One of the simple joys in life is finding hole in the walls that satisfy diners both in taste and price. Volcanic grill is an exciting find around Bautista, Makati. It offers great food, great presentation, laid back dining, and scandalously affordable prices. Since it is a day before ash wed, I ordered the grilled liempo, pinakbet, and sinigang na baboy. The liempo was well cooked, quite moist, garnished with parsley bits, and served on wooden board. It only costs 99php! The Sinigang was drop dead sour, and it can start up an appetite! But the thing that i will never forget is their pinakbet. The best i had so far. And its only 65 bucks! Damn good eats with great laid back ambiance. They also have the best assortment of condiments, with local variations of vinegar infusions. I think this is why its called volcanic - their Hot array of sauces. Im very happy with this place, 5 stars!

This hole in the wall restaurant serves freshly cooked food that tastes great and is priced reasonably. I highly recommend their barbecue offerings coupled with a bucket of san miguel strong ice ;)
