I stayed at home the whole saturday after a stressful friday night. I only had korean cup noodles for lunch since im so lazy to go out and its raining hard.

So when we went out for dinner the traffic was non existence, going here was easy breezy, parking was another story though, basement parking was so tight.

Order their bestseller salted egg chicken and seafood cheese tofu. Both were superb and not expensive. 128522

We were craving Japanese for late lunch but unfortunately Omakase wouldn't open until 530 PM 128532 Since Josh loves Sweet and Sour Pork, we've resorted to Chinese food.

I'm not really into anything sweet and sour so I had to order dim sum for myself. Hakaw and Pork Siomai were decent but nothing really special. Half way through our meal, Josh decided to order a bowl of their Seafood Green Soup. Boy, the serving was huge! 128561 I already had few pieces of dim sums dipped into chili garlic so I didn't appreciate my first gulp on the soup. After I lost the spicy taste, the soup turned out to be good. 128077čĆ╝

Ordered hainese chicken rice set

I was surprised as the chicken was cooked perfectly ... Even the breast was not dry it was soft tender juicy... It was almost perfect except they had to put a brown sweet sauce. I thin this is to appeal to local customers? Excellent nonetheless . Way better than the ones from a franchise brand from singapore...

This review is so long overdue I almost couldn't find the photo. 128514 Anyways, had lunch here in between errands! 128522 I ordered the beef with broccoli and my mom had the Hainanese chicken. Both our orders came with unlimited rice and soup 128077

It was actually not bad for 209! They have generous servings and the flavors are definitely there. We also tried their siomai and hakao. Their siomai wasn't that good, it had a bit of a malansa flavor. Their hakao was okay, but not the best I've tried.

Overall, this is actually a good place to have affordable Chinese food! 128076

Since I am a fan of Chinese/Singaporean cuisine, and Wangfu is an easy place to go to from work, I usually end up eating here.

I love their Hainanese Chicken, Sweet & Sour Pork, Cereal Prawns and Chili Potato Sticks! A bit pricey for me with not much generous servings but I am satisfied with the taste. Mango Kachang as dessert is perfect with smoothly scraped ice.

Will go back always.

Ordered the following - Yang Chow Fried Rice, Black Pepper Beef, Hainanese Chicken and Singapore Mango Fish Fillet.

It's your regular Chinese comfort food, nothing spectacular.

I thoroughly enjoyed their Milo Godzilla though. It's an upgrade from the Milo Dinosaur with the addition of vanilla ice cream. And I liked their version more than Toast Box's. It just has the right "timpla".

It was an enjoyable meal at Wangfu with the Bf and the BFF. We ordered beef noodles, pepper chicken, and dimsum (siomai, sharksfin and hakaw). We had superb drinks too, only the mango drink had the picture.

We loved everything we ordered specially the dimsum which were better than most. We didn't catch the dimsum discount though. The noodles were had ample toppings as well. The bf loved the pepper chicken and said it would go really well with beer. Damage was less than 1k.

Sir Chief did a good job on this one.

Have always been a fan of singaporean food. Wangfu cafe is the low end version of wangfu bistro. I love their laksa but their hainanese chicken was nothing special. Cereal prawn was also good this is one of my fave. Overall good not just that special.. :)

I'm sorry to say, but I'm not going to return to this restaurant. First up, it took them ten minutes and two follow ups to serve our drinks. Then twenty minutes later, we follow up our meal and none of the staff could answer us about its status. The groups that came in ahead of us were served before us so my family and I decided to walk out. We were not asked to pay for the drinks but that was a very nasty experience.

This restaurant used to be our favorite cus they offer great food for affordable price and they once offer Fookien Rice, all the while we thought they're going to include this yumeeh rice on the menu but sadly, it only lasted for like months then, they that's it! gone for good. Sayang!

But, will I come back to this place again? Possible.

Your typical Chinese food but man everything tasted like it was smothered in MSG or salt O.O The dessert also tasted odd... Nice staff though so can't really give this 1 star.

Not the branch co-owned by Sir Chief. 128542
Crucnhy Cereal Shrimp is delectable, could have been crunchier though.

Ordered the following:
Hainanese Chicken: Flavorful, tender chicken. One of the best I've tried. You won't need a lot of the ginger sauce and soy sauce for this one.

Crunchy Sweet & Sour Pork: Nice, not hard to chew, but I was hoping for more 'crunch.' The good thing is that there are lots of meat and less fat. Looked plain and simple but tasted good.

Salted Fish Fried Rice: Not bad, but I've tasted better.

Singapore Mango Fish Fillet: This reminded me of Tao Yuan's Singapore Mango Lapu-Lapu. Very good combination of sweet and sour.

Cold Milk Tea (Teh Tarik): If you've tried milk tea in HK or SG, you'll be disappointed with this one. A bit too diluted? I dunno. It was okay, but seeing 'teh tarik' on the menu made me expect more.

All in all, Wang Fu Maybe not your top-of-the-line Chinese/Singaporean restaurant, but their dishes are good, certainly enjoyable, and not so expensive either. I'd like to go back and try their cereal prawns and Geylang chili beef.

We were a group of 9 and we came in on a Tuesday evening. There were only a couple of tables occupied so it was a good call for our large group. The place has a good ambiance and friendly staff! They have Singaporean cuisine but too bad their dimsum was no longer available. At 7pm, they sold out! No hakaw for me :(

The satay bihon was lovely and full of sahog. Reminded me of the authentic taste of noodles in SG or HK. I loved the crunchy sweet and sour pork. It's a must-try! Better than most restaurants'. Also, you can never go wrong with yang chow fried rice so make sure you order! The garlic Taiwan pechay can also come with oyster sauce, just tell the staff. However, I didn't like the mango fish fillet that much because it tasted bland. The cereal prawns were ok but too small for my liking. It's normally spicy but you can ask them for a less spicy one. Lastly, their jasmine tea is refillable. I expected no less from a Chinese caf├ę!

There were a lot of other dishes on the menu that I swear would've tasted great! Will definitely come back to this place and i recommend it to those who are craving for good Asian Fusion food (they were more Singaporean than Chinese to me, haha). I also like how all dishes are reasonably priced so again, that's a ++ for me! 128516127844

P.S. Their servings are large! Good for 2-3 people but it can easily feed one more person especially if not everyone are heavy eaters.
