When I travel to Quezon City, I always spot restaurants that are only available in that area. There are many. If you go 2 Lazcano Place, for example, there are around 10 small establishments here offering their own unique offering.

Urbanidad is one of the spots, and they serve Cafe type food. My friends and I were treated for creamy sweet Strawberry Milkshake, all-time favorite, fudgy good Ms. Polly’s Chocolate Cake and uniquely made, tasty Chorizo Sandwich.

Our invite here was part of featuring the whole location. And Urbanidad stood out in terms of their creativity in their menu.

Very cozy and comfortable maybe because the owner is my batchmate in highschool. Makakapagkuwentuhan sa loob
We ordered latte (with art) and coffee jelly, sobrang sarap! Matapang ang kape (just the way I liked it) nahirapan ako matulog haha! I'll try their food meals sometime
Nataranta ng konti si ate dahil madami kami
Space is for 15 people inside and 20 people outside. A bit compact. From an architect's point of view, the place really looks great! Their branding too!
I'll definitely return!

I'm all for supporting local and small businesses... It makes for a more well-rounded economy. It's just that there are so many places opening one after another that it's difficult to figure out which ones are worth handing over your hard-earned paycheck to.

One Sunday, I wanted to try this new strip of restaurants that opened near Tomas Morato. I dragged my fiancé to Urbanidad Cafe on the ground floor. It's a very, very simple and quiet place, selling some knick knacks on one side of the store. They do have sandwiches and frappes on the menu. Coming from a birthday party at Shakey's, I just ordered the iced coffee and a slice of cake. The fiance had a cup of americano. The cake was okay, but I actually forgot what it was. The iced coffee was not something I liked. The lone waitress that day (after lunch) was very timid but nice. It was okay. Overall, boring, but okay. I'll let you judge for yourself.

Currently on soft opening, this quaint-looking cafe is a perfect place for some afternoon munchies. They serve sandwiches, coffee, cakes and tea. They have games and books for your entertainment while waiting out the rain. They also sell Local beauty products on their shelves. They have parking for the stranded or lost, and they're not far from the school and hospital. This will become a go-to place soon.
