We reserved seats for 15 people for a lunch out with our colleagues. My officemate was on top of everything - reserving, getting a copy of the menu, and the payment for our advanced orders. Yes, we make it a point to order our meals at least a day before our scheduled lunch so that we won't have to waste part of our one hour lunch break deciding and waiting.

The ambiance of the place is quite nice. There are paintings on the wall (fish, chicken, pork and beef haha). The restaurant is neat and had a bit of orange-ish, cute lightings. The place is also spacious. I think it can fit around more or less 50 people. They were able to accommodate our request without encountering any problems (I assume, since the place wasn't crowded during that time). The service was also great. They were able to serve our meals right when we arrived.

The food was okay for the price and serving. I can say that it's cheap given the not-so-small portions, but when it comes to the taste, it's really just average. It was good, but nothing really special and not something you'll crave for. And oh, most of my officemates who ordered the home made corned beef found it really really really hard to slice (so they didn't finish it), but not me 128518

And oh! I heard that the bacon here is delicious. So if you want to try this place, you might want to give the bacon a shot.

Overall, place is nice, service is great, price and food are okay. Not bad! 128522

I have to admit that my professor sir Ele has taken the foodie scene by storm when he tells students a certain restaurant, it would be jam packed with hundreds of students the next day. Yes I’m exaggerating but that is what it felt like when we were at the restaurant. I’m talking about Up Rice Restaurant.

Up Rice is a very casual with the concrete floors and painted walls and ceilings with a dominance of orange in its color scheme that really sent out that “I just want to enjoy my food” vibe. It is amazing how wonderful the concept which is the restaurant itself boasts of their freshly ground, seared to order meats.

It is perfect for everyone, working mothers, call-center agents, office workers and students. They serve different rice with varieties of rice toppings to choose from. Busy people can still enjoy a hot rice meal for a reasonable price that doesn’t compromise its food quality. #henrysinstaxgiveaway

Great place to view the Manila Bay sunset. Their House Bacon and House Corned Beef are a must-try. I haven't tried all of their desserts yet but the Dark Chocolate Brownie tastes good! Staffs were very welcoming and thoughtful in their services.
