I brought Universal's mocha mamon for my son's food to share at school. I personally like their mamon specially the original flavor for only P18 you get the soft, fluffy topped with cheese mamon. Their mamon flavors serves alternately, that day mocha is the only available and it's fairly good128076🏻 I also bought the ensaymada bacon (shown on the photo 9757🏻️) which some of my friends was raving, well it's good too and it only costs p23 sulit! 128523 They have 2 branches here in Laguna one in San Pedro and another one at Pacita.

You're not from San Pedro or Binan if you haven't heard of this bakery. What's so special about this place? They sell mamon, pinagong, tasty bread etc at very affordable prices. Best of all they bake 'em fresh everyday. They also have toasted mamon and hopia that only costs less than P20 if i'm not mistaken. Their place in Pacita Complex is airconditioned too. Situated behind the Worthy transport terminal.Try their Pinagong, it goes well with peanut butter or just dip it in your coffee. :)

Their special mocha mamon is my faaaaave mamon! The original mamon also tastes good (my brother prefers the original flavor) but I really prefer mocha.

I gave my officemates this mamon before and some of them asked me to buy a dozen for them lol. So I think they liked it too. The other one even brought it to Korea during his business trip. Haha!

They bake FRESH everyday; and If I remember it right, they only bake the mocha variety every Tuesday and Thursday (and gets sold out easily).

I haven't tried their ensaymadas yet but I heard it's yummy too! My friend from Binan even goes to this branch to have his ensaymada fix. Haha!

Oh, another good thing about this bakery - the price of their breads are very affordable. If I'm not mistaken the price of the mamon is less than 20PhP!

Universal Bakery is known for it's Ensaymada with bacon and their mamon. 128077 Compared to other popular Ensaymadas sold in the malls, I can honestly say Universal's is so much better.

If you live in the San Pedro/Biñan area, I'm sure you've heard of this bakery along the national road. They sell delicious mamons and ensaymadas that are freshly made everyday!
My favorite is the mamon which is actually like an ensaymada already because it has butter, cheese and sugar on top. PLUS it has bacon inside. BACON! Nuff said 128540

Mamon or Endaymada? You name it, they have it! 128518

Hubby went home with these goodies last night. He got into an Ensaymada Challenge in his office, trying to look for the best value for money one. He brought Rustan's Mini Ham Ensaymada and went home with these, all the way from San Pedro Laguna! Yay!

The Ensaymada was okay. I would describe it as a Classic version - a little dry, smothered with margarine, then with granulated sugar and finished off with cheese. There was a bonus inside though, little pieces of ham. I would say that those from Rustan's were better.

Then the Mamon. I think these were supposed to be chocolate flavored? I'm not sure. But the bread itself was dark brown in color. They looked almost like the Ensaymada - smothered with margarine, sugar and cheese! Had a texture that was almost like Red Ribbon's Mamon. It was okay. Nothing special.

Hubby's officemates from Laguna said that Universal Bakery is really popular in there and that they sell the best Ensaymada in town...
