So, I've been to this resort last November 2016 and I must say that this was one of my best getaways this year. This resort has very relaxing atmosphere with a taste of Santorini. We booked the Villa with private infinity pool access, where we have our private pool right in front of our villa, no need for us to walk downstairs to reach the long infinity pool that's mostly used by everyone in the resort. The best place to hangout is ofcourse by the pool. Across the vitalis villas is the vitalis white sands, where you have access to their white sand beach.. They have water sports and activities like jetski, kayak, paddle boats and banana boats. We also loved their dishes.. We had buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Yes you read it right, BUFFET! I recommend you to take advantage of their freshly caught seafoods.. (Mouth-watering)

The resorts becomes very much like Santorini at night, so lovely, when all the lights are turned on. The resort is mostly covered with white and a hint of blue. Even their curtains though it's design is very much like Santorini..

Also, all the rooms have a veranda to enjoy the ocean view.

One of its many attractions is the mini zoo that hosts a few animals, including zebras, camels, donkeys and Shetland ponies.

Overall, I enjoyed the resort. All the staff were very accomodating. Will definitely come back here soon!!!

Thanks for reading my review. ;)

A taste of Santorini, Vitalis Villas is located in Sabangan, Santiago, Ilocos Sur with great views of the bay and ocean. They have a lot of water activities and sport such as jet ski, kayak, banana boat and beach volleyball. You can ride the free shuttle going to the other resort.

It was just unbelievably beautiful. The price for a villa was steep but it comes with full board buffet meals. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Beach was so so but the pool was the runaway winner in this place.

I love this place so muchhh!!!!it is not yet fully operational and construction is still in progress so, there is not much to talk about in terms of facilities. Despite the fact tho, the place proved to be a truly enjoyable experience. It is a place that will take you to the Greek Island of Santorini. Despite of a long trip going to ilocos vitalis resort and spa was the best and snabi ko na sainyo. Worth it lahat ng heavy traffic and long trip #5ksummergiveaway

This Santorini-sh resort in Santiago, Ilocos Sur is indeed an eye-catcher. The construction is still in progress but you can see how outstanding it already is. Curious and excited, we went to visit the resort and to have lunch there. Their resort is split into two, one of which is where the Fisherman's Boat Grill is.

By 12:30 we were already at the said restaurant, and a few minutes after we have given our order. Almost an hour later, our order was still not served. We followed-up a few times since we've waited too long and we were already hungry, only to be asked to wait again as they were already allegedly setting-up. They served one dish, the Kamote leaves I guess, to make it look like the other dishes were coming up but then no. They made us wait longer until finally, our food was served at 2pm. Among those we ordered were the boodle set and a SIZZLING sisig. I can literally touch the sisig plate and not get burnt, nor feel anything at all, that the raw egg on top of the sisig didn't even cook when mixed. But what disappointed most was the "spider web" (didn't know if we identified it correctly, please see picture attached) in the chicken adobo. It looked so gross that it was more than just a spider web, it had some black stuff on it. The situation was aggravated.

See, our food was served after more than an hour, in between those times were false promises of iced tea that were never served, dishes weren't hot, the supposedly sizzling sisig in no way was sizzling, and waiters were unapologetic. No proper explanation was ever given for the delay. Worse, 2 tables beside us were served first when in fact, we got there ahead of them. We were hungry and we had the whole afternoon planned for Visita Iglesia, which was delayed by this incident.

I am not posting this to malign Vitalis Resort. The resort is beautiful, I make it clear. The manager came to apologize as well. But what happened right here was just so disappointing. I just want others to know about the possible careless service their restaurant cannot handle very well. And to the resort, please be sanitary, orderly, and prompt. Value customer service to assure that customers will value you. Thank you.

In the end, we left peacefully but with empty stomachs. We didn't ask for food replacement or any complimentary. We only wanted lessons to be learned, and some accountability not only for us but for future customers who just want to have a good lunch by the beach.
