We tried their Php500.00 buffet and it was super sulit! we went there at around 7 pm and we were 12th or 13th in line but before that we tried calling them first for reservation, too bad they don't accept reservations. we were able to get a seat at around 9 pm (worth the wait somehow) what's nice is the ambiance, feels like you're in japan talaga. there will be one staff dedicated to your table to assist you on cooking. we were also surprised that it comes with a salad, rice, soup and tea. wagyu and oysters galore talaga kame. one of the best buffets I had! I just really wish that they'll work on their space para maraming ma-accomodate na customers.

My friend E and I wanted to meet up before the holidays since it's been a while since we saw each other. A lot of catching up was needed. She was willing to go to Makati and after a lot of different suggestions on where to eat and which day of the week we'll meet, we ended up deciding on Urameshi-ya and chose Monday.
Based on my previous experience on dining here, it's really best to drop by before their opening time because they don't take reservations for the eat all you can promo from Monday to Wednesday. And normally lines get extremely long and crazy. We were there by 5PM and were the 3rd or 4th in line to get a table.
The good thing about visiting during a Monday was that there were still scallops. Last time we visited on a Wednesday, they didn't have any stock anymore.
HOW MUCH: Php 500, + 10% Service Charge
WHAT'S INCLUDED: (all unlimited)
meat, seafood - wagyu cubes, scallops, sausages, pork slices, etc.
THE CATCH: you have to finish cooking everything you ordered within 45 minutes
We did finish cooking within 45 minutes, but since there were only 2 of us, it took a while to eat everything. Hahaha!! We were actually asked if the they can use the table already. But I asked what'll happen to the food we haven't finished. The waitress told me we can finish the remaining food by the bar counter since there were only 2 of us. I'm not sure if that's also the case for bigger groups, but maybe up to 3.
Though I wouldn't recommend the buffet for groups more than 5 because it would be too hard to cook for so much people in a short span of time.
I loved this visit because the service was pretty good mainly because it was still early and it wasn't crowded. When we left at around 6:15PM, I didn't see a waiting line. I'm not sure if Urameshi-ya has lost its appeal to people but it was pretty surprising not to see lots of people lining up for it. Or maybe because it was still Monday.
So if you're visiting, try to aim for a Monday and go there by 5PM. They supposedly open at 6PM but we got in by 5:45PM. So it wasn't so bad.

Unli wagyu for just 500 pesos (+ service charge)!!
A lot may say that the wagyu cubes here are not legit and are just processed meat but honestly, real or not real, I don't care. Haha! As long as my tummy is happy, I am happy. And for 500 pesos, choosy pa?
Anyway.. Many many months ago, I invited my friends to go here one Monday night for the grill all you can promo. We went to work early so we can go out early. Oh the things you do for the love of food!
You have the option to eat inside or outside. I personally think that it's better to eat outside because..
1. Open air
2. Lucky you if you're here early while it's still not yet dark because you get to have really nice and bright photos! #Priorities
3. Related to number 1, you'll still smell like grilled meat but not as intense as when you're inside.
Aside from the wide variety of meat and seafood choices, you also get to enjoy unlimited salad and soup. Not sure if the rice is free. The salad was pretty good. The veggies weren't as fresh but the dressing was yummy! Can't go wrong with the roasted sesame dressing!!
For the meat and seafood, of course the main reason why most are going here are the glorious wagyu cubes, scallops, shrimps, crab legs, and other awesome goodness. The choices are not fixed, some may or may not be available. During our visit, we weren't able to spot the crabs! So it's better go here on a Monday to ensure that there are more meat/seafood options.
We tried the following:
- jumbo shrimps
- scallops (not bad)
- sausages (they have different types of sausages but I was ony able to try the spicy version and it was pretty good!)
- marinated chicken skin
- marinated tuna (too salty )
- marinated beef (this was good, the beef was tender and tasty)
- marinated pork ribs (tasty but was so hard to eat)
- WAGYU CUBES!! (We didn't have to add any salt, pepper or sou sauce to enjoy these cubes!! Masarap na siya!! 🏼)
Can't remember how each tasted anymore but we were very satisfied and super full after. Sobrang not bad for 500 pesos. Very sulit and the whole experience was super fun.
Service is not that good since there's a lot of customers. You must be patient when asking for more wagyu, more salad or for asking anything. Either you wait or you follow up. But do it nicely para safe!
And oh, last and most important tip, it may look fun to grill your own meat but it's so much better if you let them grill it for you.

Wow. I think this is the 4th time I've been to Urameshi in just 4 months. That alone sort of tells you on how much we love this place.
It was the 31st of October. Prior to visiting the place, we called to inquire if they were open. We were thrilled when they answered, although they also informed us that there were about 20 groups waiting in line. We waited a little later and called again to ask for a status of the line before traveling to the place.
When we arrived at 9:30pm, we were the 13th on their wait list, but luckily, half of those groups have disappeared. We were able to enter the restaurant at 10:45pm.
I believe the waiting time is longer for the customers now since they are no longer allowed to grill outside the restaurant, so there are less tables available.
As usual, I was happy about my visit. Food was delicious! The salad had a lot of dressing but that's okay since I like the taste of it anyway. Their food is more complete now compared to my other visits. I don't recall seeing crab legs back then, although we didn't get them this time as well since the legs were thin. We didn't think we would enjoy it. Plus, it'll be such a hassle. I also noticed the large shrimps in their display and it looked good so we also got some. I'm usually lazy when it comes to removing the shrimps' shell, but I'm glad I was willing to do it this time. I enjoyed them And oh, the wagyu cubes are superb! We normally season them first before grilling. However, we didn't find the salt and pepper on our table. We ignored this and went on with the grilling and the resulting wagyu cubes are still heavenly.
Service was splendid, like always.
I don't know what I'm going to do if they suddenly discontinue their unlimited promo. This restaurant is irreplaceable.

Right after work on a Monday night, my friend and I went directly to Urameshiya for their UNLIMITED WAGYU BUFFET for only P500+SC. Upon arriving at Little Tokyo, the first thing that came to my mind was how the place resembled the restaurant strips in Japan. The place just yells “Japan!” 🇯🇵 Urameshiya was located at the end of the hall. Most restaurants here offer both indoor and outdoor dining.
Upon entering the restaurant, you’ll see a bar 🍾 right at the entrance. Because we were already a bit late, we did have to wait a while. The place does not accept reservations for the buffet so be there as early as possible. Anyway, we used the time to take a glimpse of what they offered. Just outside their entrance, a variety of different types of meat and seafood were displayed. The first thing I saw of course, were the beautiful Wagyu Beef Cubes. Then my eyes diverted to the fresh seafood which includes fresh oysters, prawns, and scallops. Sausages, meatballs, chicken skin, and diverse marinated meat were also available.
Since the place was packed, we agreed to be seated outside. I didn’t mind since I did love the exteriors. Upon seated, salad will be served as the staff takes your order. The waitress would remind you that you have to cook everything in 45 minutes and finish everything 15 minutes after the cooking time limit. Time starts once the first round of orders is placed on your table. At first, we thought that the time limit was too short so we cooked and ate fast (plus we were really hungry already). Wagyu beef cubes and scallops were our most ordered dishes just in case you were wondering. I was really SURPRISED that we were done in 50 minutes! Done meaning bloated that another bite would make you puke already (not because it wasn't good but because we were too full). Although I suppose our hunger level did have an influence on how fast we consumed everything
Review on the food:
WAGYU BEEF CUBES – To be honest, I don’t know how this unlimited wagyu buffet costs only P500+ SC per person. To be fair though, it did taste authentic and melts in your mouth. I do need to comment that they were a bit bland. You need to season them yourself for that extra kick of flavor. Also, be sure to dip it into the yakiniku sauce once its cooked before eating for more flavor.
SCALLOPS/ OYSTERS/ SEAFOOD – The scallops and shrimps are fresh and good but it took too long to cook so I guess I have mixed feelings about it. Do try it first then after tasting it, decide if it’s worth the long cooking time.
SAUSAGES and other meat – These were good too but of course, we focused on the wagyu beef since these are available elsewhere. I do need to comment that I loved their sausages too.
1. Do come early as there are no reservations for buffet diners and the crowd grows fast. Buffet opens at 5pm and closes at 1am.
2. Indulge and pair the meat with rice. Japanese food is meant to be enjoyed with great quality rice
3. Aside from the unlimited meat, rice, soup, salad, and house tea are unlimited as well.
4. Visit on a Monday or Tuesday as the Wagyu Beef and Oysters run out fast!
5. Scallops take too long to cook so scrape off the scallop from its shell and place 2-3 scallop meat on one shell so the grill does not get too crowded.
Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely come back to enjoy more Wagyu!

Unlimited Wagyu Beef Cubes for P500?
Sounds like a dream, but dreams do come true Haha!
The catch: You can only order within 45 min.
Uramaeshi-Ya located in Little Tokyo is one of the many authentic Japanese area in the area which serves unlimited grilled beef and seafood.
The place has this vintage dreamy vibe which resembles like an old house in Japan. From the outside, there are different meat to choose from displayed before the entrance. There are also seats outside for the smoking area. The yellow lights and the wooden corridors added more authenticity to the vibe, they even have displayed old soju bottles and Japanese booklets. Amazing!
The store opens at 5pm and closes at 1am.
We were around 10-12 pax when we went here and we arrived at 7pm. Sadly, we were only able start grilling at 9pm. Good thing I have good company so those two hours were mostly filled with catching up and chismisan.
The place fills up early so better to arrive 2 hours prior to meal time. They don't accept reservations as well so arriving early is recommended! They have a small grill which can be too small if you are cooking for 6 people So the ideal count per table is 3-4 pax since it takes time to cook one meat.
Anyway, they gave us fans to help make grilling faster. Shoes is required to be taken off prior to seating. When the Wagyu Beef Cubes came in, I was starstruck! I instantly became a fan who wanted to get an autograph from her idol. Lol!
Aside from the Wagyu Beef Cubes we were also able to grill Oysters, Prawns, Crab, Scallops, Fishballs, Sausages, Bbq and Chicken.
Don't make yourself suffer by not ordering rice, give yourself a break from diet cause it's best paired with rice talaga! (2 Bowls for me!)
The oysters were so good but we were only given one plate cause they got zero stocks already
VERDICT on the WAGYU CUBES
- Im sure it's not 100% wagyu beef cubes but it's as close as it can get. According to my friend who have the tried authentic Wagyu Beef Cubes, it slightly resembles but it doesn't exactly taste like that in terms of texture and oiliness
This version might be processed already.
- BUT YES, it's still delicious. The beef still melts in your mouth
- It taste so much better with the Yakiniku Dipping Sauce mixed with Garlic, since it has this slightly sweet taste which helped to lessen the umay
- After eating around 3 small plates of Wagyu Cubes, I must admit naumay na talaga ako cause I find it too oily na. I liked it but too much of it made me give up on eating already haha!
So I focused on the shrimps and other meats instead.
Note: The P500 excludes the service charge
INSIDER TIP: Oysters get replenished once a week only so better drop by during a Monday.
Service: The waiters were very patient and friendly. Order as many as you can but make sure you can eat everything. Sa sobrang bait nila we gave them tip talaga! Sobrang patient nila considerig we were 12 and we were ordering raw meats non stop.
This is a really good place for reunions and even casual dates, such a great experience!m

Urameshi-Ya, Little Tokyo, Makati
Our visit to Urameshi-Ya was more than a month ago. My super busy corporate friends and I had to take VL on a Monday to make sure we get there early and we won't have to wait. Got there a few minutes before their opening time and, considering the tips from so many reviews, we secured a table outside. Halfway through our meal, people started flocking and by the time we finished, there were already a lot of parties on queue.
So, what's good? Everything, seriously. The wagyu cubes and scallops were my favorites though.
It was a good feast but I kid you not, it was also a battlefield. They say you can ask the servers to grill for you but, with people ordering and asking for refills, they really get super busy.
Overall, very sulit. Soup and salad, also unlimited, are included in the PhP500 buffet fee.

Super Sarap. Sinong hindi masasarapan sa unli wagyu? Wala? Ay edi matic 5 stars! The resto opens at 5 pm and you can grill wagyu cubes, strips, teriyaki sticks, oysters and shrimps as many as you can in 45 mins. The place is a bit small and hot. The grille is small so if you are going to go on a group I will advice to limit yourselves to 4 persons per table to maximize your experience. Urameshi-ya is great place for wagyu lovers and will make you crave again the day after. 🇯🇵

I've been craving for Urameshi for a couple of weeks and last night, I finally gave in! We arrived at around 8:45pm and we were the 9th on the waiting list!!!! But there was only one couple around so we had our fingers crossed that all the others on the list backed out. Good thing they did, because I was getting a bit cranky due to the fact that I'm really starving!!!
We were able to enter the restaurant at 10pm. This time around, the place was colder and brighter than my first try. Meats for grilling started coming in after we were able to settle. The salad and rice (which usually came first), took time to be served. But no big deal, as the waitresses updated us from time to time about why it was taking so long and that they've already followed up, etc.
Wagyu. Wagyu. Wagyu. The highlight of my night. I usually sleep before 10pm, but for this wagyu, I'd gladly give up sleep. Hehe The first time I tried their wagyu, it wasn't what I was hoping for. But then after adding a little salt and pepper, we realized why people come for it.
The service was outstanding! If I was rich, I'd give their staff a large tip for how they accommodated us last night (but I'm not, but don't worry, we still gave them some tip). They were very attentive, friendly, composed despite all the work at hand.
By the way, beginning August 8, 2016, they changed the availability of their unli yakiniku. Instead of it being available from Monday to Wednesday, it now runs from Monday til Tuesday only.
I'm never gonna stop craving for this.

Took a half day off from work to try this Yakiniku resto in Little Tokyo. Though the place is just near my office, we need to be there as early as 4:30pm (30 minutes before the buffet's opening time) because the place gets usually packed quickly.
The mechanics on how to eat in Urameshiya is just simple.
1.) For Php 500, your table will be given a grill and you will have the choice to order from their wide array of items for grilling.
2.) Your table is given 45 minutes to cook everything that you've ordered and another 15 minutes or so to finish your meal
We were 5 in our table and we ordered the ff. items from grilling
A.) Beef Wagyu Cubes - these are really good and the amount of cubes served in 1 order is quite a lot. Although it would taste better if you'd put seasoning on it while cooking
B.) Chicken Skin - not good for grilling as this burns off easily
C.) Prawns - this takes quite a while to grill or maybe we just don't know if its cook already or not
D.) Oysters - quite a bit salty or tastes like the sea for me. I didn't eat a lot of this
E.) Scallops - these are really good although the size of the scallops are a bit small. The technique is to scrape off 1 or 2 scallops from their shells and let them cook on top of 1 scallop with a shell
F.) Beef Teriyaki with Asparagus - this tastes really good and the amount of beef in 1 order is big
G.) Chicken in a stick - would have loved it even more if there was seasoning.
Although I gotta say that you have to really work for the food that you will eat in this place. Do not come here if you are already hungry because the heat and the effort to cook your food might exhaust you faster than what you think.
Service is quite good. I cannot blame the servers if they will somehow forget your orders because there were really a lot requests from guests.
Overall, I think, the food is worth it because aside from the grilled buffet food, you can also ask for Unlimited Rice, Unlimited Salad and Unlimited Miso Soup.

This yakiniku experience was an extra challenge for us. You have to order, grill and eat within 45-mins. Timer starts when you start grilling.
It was fun because of the unique experience but at the same time stressful because of the time limit and the challenge to grill your own food. We experienced flames becoming big at times, tears on our eyes because of the smoke, flies flying around (we were seated outside), plus the heat of the surroundings.
Teemee T Ruth D Lark C and Chachi L planned early of our visit to this yakiniku place because of the long line. I had to go to work earlier than my regular shift so i can leave work early to fall in line. I got to the resto past 430pm but before 5pm and there were already people falling in line. I now believe that even before the sun sets, the place is already packed! And more people are still coming in until we left the restaurant.
For the unli package, you have a lot of choices. Starting from their famous wagyu beef cubes, shrimps, spicy pork, salted pork, marinated beefs, sausages, chicken skin and meat skewers, oysters, scallops and a lot more.
You may order as much as you want as long as you can cook and eat it within the set time limit. You can order until 15-mins. Before your 45-mins. Ends.
Besides from the main dishes, they will also serve you unlimited rice, miso soup and their cabbage with sesame dressings. i like both the soup and cabbage although be patient as it needs constant followups for the refills especially when there are more customers already as they tend to forget to bring it to you.
We had a bit of a challenge when cooking the meats as some would stick on the grill, or the juice of the meat will drip to the fire and the flame would start to get big. Good thing one of the waitress taught us some tip on how to handle the fire by placing the shells of the scallops in the middle, while the meats at the sides.
We paid 550 peso each for the whole experience.

Went for the eat-all-you-can promo of this place. It's from Mondays to Wednesdays, from 5pm to 11pm. The promo is priced at P500, and you have 45 minutes to order (and eat, according to the post on their entrance, but we took more than 45 minutes to cook). The post also states that if you go over the time limit, an additional charge of P500 per person would apply.
We arrived around 9:30pm on a Tuesday night and the place is full. We waited for a while to get seats. We finally got in at 10:15pm. When we were waiting outside I had a hard time breathing because of all the smoke from the tables grilling yakiniku. This is why personally, I think seats inside are better than outside, since it wasn't too smokey inside (because they have exhausts inside). Good thing we were seated inside. It also wasn't too hot there, contrary to my initial impression. For the food, I think I won't really comment much since I only ate the wagyu cubes. But there are a lot of options such as pork, sausages, oysters, scallops (I know there's shrimp, but I think they were out when we arrived). My brother loved the wagyu beef cubes too much! He describes this as the melt-in-your-mouth beef. This place is even his new favorite restaurant. He loved this place so much that he wanted to come back the next night.
Some advice, I think it's better to go here if you're not in a very large group, since it's hard to get seats if you're late, and the grill is small and so you might not be able to eat that much. I'm not sure if there's a table that can accommodate more than 1 grill, though. Also, I think it's better to arrive early to avoid the long waiting time, and perhaps there are more food choices when you arrive early.
We're planning to come back to this restaurant real soon.

My phone died for 4 months and it has been resurrected just earlier! And we celebrate it by posting a Urameshi-Ya review.
The buffet has a supposed time limit, meaning once you sit your bum the clock will start ticking until 45mins is up. That's the only time you can order, at least that's what they say. They'll let you finish your food until you frown from being so full.
If you're only a small group of 3, this is not a problem. We thought the time limit and the whole buffet thing was a joke - like wtf-kalokohan-this kind of joke. It isn't. Ate girl was super duper kind to help us cook all the food we ordered we thought she was an angel. Order and cook all you can, don't mind the time limit that much. Reserve all your kwentos at the post-dinner inuman session instead. This place is made of win.
How's the price for what you can eat? Sulit.
Any words of advice for the newbie? Prepare to smell like those wagyu cubes you came here for. You'll be smokin! Kasi amoy usok ka talaga.

I've been having Wagyu cubes dreams since the first time I saw pictures of Wagyu cubes and lots of seafood being grilled in this tucked away Little Tokyo restaurant - Urameshi-Ya. Everyone seems to have something good to say about what they offer! Imagine this: UNLIMITED Wagyu Cubes x shrimps x scallops x oysters x sausages x chicken skin on skewers x other glorious meat - grill and eat for 45 minutes, 500Php plus service charge! AMAZING DEAL! I knew I needed to try this place out but there were hindrances:
1) Buffet is only available from Monday to Wednesday
2) Restaurant opens at 5PM
3) Makati traffic!!!
It's just impossible to drag the husband on a weekday! Months passed and husband finally got a VL on a Monday so it was the perfect time to go to Urameshi-Ya! We tagged some |ooloo friends with us that day to make the experience fun! We were 7 in our group so we asked for 2 tables and 2 grills. We went early, like 4PM early, to secure our tables. The wait was worth it! When it was time, our server, Che-Che, asked for our orders since it was a sit down buffet.
Bowls of Wagyu cubes, scallops, oysters, shrimps, assorted sausages and marinated beef strips landed on our table ready for grilling! The buffet came in with unlimited servings of rice, miso soup, salad (with sesame dressing) and house tea (hot or cold). We were so giddy excited! We grilled like there was no tomorrow and our server helped us too! We were done with our orders in no time and summoned Che-Che for another round of everything - 2 bowls each!
The Wagyu cubes cook fast! They were good as is but you can sprinkle them with salt and pepper and probably with some soy sauce to make them better. Soft, melt in your mouth, you will not be able to stop! Heavenly! To set your expectations right, you must not expect "steak" class Wagyu here because these cubes were obviously "processed" which means that they could have been made from ground Wagyu that have been frozen and cut into cubes. nonetheless, they were still great! Che-Che said that these were flown directly from Japan.
The shrimps were orange in color even when raw. I believe this is the type that's being used for sushi. They had a sweeter taste compared to the usual shrimps that we get from the market. Kinda hard to eat these though because you need to peel off the skin but then again they were juicy and plump if grilled just right.
The scallops and oysters were big, juicy, plump and sweet! Dunk them into the soy sauce, add some chili and you're in for a seafood party! Seriously, I ate A LOT of these.
I need to commend their sausages too - tasty, juicy, yummy - it's so easy to lose track of how much you've consumed! They have three types of sausages plus hotdog but I've only tried the spicy one.
We also tried their garlic beef strips. Well marinated, salty and a bit sweet, yummy. The sauce tasted like teriyaki, rich in flavor, best when consumed with salad or maybe rice.
We didn't get to try their skewers and some other items in the buffet but that's okay. We were pretty much satisfied with our feast! Everyone agreed that it was well worth of our 500Php + 50Php for service charge! I would love to come back for more!
Note: Monday is the BEST day to take advantage of their buffet because stocks are fresh and don't get replenished until the following week. So you see, there's no guarantee that there will be Wagyu cubes or scallops on a Tuesday and more so on a Wednesday.

Red eye flight to Feudal Japan for a lil Yakiniku party with friends. #Ida #TimeSpaceWarp
Delusions of grandeur aside, the gang decided to swing by Urameshi-ya for some grilled Wagyu goodness. The usual suspects:
Mary Love S
With the special participation of Jairus d
Urameshi-ya offers unlimited Yakiniku for php 550 each (inclusive of service charge) for 45 minutes. Customers get to pick on their sumptuous array of fresh seafood, sausages, garlic beef and wagyu cubes.
Griller, tongs and a boatload of goodies were served when the clock hit 5pm. Since it's my fifth visit, i took the lead in grilling. This is a fun activity minus the smoke hitting your face in all angles.
The wagyu cubes, scallops, shrimp and oysters is the star of the show. The neophytes enjoyed it immensely. They were all giddy over the wagyu. I specifically liked the spicy sausage, best paired with the chili paste x soy sauce concoction.
The scallops and oysters are out of this world! Fresh and sweet. Sprinkle some chili flakes and you're good to go. The garlic beef is seasoned well and really tender.
You might think that 45 minutes is too short, but it isn't. It won't take long for the food to cook and everyone is really good at multitasking (eating while grilling - vice versa)
We shall return, this time with Ruth D and Ruth S

It has been months since I saw JP G's Urameshi-ya's Instagram post and I can't help dream about unlimited wagyu, oysters and scallops. The best part is that it only costs PHP500 (plus service charge). Thankfully, some loolooers were game to brave the Makati weekday traffic to visit the Little Tokyo's not so hidden gem. Since most are free today, July 4 (which also happens to be a Monday, the surest day that Urameshi-ya has wagyu), we decided to go for it!
Cla and Raymond picked the BGC foodies at Fort and we headed straight to Little Tokyo to avoid rush hour.
Little Tokyo was a ghost town when we arrived as most restaurants open at 5 pm. While waiting, we enjoyed some ice cream from Dojo which I will review separately.
It was just 4:30 pm when Che Che of Urameshi-ya approached our table asking if we're complete as we could already start if we want to. We were pleased as it means that we could eat earlier as I was famished! (I only had SkyFlakes in preparation for this feast!)
Soon, we were given tongs and griller. (We were given two but the other griller was placed on our table after 10 minutes or so.)
We ordered oysters, scallops, shrimps, sausages, garlic beef and wagyu. We took our time taking photos without realizing that our 45 minute time limit started as soon as all ingredients were placed on the table. Blogger priorities.
The griller's smoke went straight to my direction making it hard for me to see the food being grilled. There were also a few times I teared up and coughed because our culinary skills needed some work. In short, our first wagyu cubes were as black as coal. Well, for some sides.
Jairus d Reich T and Clarissa P took the lead in feeding the rest of us and I got to enjoy my money's worth. I got loads of wagyu cubes, a couple of scallops and oysters, sausages and some garlic beef and one shrimp. (I opted to just try one shrimp because I'm lazy to remove the shell.)
The wagyu cubes are soft and slightly sweet. The chefs added some salt to the meat for extra flavor and it turned out better!
The shrimp I got seemed to be a bit overcooked making the meat stick to the shell.
The oysters and scallops though were divine. I just didn't like that we had to wait a couple of minutes before we enjoy these God's perfect creations.
J loved the garlic beef and it was indeed good. It was well marinated and a tad sweet. It reminded me of beef teriyaki.
There were different types of sausages and some were spicy. I didn't try the hot ones and went with the regular one. It was great and was just like Jollibee's which I absolutely love!
I'd say that this buffet is bang for the buck! And I would love to go back for more!
Tip #1: Go on a Monday to enjoy the complete spread of meats and seafood.
Tip #2: Dine outside to avoid gagging for air and for better photos.
Tip #3: Just get that miso soup. It's part of the buffet. #paramassulit
Tip #4: Salad might be a better option compared to rice so that you could enjoy more meat and seafood.
Tip #5: If it's raining hard, WATCH YOUR STEP.
P.S. I filed for half day just to go here! Worth it!

Urameshi-ya....finally, finally, after a year of hoping to try your unli meat and seafood grill, i finally got to try just tonight. 🏻
Arrived at Little Tokyo around 4:30pm, a bit late, because of the traffic. Good thing the group was already complete and not much people on queue. Been hearing about the long reservation queues thus advising people to go there at least an hour before they open at 5pm.
For 500php, exclusive of 10% tax, you get to order and cook anything you want that's displayed in this food cooler. You do that in 45 minutes. At first I though that time is short, but nope, it was more than enough. We were really full half way through the cooking and eating.
Highlight of this unli Jap grill place is the WAGYU CUBES. Yes, uppercase para intense. These were so gooood! Melts in your mouth indeed! I can't count how much wagyu I ate. Reich kept on refilling our plates
Next, don't miss the Oysters and Scallops. Sulitin ang seafood! 🏻 They were all in big sizes 🏻🏻
The Beef and Garlic was also very very yummy! My diet.... The spicy sausages were also yum!!! Lahat naman masarap!
Super sulit for 550bucks. This place is a must visit if you're having that Jap barbecue or you want some cheap wagyu cubes!
Service was good though there were times our ate was sungit. nastress siguro sa amin hahaha.
Fun time with Reich T Mary Love S Clarissa P Raymond P Abe C at ang surprise na sumama na si Jairus d! 🏻 Finally nakasama na ulit ako sa eatup na to

I'd been wanting to try Urameshi-ya since my friends from my last job tried it last year. From Monday to Wednesday, for P550 per person, you get to eat you want.
It's located inside Little Tokyo, a collection of restaurants behind Shinjuku and my fave Izakaya Kikufuji. There's an entrance along Chino Roces and one along the side street fronting Makati Cinema Square. It's a modest layout, but consistent with what one would see on the side streets of Tokyo. You'll also see a Asahi Beer ads plastered all over so it does feel like Tokyo.
We stayed outside so we can smell less like smoke and get better lighting to take pics. Looloo'ers mga kasama ko kasi. We were there as early as 4pm and the place was still closed #HungryMuch
As soon as we got complete with Roy T, along with a surprise drop in by Jairus d, the lady started asking us what we wanted.
Uhhhhh WAGYU, of course! Square chunks of Wagyu beef was the center of attention. And scallops, oysters, garlic beef, shrimp, 4 kinds of sausages. We didn't get to try their skewers (which included chicken skin, one of theirbest sellers)
For our table, they put two grill pots powered by hot coal. Basically, you have 45 minutes to cook and eat. More than enough time, I think, though our eating was interrupted by the downpour of rain. It's tough to eat and cook. Luckily, Jairus d and Reich T have been there before, and were kind enough to take over the cooking at the start so some of the newbies can eat.
The Wagyu was heavenly soft and melt in your mouth. The shrimp was sweet and decently plump. Ditto for the scallops and oysters though I had to season them for more flavor. The garlic beef with green vegetables was quite good, too. And the spicy sausage was a winner for me, too. Worth the P550 fee. They also serve unli rice, salad (sesame dressing) and miso soup on the side. Service was good, though it wasn't super full. Their waitress Che Che also helped us cooking aside from serving the raw food for cooking and asking us for our sides. You can order cold tea on the side, which is free.
The rain was the only downer to the enjoyment. The floor got all wet cause it was a huge huge downpour over a half hour or so. But it quickly subsided, too. What an experience. When you gotta food trip, Clarissa P, grabe sa kaladkarin din tong mga kasama ko sa looloo. Nice quick foodie stop with Raymond P, Reich T, Jairus d, Mary Love S, Roy T and instigator Clarissa P.
