It was an undefeated skyline atop a 5-star hotel facing the mountainous province of Rizal. Sure, I paid for the view. It was all worth it. Food vis-a-vis good convo about the gamut of things you can think of with this view is a pretty remarkable experience. Chasing nothing but wonders!

We make sure to visit Vu's during our stay in Marco Polo.
Ambiance: modern design and elegant place. Their alfresco is the best place, music is hip plus the view of city lights is noteworthy. I highly recommend this place when you visit Vu's.
Price: its understandable, quite pricey since its a bar in a hotel. For beers that we had its P195 per bottle. With free pica pica serve (mixed peanuts/ tofu)
Service: Attentive servers
P.s place has dimmed lighs. No decent photo

Walking around Ortigas to spot a nice place, we ended up what Marco Polo has to offer. To our surprise there was Comedy on its top floor resto, Vu. It’s fantastic view was paired with mini plates of fine bar food. The only downside were sizing.

Isn’t it nice to have a couple of drinks and snacks in the afternoon? It’s doubly nice when you have a view of the city. At Marco Polo Ortigas Manila, you’ll get just that, and might even get into that Aperitivo habit.
The place looked really sleek and classy. It’s the perfect venue to have some pre-dinner drinks and appetizers while watching the sun go down.
Ah…don’t you just love the change of colors come night time? It does gear one up to get ready for the rest of the night. Either one stays here for the view or more food, or head out into the bustling city, this Aperitivo habit could get a bit addicting.

Good view, just a nice place to chillax while overlooking the metro. Food not as good as the buffet they had at the lower floor but it's nice place to have a drink and unwind.

Place is located at 45th floor sky lounge of the Marco Polo hotel at pasig. Lounge is spacious, pleasant and has class! I like the bar outside the liquor cabinet that they put in there that's attractive! Music is not too loud place is cozy! Food is great. We ordered paella negra (don't judge, we haven't eat dinner yet) instead of ordering a traditional white rice with viand, we ordered the paella to make it more dramatic and to match the place atleast very few will know that we're eating rice chos! Hehe
. Paella is quite salty, I don't know maybe Because I used on lettuce diet for months and that's neutralize my taste buds! Anyway it's getting better when u get used to eat, habang tumatagal sumasarap! Love the beef salpicao
🏻 and the buffalo wings with blue cheese dipping. Ordered tequila frozen margarita to burn the calories hehe! Band is balladeer so don't expect them to sing pop songs! Price is not so expensive compare to gramercy and other bar. Is one of the luxurious bar I've ever been, and the price is just right!

With a stunning view of the Ortigas Business District, Vu's is probably one of the best places I've gone to have a drink. Unfortunately, it's also one of the most expensive... This is highlighted by the fact that Metrowalk is right across the street, and the alcohol there is like 6x cheaper. Anyway, I guess you pay for the experience and the view, but I'll likely wait a while before coming back. It's more of a special occasion place anyway.
Pictured above is the last toast with the entourage the night before the wedding. (Of course minus the bride)

Had one of our Corporate event here for our 1st toer partners. Booked the place from 6-12mn exclusive. Though we chose the menu, taste wise it was so-so nothing special. We didnt have any food tasting prior to the event. Service was ok, they're friendly and accommodating. They got a wonderful view of the city. But of course, 71 Gramercy's view is better since they're higher. I like the vibe and a cool place to hangout with friends.

Love the view of this place. Super chill. Affordable cocktails for 300 pesos for the price of a hotel

Vu's early in the morning!
It's usually a bar, which obviously opens at night... But since the main festivities will be held at the ballroom, this is the next place which can hold 500 people in staggered shifts...
So this is where we had breakfast, with food coming from Cucina (located at the 24th floor)... They had the usual suspects of proteins-- bacon, sausages, longganisa, tapa and ham... Various breads and fruits as well... Only with scrambled eggs though... Then they served very dry dollar pancakes... No brewed coffee either (3-in-1 lang)... But, then again, I can't complain since it's free!
All he servers really tried to keep up and kudos to them because they were just a few steps behind!
Lovely lovely view of the traffic of Ortigas!

Perfect place for chilling and lounging after work. Their wines are good and with Happy Hour from (i thinj) 330-830pm, you can't go wrong.
Their food are also quite good so we tend to spend quite a lot of time here after a long day's work.
Music differs everyday but so far, all have been fantastic.
Oh and did I mention a fantastic view of the East?

First time reviewing a bar since this critic rarely goes into one. Guess time and being a parent does that to you. It doesn't stop you from having a great time with your partner. The place reminded me of Gramercy but more plush. It had a great view of the Ortigas area, spectacular sound system and a huge video wall with eye popping visuals. Had some very tasty coffee and churros first before getting some alcoholic beverages. If your a female and is looking forward to getting a bit tipsy drop by on a Wednesday so you can available the all you can drink of your choice for roughly 500++. The Ambrosia (on the pic) is highly recommended. Their availability of imported beer on a weekday was plus as well. Sounds played were vivacious modern and just plain alleviates your stress. A pleasant surprise from this hotel fronting Metrowalk. Price wasn't bad as well since everything just cost less than P1500! A tantric wonderful experience with a skillful DJ and sophisticated interiors.
