Surprisingly pleasant experience with last week's hair and make-up session. Not bad for 1,000 (roughly the same price at David's). "No make up" make up, achieved. And the hair style, pk. Disente.

I keep giving this place a chance because it's near our home. But I've had enough!!! 128547

Had my hair dyed and mani pedi done. They don't have INOA Loreal, so I had to settle for the stronger smelling formula which gave me a headache. Then when I was choosing my favorite OPI polish color, they said it ran out 128531 So I asked to choose among the colors, kulang kulang! Haaay. Eh kung magsara na kaya kayo? 128545

You'd think the horror ends there. But NOooooo!!!!

They got some amateur trainee doing the color for my hair! I was relaxed at first, but the more he does it, the more I got concerned. Some dye gets on the sides of my face and forehead. I can feel the dye quite strongly smothered on my scalp. And since I have some white hair that needs to be covered, the dude didn't do a good job at coloring all of it! So when his senior came to check, which was far and in between, he found out that the dude doing my hair missed a lot of white hair, AND used up all the mixed dye!!! So the senior guy had to prepare another mix! The dude used up all the dye on the roots when it should've been for the entire head! Gaaah!!!

It ended up taking more time!!!! You know what happens if the dye stay longer on your hair right? So I was silently cursing and praying that he didn't burn my hair and scalp to death!!! 128561128561128561128561128545128545128545

I paid for P2K for some amateur dude to touch my head and practice on it??? What the??? Not coming back.

Oh and they're their usual snotty self. They tried to smile a little, but you can feel it is so forced. Ugh! Horrible service!

And if you notice the armchairs for the mani pedi and waxing area, they're dusty. Ewww.

Good space -- spacious, quiet, clean.

Got a haircut a while back and I liked how it came out. The senior stylist, Leo, did the cut. Aside from the result, I also liked that he was just the right amount of chatty, not too much hehe.

Hubby had his second haircut here yesterday and it was still good.

I guess for simple, straightforward haircuts, at this price it's a good place to go to.

511088️ for shampoo & haircut ONLY IF you get Roy for shampoo/blowdry & Leo (senior stylist) for your haircut.

Roy gives your scalp a good scrub and massage that the 200 bucks you paid for the haircut is already sulit.

Leo is the friendliest and most accommodating among the stylists.

-111088️ for their makeup. Good enough but It's better if you bring your own foundation coz the one that they use don't last very long. Lusaw na by the end of the day. The stylist was a bit snooty. Hair & Makeup is at 1000php. +100php for the falsies.

How to get here:
if you are from pasig, makati, taguig, pateros, anywhere from the south, the point of reference is the MRT Boni Station, now if you are coming from other parts of the metro, might as well make your own route LOL, the landmark is McDo, ride the jeepney with the signboard "gabby's" and tell manong driver "kuya pakibaba mo na lang ako sa victor ortega" hahaha!! Alam na nila un!

Appointment:
Pwedeng mag appt pwede dn walk in hahaha
10am ako kanina late ako ng 15mins or 30mins yata muntik pko pagalitan ni bakla haha sabi ko na lang "traffic andaming nangangampanya" ayun naconvinced nmn ang lola mo!

Interiors:
Not so gay, just plain white. Mirrors and Kable ng plantsa everywhere hahaha

Crew:
So gay....lingo, national dialect! I just find it rude somehow coz it causes paranoia to customers, malay mo diba kung ikaw na pala ang pinaguusapan nila?! I know this is usapang parlor, I mean not in the sense of tsismisan but something to do with your hair or kung anu mang gagawin nla sayo. Haha! Kala nila d ako nakakaintindi ng gay lingo ha, linguistic yata ako. Hahaha terms like "shunggalin mo na... ditis.. DItey... Malapit na majopus..." Or any word that the initial letter was replaced by J - automatic a gay word. Hahaha

Color coded din sila, ung mga brusko nkablack either tagawash ng hair, taga blowdry, taga plantsa. Ung mga bading na nakawhite mejo senior stylists na yata sila. Basta black and white lang sa loob hahaha!!

I've been donning my hair here since 2011, that's every fourth quarter.

Regular Rebonding costs P999, separate payments for additional treatments like cellophane, brazilian, color or keratin.

They have a "rainy day" promo, you cannot miss the big tarp right in front of the salon. Hahaha! 2 deals at P2500 each. Deal 1 is color, keratin, haircut. Deal 2 is rebond, keratin, haircut. I chose the latter, minus the rebond services sponsored by my generous friend....again. Hahaha!! So that's P1500 off my wallet. Last year nga P500 lng binayaran ko eh , tip lang sa nagrebond. hahaha nagsabit pko ng friend ko so dalawa kmeng nasponsoran. D kase ako nagpatreatment last year. Advisable na magkeratin para ibalik ang sigla ng patay n buhok bilang malapit na ang undas hahahaha!!!!

Hanapin nyo ako sa pic! Ako ung mukhang "plastic" hahaha pasimple akong nagpipicture kanina. And reminder lang, bring your own baon! Mashugal ang ganapan!!! Hahahaha tom jones ako kanina nakalimutan ko magtake out sa mcdo kakamadali sa appointment ko.

A cleaner (and snottier) David's salon. Been here twice, since it's near my place. The first time I went here, I got shocked with their prices for eyebrow waxing. Should have done it at nearby Duchess spa (where it's cheaper & has a more relaxing vibe). I felt so violated after, considering the job was so-so. Today, I got my hair colored & power-dosed. A decent job. And it's the same price I'd pay at a David's salon. Was going to book their make up artist for a hair & make up appointment tomorrow, but it turns out, there's only one dude capable of doing it & he's on day-off tomorrow. Oh well. Snotty much? Looks like I'll stick to my tried & tested make-up man in Jessie Mendez. For a new salon that's building a client base in this area, I was expecting more. Tsk tsk tsk

Had my eyebrow shaped and mani pedi done.

Staff experience are not consistent. The one working on my hand is better than the one working on my toes. We all know that the pedicure lasts longer than the manicure so it's more important.

For my eyebrows, well the one doing it accidentally gave me a little cut. 128534 It was bleeding but I didn't know! Kaya pala punas sya ng punas. I only learned of it when I got home and was washing my face when I felt a sting. 128557

I give it a 4 because it's so near my place. I've tried threading, mani-pedi, hair trim and so far no law suits filed yet. 128541128516128556

For days when you're lazy to see your beloved "ate" this place is a quick fix.

I need to have my hair trimmed but too lazy to go to Market Market (I usually go to Tony & Jackey) so I decided to try this salon which was a few steps away from our house.

When I entered, the receptionist quickly attended to me and washed my hair. The senior stylist asked me what I wanna have done then he started to prepare his matetials. 128135 Took him about 10 mins to start cutting my hair coz his hairclip was missing! The outcome was so-so. He made it too layered, so I had to blowdry every morning to avoid the ends to fly away. 128547 Spell e-f-f-o-r-t.

The place was spacious and clean. The mani-ped area was separate from the cutting area. It was too hot though. They only had one aircon (unless I didn't another one in the mai-ped area) so imagine how hot it'll be if the place is full of customers. 128531

Would I come back? Uhm probably to try their mani-ped or foot spa. But for haircut, I'd rather have it in T&J. 9786
