Loved their salt & pepper spareribs P275 and fried rice P225 both good for sharing. Their beef with sate sauce tasted too bland even though it was the most expensive thing we ordered. They sell rice by the cup but it was cooked in chicken broth.

The dessert was delish! Their 3-piece chocolate truffle buchi was pretty rich with three different kinds of melted chocolate inside.

This is one of our daughter's favorite restaurants in Glorietta (the other two being Pancake and Teriyaki Boy). Kids rule nowadays, and they pick wherever they want to eat.
We ordered hainanese chicken (delicious) and mixed vegetables (my wife liked it!(
Recommend you try their mantou bread dipped in condensed milk. Super crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and served very hot. Much better than a honey glazed doughnut IMO :D

Love their hainanese chicken rice! Their three flavor chocolate truffle buchi is divine! Not a fan of buchi but this one's really good!

One of those days with random cravings again!

The first time I dined here, I found the foods really satisfying and I've been meaning to go back here for quite a time.

So after some book shopping, my brain kind of told my tastebuds to crave for Wee Nam Kee's Hainanese Chicken. And since it has been long since the first time, I went here for lunch (alone).

This branch is spacey compared to Ayala Triangle (where I dined the first time), it was empty too that time so it was just me and the staff. They're so quiet! It was quite worrisome, haha, idk, but they're polite and they catered my needs naman. What I didn't like lang was this guy who kept on mopping, e the place was clean enough naman. 128530

I had personal set of combined roasted and steamed chicken and fried rice. The serving was really big, even though personal set, it's still good for sharing. Plus they only have fried rice for sharing. This may be what I hate about most Asian restaurants, most foods in the menu are for sharing, and I mostly dine alone. *forever* 128542

Servings' not the most important thing though. The chicken was soft but it lacked in flavor, it was bland and the fried rice was too oily, I looked like I applied lip gloss after eating. Although this experience isn't the worst, I think this branch needs improvement.

Dinner at Wee Nam Kee last saturday night. 128131 I'm not really excited but good thing we still tried this place out. Their food were all good and not so expensive! 128077

The birthday noodles was good and super daming sahog! It's not your usual chinese pancit canton! 128513

Lechon Kawali = Puro taba. So they enjoyed it. A LOT. 128527

Sweet and sour fish fillet was okay. There were a lot of fish fillet but the taste was just normal. Usual.

What I enjoyed the most was their Roasted Chicken set. We ordered the personal set. We were surprised since serving size was big so we were still able to share it. The chicken was really tasty, cooked perfectly and I enjoyed every bite of it! 128076 I like this one more than Toast Box's. 128513

And btw, their house tea is reaaaaally good! 128077

First, I want to commend this branch for their prompt service. My food was served within less than ten minutes! It's a huge plus for me and my perpetually hungry tummy.

I order the White Chicken Rice Personal Set, and I must say I am satisfied with the taste. It's not exactly the same as the one from Singapore but it's good enough if you're craving. The rice was less oily but the soy sauce in the chicken has a faint sweet taste. It would taste closer to the authentic chicken rice if they used a lighter soy sauce.

Overall, I am one satisfied customer. Will definitely come back in this branch. Better than Ayala Triangle Branch :) happy!

I have heard harsh reviews from my friends for this restaurant but I had to try it for myself. It was a HUGE MISTAKE to try this on a Sunday Family Day :(

The hainanese chicken was dry and bland. Tao Yuan's is way tastier. 2.5/5

The Cereal Prawns were too sweet for our taste. Our family is a huge fan of prawns and this is the first time that none of us wanted to get the last piece! 2/5

Prawn Roll Beancurd something - TALO! Dang! Harina kung harina! Just don't. 0/5

Crispy Noodles - this dish was too salty! 0.5/5

When our bill was handed, it was more than 5,000 pesos! It's like adding vinegar to an open wound!
WTH?!

Our bill in Todd English Food Hall did not even reach 4,000 pesos, dalawang tao lang ang hindi nakasama nun from this same group!

Never again!

Oh ginger sauce 128525 i only eat Hainanese chicken because of you!

In fairness to the dish 128539 it was good, but the chicken is too thin! I barely had enough meat to sink my teeth into! Also loved the three chocolate buchi 9786️ (now am missing XO Chicken... 128563)

Looking for hainanese chicken? Then try this. The chicken itself is good and add it with the right combination of spices/sauces and it becomes great.

Tried their kangkong side dish and didn't find it amazing so don't bother.

Average value for money. I'm not a big fan of hainanese and I feel you can easily cool this, if you have the skill and patience to learn, or find other places who serve similar.

If you love Hainanese Chicken, this is the place to go. What sets it apart is that uses the famed Yellow Chicken, known as the Angus or Wagyu of beef, or the Kurobata of pork. This is a specially imported chicken fed only with corn to give that yellow, tender and juicy meat.

Tasting their Hainanese Chicken will erase all bad experiences you have with this classic dish such as bland, dry, tasteless, boring, etc. Indeed, not all hainanese chicken are created equal! This is the real deal, cooked to perfection just like the original store in Singapore.

The meat was so juicy, tender and flavorful, and was perfect with the chilli sauce, ginger sauce, and kecap manis. The cucumber slices and light soy sauce were the chicken seats also is not to be wasted, and is perfect to add to the rice. Did I say that the accompanying rice, cooked in chicken fat, broth and ginger, was also heaven? The complimentary chicken broth was also excellent, and really tasted natural from the boiled chicken. Enjoying Hainanese chicken rice really is a combination of the boiled chicken, the three dipping sauces, cucumber slices, the infused rice, and the broth. Missing one will not round the whole experience.

We also ordered my other favorite Singaporean dishes such as cereal prawns (where I find the cereal too sweet), the coffee pork ribs (where the meat was a bit tough, and the taste too bitter), and the kailan vegetable in oyster sauce (where garlic would have been a better choice). In other words, they were just average.

If ever, you must go, just have the hainanese chicken set, and you are solved! Wee Nam Kee is certainly the best place for this Singaporean classic dish.

I want to change my lunch eating habit..instead of going to my pre loved unhealthy fast-food where I have to spend 170 to 200 pesos. Then, why not go to healthy restaurants that have the same spending value? I had a Hainanese chicken personal set at Wee Nam Kee for only Php 188! It tastes so good, finely steamed chicken and loved the cucumber and greens under and on top of it. The complimentary sauces DIY concoctions superbly suits my chicken. I remember my Singapore food experience.

All the dishes we ordered did not pass the standards I have for Asian food. The quality of the Chicken was awful, its wings had a slight tinge of grey. The Tofu Sizzling Plate was too oily.

To add to that, they had slow service and per flies flying around. Haha.

Sorry, wasn't able to take photos anymore. Hungry na eh... Hahaha

We all love this place, hubby and in-laws. I suggested this place since sis-in-law wanted to treat us since it was her birthday month.

Service wise? Food was served in about 10-15 mins after we ordered. Food quality? Yummy! We got roasted hainanese, yang chow fried rice, baby squid and hot prawn salad. Our tummies' were full and satisfied.

PS. They are generous with the Senior Citizen disc, since we have 3 SC's. 128077

For this particular visit, my dad and I decided to try their Lechon Kawali and their Stir-fried Kangkong, along with their Hainanese Chicken.
As always, the chicken was well-cooked and perfectly seasoned despite its pale color. The pure chicken flavor could only be accentuated by the ground ginger, sweet soy sauce, and chili sauce, the mixture of the three is up to your liking.
The lechon kawali was tender and pulled apart easily. It was so juicy and tasty, Dad and I had to restrain ourselves from indulging.
The kangkong dish was the icing on the cake of what I thought was already a fantastic meal.
As for the soups, Dad got the Sichuan hot and sour soup, perfect for those who have higher tolerance for spicy food. I, on the other hand, went for the Sweet Corn Soup, which was filling by itself.
Soups are served in individual bowls. The proteins and vegetables are good for sharing between 2-3 persons. Personal sets for the hainanese chicken are also available.
