It feels like you are not in the Philippines when you're here.

I just hope that they'd be able to maintain the cleanliness if the canal. 128517128077🏼

This is my first time to visit the inside mall of Venice Piazza, because were always just passing thru it, by this time I told my hubby for a change naman we'll go here. We didn't have a hard time parking there, it's just amazing 128522128077🏻, we were ask by the guard if we wanted to park at the first floor because they saw us, we have a baby and that's advantage to us.

Upon enterring the mall you will hear from the bridge of the mall the song from the Phantom of the Opera that would be the background music playing all throughout the mall as we stroll and I just loved it! we really enjoy the ambiance. You may find more restaurants on this mall. I can't wait to try one of it some other time. The 1st and the 2nd floor has more choice of italian and american dishes. For those who wanted not so expensive dishes, there is a food court inside which has a big seating capacity. They also features a replica of the famous Grand Canal in Italy. It has a bridge where love locks can be placed and you can ride a Gondola that sails around the man-made canal (Php 500 per person) for a immersive reality experience. What a taste of Italy!!! I must say128518128077🏻

A taste of Italy can be experienced by visiting the Venice Grand Canal Mall in Taguig City. It is one of the Megaworld's Lifestyle Malls around the metro and an extension of the Venice Grand Piazza. Gone are the days where malls are boxed in a building with stalls and boutiques at the sides.

I actually enjoy the ambiance of this mall because of its architecture and design. This mall features a replica of the famous Grand Canal in Italy. It has a bridge where love locks can be placed and you can ride a Gondola that sails around the man-made canal (priced at Php 500 per person) for a more immersive experience.

We were very lucky to witness a live duet performance from the balcony near the bridge. 2 performers were singing "That's all I ask of You" from the Phantom of the Opera when we arrived. I don't know if this is a regular performance during weekends since during a previous visit that Inhad which happened to be a weekday only an opera like background music was playing throughout the mall as we stroll.

As for the shops and restaurants, most of the restaurants are already open at the ground floor. Most of the restaurants in the ground floor serve Italian dishes or anything with pasta/pizza/coffee/wine. There are also some restaurants that are already open at the 2nd floor but only a few. For those on a budget, there is a food court inside which has a big seating capacity.

Opened last December 2015 but shops and restos are still incomplete.
Nice to have your picture taken lang. But don't expect that it's the same with Venice of Italy 🇮🇹 or the one in Macau. Coz it's way too far from them! Weather palang fail na! Hehehe 128516

Look the reflection of Venice Grand Canal at night, magnificent! It is almost the same, so I decided to rotate and reverse the picture, the top part is the water and the lower part is the original. This is the first time I saw Venice Grand Canal during night time... all I can say is WOW! 128561 Amazingly Beautiful! Am I still in the Philippines? LOL 128514

Venice Grand Canal is inspired to the Grand Canal of Venice, Italy. With its concepts, the visitors will experience and feel the Italian set-up, colorful walls of the establishments, the luminous lights and the Gondola ride in the beautifully crafted man-made river. For Php500.00 per head you will able to ride the Romantic Gondola and experience Italy for a while even you're not there and let you feel also the soothing Italian background music... Sounds a great ride! 128540

There are lots of establishment now around the Grand Canal, unlike the first time I went here. Most of the establishments are in/with Italian concept/touch... Starbucks, TGIFridays, Sergio, Meatball Revolution, etc.

They will open a cinema too around the Venice Grand Canal, thats pretty exciting and I am looking forward on it. Yey! 128515

Megaworld Lifestyle Malls never stop to create beautiful concepts to entertain their customers.

I have been seeing a lot of posts about this replica of Venice's popular Grand Canal. Located at the new Venice Grand Canal Mall, it quickly became a tourist destination.

We got there around 11:30 a.m. and a lot of mall goers were taking selfies under the harsh rays of the sun. We figured that if we have our photos taken then, we'll just have several people in the background or be photographed with non-existent eyes because of the sun. We decided to wait it out and have lunch first.

We walked near the Grand Canal after lunch and there were still several selfie sticks around. But since we were already planning to head home, we opted to go for it. We found a shaded area that seemed perfect for some touristy action.

After a few shots, we walked around and spotted the gondolas. My mom and sister were curious and I could see on their faces that they want to ride it. But the summer heat and the crazy PHP500 per person price made them realize that it wasn't such a good idea. (I only saw 3 foreigners and one Filipina riding a gondola at 1:30 p.m. Yes, at 1:30 p.m.)

I read that you could also put love locks in one of the areas at PHP200 per love lock. I'd rather have a cold drink or ice cream. 128517

Don't get me wrong though. The place is nice. But the rates are crazy. It's like I'm paying Euros. 128547

127926Time to say goodbye
Paesi che non ho mai
Veduto e vissuto con te
Adesso sì li vivrò
Con te partirò
Su navi per mari
Che, io lo so
No, no, non esistono più
It's time to say goodbye127926

That's the first thing I heard when I visited the Venice Grand Canal. A beautiful song from Andrea Bocelli "Time To Say Goodbye" 127926127908127932

"Bellissimo" indeed! I was fascinated with the colorful Italian concept of the Venice Grand Canal. As a replica of The Grand Canal in Venice, Italy where you can ride Gondalas too, but I think this is more like the same as the Grand Canal of Venetian, Macau. Nice one! At least there's one in the Philippines. 128540

Around the beautiful view of the Venice Grand Canal, many of the establishments are still closed and under constructions and some of the restaurants open its doors to the public but still in the stage of soft opening and most of them are Italian concepts. 🍽127860

When visiting McKinley Hill, you should never missed Venice Grand Canal. Its a perfect place for selfie, groupie, boyfie, etc. 128241128247

Directions to Mckinley Hill from MRT EDSA AYALA Station: 128652

Commute: Ride a bus going to BGC at the BGC Bus Terminal near Telus Building EDSA-Ayala (Landmark: Jollibee) then get down at the corner of 5th Avenue and Mckinley Road and ride a jeep going to Gate 3 (Villamor) and get down at McKinley Hill (5-10 minute walk you will see the Venice Piazza) thats where Venice Grand Canal is located. 128653

There are lots of way when using private cars from MRT EDSA Ayala Station, straight a head to McKinley Road then when you reached 5th Avenue, turn right. Straight ahead until you reach Lawton Ave. (You will be re-route because Lawton Ave. is one way, but you will be in the same avenue after the re-routing) From Lawton Ave., turn right to Upper McKinley Hill, straight ahead until you see the Venice Piazza.128665

Venice Grand Canal is located at Upper McKinley Road, Taguig City (Entrance is inside The Venice Piazza) 128661

The Italian music, the Gondolas, the colorful interior and the Italian cafes and restaurants suits the cozy ambiance of Venice Grand Canal. 🇮🇹

Nice one, McKinley Hill! Great job! 12851510084

Such a wonderful summer view in the city. The sky looked ike a painting background of the colorful building. Yes, hash tag #nofilter to this vibrant place.

Even saw a flock of dove birds flying within the area. I imagine this place to be the perfect spot for coffee and reading, especially when it drizzles. Yes, Venice indeed! 972997299729

I've been here a number of times already whenever I need to buy something from Robinson's or when Ony and I meet after work but it was only last last last last last weekend afternoon that we went here as "tourists". We were with my cousin from Pampanga and we decided to tour her here. Since it's weekend, expect the place to be full wth tourists. And yes, it was! Super crowded, goodluck in trying to take pictures with no (or limited) photobombers! 128514128541

It's not yet "fully operational" but they started to offer Gondola rides and they have love locks, as well. The Gondola ride is 500 per head and the love locks for sale are 200 pesos. Kinda pricey given that it's still on a dry run. I liked how they designed the place, you can already imagine how good, beautiful, and romantic the place will look and feel once everything is done. But for now, it still doesn't have that romantic feels. Maybe because of the crowd or the sight of an on going construction.

But I cannot wait for the whole place to be complete, for all the restaurants to open (ahhhhhh so many restaurants to try!!!), and for the Gondola ride to be like the ones I experienced in Macau (or the legit ones in Italy). Cannot wait for them to have real singers. I am so willing to pay if they can really make that happen. That would be really nice, amazing, and romantic! I really hope they can make that possible! 128591🏻

My 36th Post Birthday at the Venice Grand Canal at McKinley Hill.

Finally, this is one of my bucket list , to try a ride at the Gondola ride128675 After we check out from my bday staycation at Belmont Hotel, my birthday celebration continues.,, we went to McKinley Hills to check out the newest attraction, Venice Grand Canal. We were in a hurry that hot Sunday afternoon as I was afraid that many people might go there too, yes there were a lot of people but not everyone can ride at the gondola as that price per person was 500 pesos. We were 4 so that's 2,000 pesos already and it would only take few minutes. It's very easy you'll just pay then wait for boarding and that's it. There were not much people on the gondola ride and most of people were there to take pictures but not to ride as it was expensive .

When it was our turn already, there was an official photographer who took a picture on us then the boat moved already. Just a trivia, the person who propels a gondola is called a "Gondollier". Then one is standing and sings an Italian song for us, this man indeed has a great voice then after he sings a Tagalog song, he will serenade you while enjoying the scenic view. If you'll ask me if its worth it?Yes! You will experience a taste of Italy. It's expensive if you'll fly all the way to Macau or to Venicr Italy, it's just easy to reach the Mckinlley Hills.

We took a video while we were riding the gondola ride and as we finish the ride and reach the dock, you can see the official photos, we got both the pictures. Each photo cost 150 pesos so I paid 300 pesos. Everything was worth it. I prefer you go here on the afternoon if you want a goof shot on your cam but the romantic part is at night but don't expect you can have good shots on your cam because it's really hard to take pictures if your cam doesn't have a flash.

Hello Venice!128515 Good afternoon Macau!128540 Finally, seen the viral Venice Grand Canal and it is located at Mckinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig. I was amazed with the not so much crowded grand canal today, hinde sya mukhang Luneta Park or Divisoria sa dami ng tao, like what I saw in the social media that the grand canal was too crowded. 1285149996🏼️

Colors everywhere when I saw Venice Grand Canal for the first time. 12815612815312815412815510084

The Italian background music also suits the place. 🇮🇹 Many establishments around the Venice Grand Canal are still under constructions.
