This place is an absolute gem! It's pretty quaint with it's uneven wooden floors, chipped pins & balls. You can even see the hands of the people fixing the pins and rolling the ball back after you take your shot. At P20 per game & no shoe rentals required, it's super sulit! I hesitate to put this on looloo because for my son and I, this is our secret happy place.

First, some clarifications. If you are a serious bowler, this might not be the place for you. The lanes look like they have not been renovated in 40 years, the balls are well worn and pock marked, there are holes and dents in the lanes and everything - from scoring to setting up the pins is completely manual. As in pagtumba ng pins, may makikita kang mga paa at kamay na nagaayos ng pins. Ganon.

But that's exactly why this place is incredibly charming. You feel like you've walked into a sleepy bowling alley in a provincial town in the 1960s. And even if the rules painted on the wooden boards explicitly state that you must be wearing proper footwear, you can gloriously bowl in your tsinelas and sando should the need ever strike you and no one will get in your way.

Ambulant vendors come in from time to time and you can have your pick of kamote cue, banana cue, taho or a selection of kakanin aside from the standard sari sari store fare (Chippy, Royal Tru Orange) available from the cashier.

And best of all, a game is all of 20 pesos. Three of us spent an hour bowling and spent a grand total of 120 pesos.

It's a wonderful and happy place.

Leave your kaartehan and expectations at the door and just throw yourself into the experience and you will have a lot of fun.

Oh and it's a 10 pin bowling alley. Perfect for younger kids.
