The quick weekend getaway!

This place first off was a little far, it's maybe the last resort along the coast on this side of Anilao. So the road ends up getting narrower as you go deeper in. The place is owned and managed by the same Vivere group in Alabang - so one can expect the same level of service and quality of amenities.

It's actually on a cliff side so rooms are distributed as you go down. We took the room on the ground floor - Elixir. The different rooms have a unique motif so you can stay in a new room when you go back.

I paid for the package with the full board meals, I thought that it was pretty expensive at first since it adds up to be about 1500 per meal. But upon getting here, I chose the hickory smoked pork ribs and it was really good. Serving itself was perhaps good for 2. I didn't even get to finish the mashed potatoes. For dinner, had a 250g tenderloin cut angus beef, it was cooked well - still juicy and succulent. The bfast was good too, a typical Filipino selection but each part of the buffet was cooked well - bacon flat and crispy, corned beef tasty and some fruits. Food for me was excellent!

Rooms were nicely designed, rain shower in a spacious lay out as the wash area is the entire length of the room. The lounge bed was so comfortable that we end up taking a nap despite wanting to go to the water. The main mattress itself was too soft for me, but I have scoliosis so that's my personal preference.

You already know that there's no real beach as it's Anilao but you can always rent a boat and go to one of the nearby islands. You can snorkel and kayak right in front of the resort with the gear they provide.

A really good experience for us, will go back in the future!

The place is a bit pricey and far but they will compensate it with superb service. Staff were very attentive, fast and professional. Food is good too! 128077128089127946128077

I'm in love with this place!! Hubdubs booked us for my birthday weekend and it was perfect!

I've never been to anilao and this was a good first. Being a boutique resort/hotel there were only a few guests and most of the time if was as if we had the place to ourselves. It was only during meal times where you'll see that the resort was quite booked.

The weather was a bit gloomy that weekend but it didn't dampen our stay. The ledge pool was so relaxing I really didn't mind not going to the beach for a swim. With a room beach front, I still got to enjoy the soothing sound of the waves waking me up and the beautiful sunrise in the horizon.

This being looloo I must not forget the food!
We had full board accommodations as is recommend since the place is quite isolated. And thank goodness it was full board... We were so full! Food was awesome. The seafood mains were fresh and perfectly cooked. The servings were real generous too.

I must not forget to mention the service. The resort staff were very helpful and attentive. I enjoyed the weekend too much it was hard to leave.

Want to go back!!!
