Came to eat here for dinner last Sunday. Place was clean but my cousin said the toilet was smelly. My first time here but we go to the branch in Il Terrazo more often. We ordered the chicken mushroom soup (clear broth) and i give a thumbs up for this. We also had their french beans which was also good but could use less salt/soy sauce but could be just right if we ate it with rice. We were on a diet hahaha so we did not order rice. Ordered the bacon enoki roll. Also on the salty side. Wr ordered another dish wasabi prawn i think. This one was ok. And of course a trip to wangfu is not complete without their ice kachang! I think the branch in IL terrazo serves better kachang but more choices of food here in this branch. I have not tried their laksa here but have it several times in IL Terrazo and definitely thumbs up. Just the right amount of spice for me but not for my friend who broke into a sweat.

That Singapore Style Salted Egg Crab was delicious! But it isn't in this photo. 128514 The rest were good, too!

After my dental appointment i was so hungry. Tried to check A Singaporean based resto in Timog but surprisingly it was closed already and i am really craving for Laksa Noodles.

I checked LooLoo for recommendations for some asian specialty chain and read Wangfu is just nearby.

We ordered Laksa, Fish fillet with mango sauce, beef in pepper sauce, salted fish fried rice. Teh tarik and Milo Godzilla for drinks, the ones we used to have when we were in Singapore and KL.

Laksa is on the super spicy side 128560 but passed on my liking or i just craved for it lang talaga. The fish fillet with mango sauce and beef in pepper sauce is so so and nothing special about it. Salted fish fried rice doesn't pass on my taste buds. Bland, oily and no salted fish at all.

I do not like the Teh Tarik, it is just Jasmin tea ( i can taste and smell it coz i am a tea adict) with milk on it, Milo Godzilla is yumminess and creamy 128077

Chinese cuisine has always been my favorite. I almost tried every Chinese restaurant here in Manila.

Pork Asado (Php 248)
The meat was so tender and fresh. This is one of my all time favorite dish. I tell you, I was not disappointed!

Hong Kong Style Beef Curry (Php 368)
This is so good. It's so tender and flavorful. The taste still lingers on my mouth!

Their ambience is well lit and very spacious, giving you that over all relaxed feel which is rare in an affordable Chinese restaurant.

I recommend you to try their Salted Egg Fried Chicken and Pork Asado. Enjoy their delicious food

The interiors of the place is really impressive especially their chandeliers and modern furnitures. The menu has a good selection, the food tastes good with equally good serving proportions.

Salted Egg Fried Chicken (Php 348)
the smell of salted eggs in this just makes me salivate and one bite is good enough to make me hanker for more. It's crunchy and I can definitely taste the salted egg in the breading.

Traditional Ice Kachang (Php 138)
This distinctive part of the ice Kachang showered all over the colorful mound of ice, which is flavoured with syrup, red bean and sweet corn. They are also very generous with their serving
Best way to help you cool off heat and satisfy your sweet cravings.

Iced Singapore Milk Tea (Php 78)
The warm temperature today made the milk tea drink quite refreshing. It's actually among the more affordable ones for the size, we've had come to think of it.

Overall, our dining experience at Wangfu Chinese Bistro wasn't extraordinary but good. Their prices are also very competitive and quite affordable, if you consider the serving size.

For everyone who is a food lover and a fan of Chinese Cuisine, this is a must-try restaurant.

I was around the area, that is why me and my cousin decided to give Wang Fu a try.

Hainanese Chicken
one of the restaurant's specialty. As expected from Hainanese chicken, the meat was super soft, tender and oozing with juices. And when eaten with rice and dipped in the ginger, chili and dark soy sauces, this was one succulent and flavorful dish we can't get enough of.

Traditional Ice Kachang
is a must try, a tower of iced shaved ice with a syrup. You wont want to miss it! It’s a Singaporean-Malaysian combination of Pinoy halo halo and mais con yelo. It's not too sweet and has a delicate creaminess and refreshing flavor. Children will surely love it!

Plus, their buffet or feast all you can is pretty good catch as for only Php 399, one can munch on these delicacies. I personally enjoyed their Dimsum since they have my favorites.

The facilities is nice, the food is so-so and the service is undisputedly the WORST that i have experienced.

We ordered the Singaporean package which cost 6k. They served food that wasnt in the package. They were asking us to charge it to our account. We not knowing touched the food but was abruptly taken from the table. Plus the waiter was bussing out the table with all the sauces drooling over the floor. And knowing the type of floor thy have is slippery when wet.

I'm disappointed especially paying for a 10% service charge that wasnt rendered properly. Am surprise of their audacity to charge this especially if the service isnt great. They could have provided a better impression if at first they knew how to seat guest.

Food was either too sweet or sweet. Hehehe. But the ambiance was nice but this couldnt pull the so-so experience we had on the Bistro (really this is a bistro standard?)

I had my misgivings going to this place having read the reviews here. But i still wanted to give it a try. I should have heeded to the caveat given by reviewers here.

We decided to eat there partly because Mr. Richard Yap is one of the owners. We went there at around 2pm, which was just in time for their promo - 40% off on all dimsum.

We ordered Fried Rice with Shrimp and Scallops, Sigapore Style Fried Spareribs, Salt and Pepper Fried Chicken, bokchoy in oyster sauce, an assortment of dimsum, and Ice Kacang.

I had high hopes for this restaurant considering the high pricing of the food and the ambience of the place, but unfortunately, the food failed to impress us. The entrees were okay - there are a lot of authentic Chinese restaurants that have really good food that are much cheaper. The dimsum skin was unpleasantly chewy and sticky when cooled - probably from the dough being overworked. The redeeming dish of the meal was the Ice Kacang. We really liked the variety of colors and flavors as well as the jelly and beans that came with it.

They should work on improving the food and should start serving house tea, an essential part of every Chinese meal.

Don't let the thick wrapper of the hakaw fool you. It holds inside plump pieces of moist shrimp. They have a special 40% off promo on all dimsum items from 9pm till midnight. At less than 60 pesos per order, the hakaw is a winner! The other items were nothing special though like the siomai and crystal balls. The spareribs were too fatty. Remember: just order the hakaw.
