It was my yaya's birthday so I thought it will be wise to treat her in Vikings for free. Just make sure it is the exact birthday so only one paying adult is needed.

I think this is my 8th or 10th time in this branch. This branch is the nearest in Rizal. Most of those visits were dinner time. Lunch time as I observed is more quiet. More older people, more of officemates or meetings, rather than family are eating.

The food spread is good as dinner except that I did not see any crabs.

Aside from that, we had unlimited tempura, shrimp halabos,
salmon and tuna maki to our hearts desire. :)

I love seafood than the carvery so I focus on those. For the meat lovers, there are carvings of beef and lamb i think. then there is lechon, bagnet and other pork dishes.

The tummy cannot really get all the available food. You simply have to get those you really like. I skipped most of the cooked Korean, Chinese, Japanese and English food. Instead, I requested for a grilled fresh squid and salmon head. You just give your table number and they will deliver in your table.

I also skipped most of the appetizers, salads and the bread station. It is just too much! The pasta and pizza station is good for kids. My son loved it.

The drinking station: Sad part is that the milo and iced coffee drink is not available during lunch. It is acceptable for me, but my son was expecting it. I had fresh juices of all kinds. It was refreshing so I am good. You can also ask for hot coffee or tea. Sometimes there are fresh fruit shakes that can be prepared by the crew.

For the dessert station, there was no puto bumbong and
bibingka during lunch, but the cakes and ice cream are overflowing..There is a new waffle like Yo Panda. I got it and added ice cream. So yummy!!

Over-all, it is really worth it IF one is celebrating her birthday. haha! :)

Some tips:
1. you can take -out the birthday cake given to celebrants
2. you can request for shabu-shabu to be delivered in your table
3. baked oysters are hit or miss. sometimes tastes juicy, this visit it was dry
4. cheese section is limited but still good.
5. try the frozen yogurt. it is so good!
6. halo-halo is good too.

Had a great time here this afternoon. Food were well-prepared and mouthwatering.

The ambiance was good, loud, and energetic. Their "Birthday Crew" were consistent and in high spirits despite the many birthday celebrants that they have to go through.

Also got my very own Vikings Card for only PHP 50!

Will I go back here? Definitely! No need to wait for an occasion.

Hi Looloo I missed you!!! 128518 so last night we had a team dinner at Vikings in SM Marikina because the Vikings at SM North is already fully booked for the night.

There were few people when we went, maybe because who does buffet on a Monday night amirite? 128514 it is a good thing for us though because that meant smaller or even no queue on shrimps, crabs, oysters hehe. The selection is smaller compared to Vikings at SM North and MOA but I find this branch cute and cozy.

Overall good experience!128523

Reminder: Make reservations. Always make reservations. 128556

Took advantage of the "#du30" promo today and we only paid for 2 out of the 4 in our group. Not bad.

I think this branch is their smallest, but the buffet still has a lot of choices. Food quality and flavour are good enough for what you normally pay for.

Late Post.

Celebrated Mother's Day and my mom's birthday on May 8. We have no reservations so we ended up on wait list #19. We arrived at 10AM listed then we get inside at around 12:30PM.

All stations were still the same, but, I still miss their HAKAW up to this date. It's been years since they last put it on their chinese station. Beer and alcohol were not available that day due to Voting the next day.

Family enjoyed the celebration. But for me I can no longer eat that much. So a P950/head (Sunday) is not sulit for me anymore. Im skipping any buffet with priced at P700 up unless it's a treat 128517.

Still VIKING'S still a great venue for celebration.

Paid via BPI credit card to get that P150 worth of Starbucks' freebie. 128521

I always go for the sushi and sashimi first. No-fail. Always.
Then the meat-- their lamb was good that night.
Then the sweets! This was my favorite surprise for the night! 128170🏼 Along with the white wine (Jacobs Creek) 127863

Pasta was meh.
And there weren't any birthday singers :-( Boo.

Its almost always the resto we go to when one family member has a birthday. Not just because they have the Birthday Promo, its just one reason. LOL!
My husband and i love their Japanese Sushi Bar, specially the Salmon & Tuna Sashimi.
Aside from the hundreds of buffet foods, you can also request for a special order of sinigang, your choice of pasta, sisig and etc! No extra charge guys! 128077🏻

You'll have a wide variety of food to choose from. If you want Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Italian, American and Filipino dishes, they have it! And a lot more, may I add. If your kids are picky eaters, they have food that kids will surely like! They have at least 12 different beverages. They have a wide array of desserts and Filipino snacks. It's a great place for family bonding and a great place to get together with your friends and workmates. Everyone will definitely find a dish that they'll like!

The ambiance of the place is also nice! It's clean and spacious. The restroom, dining hall, open kitchen and food displays are well maintained. The staff are nice and hospitable. Be sure to come on time and plan a reservation 2 days before your visit.

Good thing that they now have more food choices than our first visit. I really enjoyed their oyster, balut ala pobre, siomai, sushis and makis and mashed potato.

Personally, Vikings in SM Megamall is better :))

Food quality is not as good as before.... AND no more "3-days-before-3-days-after" birthday promo.

now its:
1) bithday month: celebrant eats for free anyday of the birthday month if they bring 4 full paying adults
And
2) birth-day: celebrant eats for free on the day of his birthday with 1 full paying adult.

They almost have everything and unlike other buffet, everything is so good and fresh. The only lowdown is it's a bit pricey for me but if you are a sushi monster and steak lover it's a bargain!
