It's been years since I last dined here and to see how much Vikings has improved since then is really nice! Place is actually bigger now. Food choices are very good.

Be sure to get the california temaki, and the other makis. I loved most of them, except the really spicy ones! I also enjoyed the finger foods - canapes, beef burrito, and the assorted quiches. Lamb and steak were okay, not the best but eatable. The scallop mixed with egg was good! Strawberry ice cream is indeed a treat, love that they don't serve ice cream that tastes like milk and sugar only. Cheesecake was good as well, enjoyed it very much.

Overall, it was a nice experience. Definitely better than the other affordable buffets when it comes to desserts and the wide selection of food. Service is of course good, their servers are as cheerful as they should be.

To confess, I am a frequent diner here hihi! I enjoyed the first time I ate here. And so, I keep on coming back and recommending this. The long queue of walk-ins in a daily basis would speak for itself. 128513128521

The place is too cramped. It's very uncomfortable especially that you'd have to move around from time to time to get food.

Came here for a birthday dinner, and it was still the usual set up. You have to come in early so you' can have your seats reserved. Or you can call them and reserve at least a week before.

Anyway, they have a good selection of sushi and Japanese food. If you're into that kind of cuisine. The Chinese station has also good choices - dumplings and the like.

Aside from those 2, they have a grilling station, filipino station, cheese and bread station, rice, soup and salad station. They have a dessert station too. Basically they're just like any other buffet restaurant

I can't really say that I loved it though since my family loves to eat at buffets. And we love Marriott and Spiral the most, but its still good. I mean compared to their competition, and to other branches, its worth it and I would still recommend it to others, specially for a birthday celebration. (1,500php/dinner)

My brother ranked it second to Niu from all their branches we've tried.9786

I'd say one of my favorite thing about Vikings is their baked oysters. 128525 Though this one is usually gone after a few minutes of baking, but the chefs are kind enough to let you know how long the next batch will be available. I like Vikings because of the diversity of food they offer. This place is usually jammed so be sure to call for reservations not unless you'll be the first in line. I also like how you can ask them to grill your kind of fish, and the fact that so far, they have tasty maki and fresh sashimi. You can also make your own pasta. Dessert wise, it's pretty good too considering the different cakes they have; make your own froyo, taho, freshly made crepe. Though, they do not have the hongkong waffle anymore. The price is pretty reasonable already. Will definitely keep on coming back!l

my favorite buffet place compared to spiral and heat before, but now the restaurant is starting to decline in terms of its festive, happy and lively atmosphere. this is my favorite before, because i literally can eat like a viking. i can enjoy the food, the place, and the company I'm with at the same time. every time i'm here i have something to celebrate and it has been 3 years that i've consistently celebrated my birthday here. and this is probably the experience that i didn't enjoy the most. 128148128148128148

place,
they've re-arranged the interiors, making the dessert area spacious this time.

food,
the variety is still there, but i always stick with the salad as a starter, steak(roasted beef ☆☆☆☆ & leg of lamb☆☆☆☆), pasta ☆☆☆☆, pizza☆☆☆ , ebi(shrimp) tempura ☆☆☆☆ and hakaw (shrimp dumpling) ☆☆☆☆. the salad is almost always fresh. the steak should be watched by you to assure that it's properly cooked by the chef, but when it is, you'll definitely keep on coming back for it. i often eat less pizza & pasta, because it's gonna make me full immediately(we don't want that when we're eating on a buffet). ebi tumpura!!! i like to remove the batter(coating) of the tempura, because most of the time 70% of the tempura is composed of plainly just the coating(and i hate that) on other restaurants. but they've made the batter really minimal and just enough to cover the shrimp(two thumps up for that). and hakaw the simplicity of its taste my taste buds couldn't forget.

price,
still affordable for the variety of food choices they provide and note that they've made an increase with their rate this time(+P50).

service,
this is the weakest part for them right now. i hope that can do something about this. they're still nice and attentive. but i'm missing the warm and festive feel coming from them.

will i go back again??
yes and i hope to have what i'm missing from them next time.

So it was my sister's best friend's birthday and we went vikings to celebrate.

This branch is always full compared to their other branches whether it's a weekday or weekend, there's always a line.

So as usual they have a very wide variety of food. Ate a lot ,above picture was just half of what I ate 128513 haha. But the ones that really stood out wete:

127837Pesto cream pasta
128031Seafood croquette
Cheese quesadilla
Hakaw
127856Cheesecake

I noticed that the dessert selection now was quite few compared to the number of sweets before.

The service and the staffs though were all very polite and attentive 128077

Great food selection- so many food choices
Wide range of desserts- not just those small cakes which were so good, just like in hotels (and certainly not those parties that most buffets buy from other baked hops)
There were also merienda choices like puto bumbong and bibingka. Also ice cream!

What I didn't like- they took a long time to refill the empty plates. I had to come back 4x for the beef- maybe since it could be the most expensive item they don't put out as much? So slow in refilling the favorites- dimsum, shrimp tempura and also the baked oysters (which I finally gave up on)

When I finally got the beef that was so hard to acquire--- it was overcooked! Very well done. It wasn't worth the wait.

So we decided to have dinner at Red Ginger in COD. However, on our way, my brother had a major sashimi craving, which easily got into me too. We thought of dining at Viking's instead. Then we remembered, it's our mom's birthday month, meaning she'll be free of charge since she's with four paying adults (Birthday Month Promo). It's going to be a little cheaper, and more sulit. So he drove straight to MOA Seaside.

We did not make a reservation and when we got there they were serving walk-in guest #19. We got #30. We waited for less than an hour, not bad, especially that there were servers offering lemonade and they have a Halloween booth at the entrance where guests can do some photo ops.

When we were finally given a table, first stop was the japanese buffet, then the grilling station, then the japanese buffet, then the japanese buffet, then went back for some more sashimi.....then finally dessert.

Our bunso, i think enjoyed the most. He started with Sinampalukang Kambing Soup, he got a duck too, balot, lamb, roasted beef, beer, etc.. and had a lot of dessert!

Dining at Viking's is an occassional thing, but always always ends up with a very happy tummy. 128522128516

Vikings, being one of the largest luxury buffet here in the PH will not only bring you food coma but will let you experience different kinds of cuisines throughout the globe. For only 688.00 (Weekday lunch), get to experience this really amazing gastronomic food trip! Loving the draft beer! hihi Here’s what I ate: I started off with some chinese.. then some salad. Then I had more Chicken All American, Oyster Rockefeller, Roasted Wagyu, Crispy Pork Slab, Crispy Sisig, Baby Back Ribs in Root Beer Sauce, De-Constructed Cordon Bleu, Japanese Yakitori, Roast Beef Tenderloin. Some pasta, Quesedilla, Pizza, and more. For dessert I had green tea ice cream and crepe. I tried their strawberry lemonade, I think and some beer. Truly, I was sooooo full that day.
For my second time to try Vikings and as always, it does not disappoint! This time we tried their Birthday Promo! This time let me give you tips on eating here at Vikings! First is, do make a reservation. It’s really better to have a reservation than walk in! You can make a reservation through Private Message in their Facebook Page, or phone.
Be sure to arrive at the venue 5-15 minutes early to re-confirm your reservation. Make the most out of it! Lunch starts at 11 AM to 2:30 PM and dinner is from 5:30 PM to 10 PM.
Their rate is different in lunch and dinner and even on weekends! They say they offer much more during dinner time, and you get to enjoy the buffet longer than usual.
Watch out for their Promos! They have Birthday Promo, Wedding Anniversary Promo, Big Group Promo and even Student Promo!

Celebrated my mom's birthday here last week. We availed of their bday treat where the celebrant is free if she's with 4 full paying adults. Good promo!

Food, I think, was not as good as how they used to be when they just started. I mean they're still good but I think 'nakakasawa na'. Probably because I've been here a lot of times already? 128517

My first stop has always been to get a lot of salmon sashimi. When i went to that section, the slices did not look so appetizing so I requested for newer stocks and the person gladly gave me a plate full of fresher looking ones128079🏻128079🏻 Baked oysters in cheese was my second stop. As usual, it's one of the hits so the waiter suggested he serve us some when it's ready. I was really happy about this 128079🏻128079🏻 since it was a weekday, they only had tenderloin, lamb, and turkey in their carving station. they have their angus beef during weekends or holidays. good to know.

I loved the Cucumber Agua Fresco, a very refreshing drink. I think I had four glasses. It was a very light drink, and not sweet at all.

Oh, and big claps to their birthday greeters- those who went around, greeted, sang, and even danced for the celebrants. They sure were really entertaining. I can remember the front liner, the very hyperactive guy, last time I went here for my birthday because he made me dance 128518128518128530128530 they did their job well. it's not easy to go around all night.

This restaurant may have lost its food quality, despite the number of cooked dishes served there, nothing was worth tasting. My recent Vikings experience was horrible, the food was blah and almost everything was not good to my taste. The only foods that I enjoyed eating was the tempura, grilled salmon, and the sukiyaki soup. Tenderloin Steak was dry, seafoods were also dry and tasted like it was reheated or re-cooked, and most dishes were cold. Actually i have no plans on visiting this restaurant in the near future.
