos here. Is it because this branch is located in f7? Haha.

Will visit the maginhawa branch next. 128077128077

This venue is really nice since it's still kinda new. I dig the beef shawarma bowl which is priced 125 pesos and just put some of their sauce on it. They have friendly staff too.

Dinner last night with my bf...

We decided on Uncle Moe's Shawarma, just to have a quick meal...

Got the chicken shawarma while bf got the all beef shawarma... Both were just okay...

Service was blah! Ortigas and BF branches were better...

A bit overpriced for their small servings. Shawarma rice was too salty.
Kabab Korner is still on top of my list.
