After a full day of traveling and shooting, I stopped by here for lunch. It's one of the few places in the south serving a good sit down meal. And very friendly to foreign travelers.
The menu is pretty limited, allowing you to basically pick a meat and a flavor. Chicken, pork, or fish? I chose the butter garlic chicken, since they say it's their speciality. And of course rice.
Overall I'd say it's a satisfying meal. Good to get your energy back up and ready for the rest of the day. And worth the money. But not necessarily a meal worth writing home about. The chicken a bit dry, but the butter garlic flavor certainly shining. My favorite is that it's boneless chicken, so easier to eat.
I enjoyed the atmosphere of the place, though. Bamboo walls certainly give you an island vibe. They were also playing a documentary on Batanes which I really enjoyed.
My only real gripe is limited drink options. I was hoping for some coffee or soda to kick me back into gear. Something caffeinated. But they had no coffee, and coke is only served by the liter. Yikes. Tubig lang sayang.
P.S. Sorry for lack of photo. All the photo taking outdoors had me wanting to take a break.
