Lunch at Via Antonella in which we had the following:
- cheesy sisig lumpia: it's the 128163 ! So good!
- tuyo pasta : it's also good and the pasta is al dente but i was expecting something more
- lamb kaldereta: i can't tell if it's a lamb or a beef actually...should i be able to taste the difference? 128533
- bicol express liempo thing : also regretfully forgetable

But to be fair (and to be completely honest) I usually go to Via Antonella not for their meal but for their below cheap zero beers which if you order by the bucket will give you a free appetizer (go for the chicharon!!). It's really our upgraded Sarah's hehe 127867

Honestly, I didn't want to eat here. I was asking my parents if they would like to eat in Wicked Kitchen but it was closed due to All Saint's Day. So we ended up here. I'm glad my sister persuaded us to eat here!!! 128525128525128525

I loved their Liempo Confit Bicol Express and Barbecue Back Ribs! They were divine!!! And super affordable! Serving size can feed a hungry Pinay like me and the flavors were just bursting in every bite! 128525128525128525

Will definitely come back! 128077🏼128077🏼128077🏼128077🏼128077🏼

Via Antonella has nice interiors and spacious dining area. I tried the pork chop but it was a bit bland that I had to ask for barbecue sauce. House blend iced tea, served in a huge mug, was good.

I will have to try other dishes next time. 128521

We had to eat here because The Breakfast Table was full. Promising menu, really really slow service, huge plates with a really small serving of food. The food was okay, would've been better if the serving wasn't so small and the wait for it wasn't sooo long. My mom said the bill wasn't worth it and that we should've eaten in Casa Marcos instead. The waffle ala mode was good though, probably because it was all chocolate and caramel and syrup.

Went to UP to try to get back into shape then had dinner at Via Antonella. The place looks very homey and perfect place for steady date night or lunch/dinner with friends. I ordered the spicy tuyo spaghetti and Mike had the longganisa bolognese. The spicy tuyo was just okay because I had high expectations from the reviews. I think they need to add more tuyo and I dont suggest putting calamansi over the pasta. Maybe i'll try a different dish next time. On the other hand, Mike loved his longganisa bolognese. We also tried their coffee. We ordered iced latte and the creme de cocoa latte. I love their coffee.

Maginhawa! I've conquered you at last! Been dying to eat here! Finally got the chance to do so.

Since this was our valentine celebration we made some intensive research to pick a restaurant that would both satisfy us and make our dinner worth remebering and I found via antonella 128525

At first i read some review about this joint and turned out it has a lot of good reviews, then i searched for their menu to see what they can offer, found some unique dishes that i knew my boyfriend would've want to try so i finally chose this place

We ordered the cheesy sisig lumpia which had this sophisticated presentation, then the sisig linguine, okay i know this was sort of redundant but we wanted to taste both, then our main course was the hole in the bone, the linguine was so good we both loved it, the hole in the bone however had a heaping serving of veggie sides which complimented the beef very well, the downside however was that the beef was a bit tender but it was still considerable. Over all we enjoyed our dinner, choosing this restaurant was worth it!

Aside from their affordable steaks, a band plays on Fridays and Saturdays. And no, not one of those bands that would make you leave because you can't hear your friends. The place is actually conducive to great conversations.

Went here again for a pre-Christmas get together with dear workmates :)

It was good they only have the bands on weekends and so we were able to exchange stories and chika freely.

We ordered their sausage penne, chicken ala King with waffles, grilled chicken, Tapsilog, spicy tuyo pasta and grilled salmon.

The group enjoyed the food and had orders of blueberry pannacota for dessert. Thanks to looloo, again, I was able to redeem a free mango cheesecake that we shared. Good dinner :)

Loved the ambiance! Very homey. Plus their food is delicious, especially their Chili tuyo pasta and their appetizers!

If it wasn't for the exclusive VAT thing, i would totally give them a 4 :(

We had our Saturdate here last November 8 after spending an hour or so thinking of where to eat in Maginhawa.

We were lucky to dine on a Saturday night when they had their acoustic duo belting on some nice tunes. The food was commendable, we had spicy tuyo pasta that was delicious (loved the salty-sour flavors), hanger steak that was tender (i was only able to taste a few slices before it disappeared), cheesy sisig lumpia was good though I'm not fond of the "liver" taste. We had their homemade iced tea that was really refreshing (it's served in a big ass glass too) :)

We were lucky to avail of their looloo special too, kudos to their owner who was very accommodating. We shared the mango cheesecake which was a perfect cap to a wonderful night.

When we got there, the place was still empty and service was good. When the place started getting packed though, service started to slow down. They tried to move as fast as they can but there were just too many people for them.

The food was good and the price is not bad too. You can get a 3-course dinner for about P400. Not bad. Best to get there early to avoid the peak hours and slower service.

I'll go back but before or after peak hours.

My first time here on a Saturday!128522

They had a function, but a lot of guests didn't show up, so they were open to the rest of us hungry people... I was on a date with my bf, who was here for the first time... 128077

I suggested the cheesy sisig lumpia, but it wasn't available... 128549 so we ended up ordering the nachos, which I ate mostly by myself... I then tried the hanger steak, while my bf tried the burger... The steak was very affordable, filling, of generous serving, and delish! All things you would want in a meal!128522

My bf enjoyed their burger too!128076 though he finished part of the hanger steak as well... We partnered the meat with subzero beer!128077 I'm happy as this is one of those places which always has the San Mig flavored beer on hand! Much appreciated!128513

They had a duo singing the latest hits!128522 I don't know if this is a weekly thing or if they were there specifically for the function... But I enjoyed listening to them anyway...

This resto is becoming an ever reliable place for a good hearty meal that is easy on the pocket!128077

Converted another friend into a fan of this place!128077

My friend and I had dinner here two weeks ago, just to get away from everybody else!128513 we wanted to go to Pino for their strawberry beer, but parking was impossible even on a week night... I suggested this place, sure that she will love it here... And she did!128525

The place is very laid back, with a simple understated elegance about it... I love their green and white color palate and their huge windows... And all the friendly smiles from their staff!128522 they really know the menu items and will take their time explaining their best sellers to you... Well trained! Even at taking pics!128076

I urged her to try their burger, a pretty good one IMO... We both had burgers and flavored beer... As predicted, she also liked the burger!128522 the buns were okay, but the patty was juicy and the sauce (mayo with something else, I think) went well with it!128077 definitely great paired with beer!128522

Cheers!127867

I had pica pica when we went there. But tasted the rice meals (lamb kaldereta and liempo Bicol express) my friends ordered. I will definitely go back to eat here and maybe next time try with their selection of wine :-)

As I enjoyed my first visit here, I jumped at the chance to go back with a friend... We just wanted to talk over some beer and pulutan... We got the nachos and cheesy sisig lumpia, which we both liked! 128516 I really enjoy the place and their food!128077

This hidden gen in maginhawa is a place where you can have a fine dining at a very reasonable, affordable price! You can have steaks for as low as P300-400, pasta meals for around P100+ and they've got a great selection of wine! They also have live bands at selected days and the servers are very friendly and accommodating!
