It will never be complete for me if I hadn't get the chance to see every rock formation a place I visited has to offer.

Mongpong Island! 128522

It's our 1st attraction to visit on our 2nd day in Marinduque. We went here after lunch. It took us about an hour to get here from Maniwaya Island.

I finally get to see the famous Ungab Rock Formation! 128512 I first learned about this place because of a looloo review. I told myself, "Gosh, I have to see it, too." And I did! 128522

The water's so clear and green! 128525 I went swimming for a bit under the rock formation itself, but damn, the water's really cold so I went back to the shore after 10 minutes. 128513

This should be on your list if you visit Marinduque! 128522128077128525

Mongpong Island is famous for its beautiful overarching bridge rock formation called Ungab which towers about 100 feet above the water.

From Maniwaya, the Ungab rock formation in Mongpong Island is definitely another site worth visiting.

One of the must-visit places in Marinduque is the Mongpong Island where Ungab Rock Formation is! This is about 30-45 minutes boat ride from Maniwaya Island where tourists would usually stay for overnight.

The "imperfect triangle" shape makes this place unique for me. The place is very clean and can be considered as a virgin island. 127796
