I was really craving for laksa soup after having them for 3 days straight! 128514 So my boyfriend, my mom and I were really hungry and it was Saturday so for sure all the restos were fully booked. I saw a picture of laksa soup here in Wee Nam Kee so we decided to try here.

We ordered hainanese chicken, beef noodles and laksa. My mom ordered the beef noodles and it was good but she is bias to Kim Yong that is located in Binondo. 128514128514 I was the one who ordered laksa and to my surprise their soup was delicious! Grabe sobrang sarap! I can taste the coconut milk which for me when having laksa this ingredient should be tasted! Their serving was huge I think it's for 2-3 persons. My howe asked for another bowl of laksa soup. It was really goood. One of the best!

With their hainanese chicken, I think it would be better if you guys order their soy chicken. For me the hainanese chicken was bland or maybe that's how they really cooked it.

I will never ever forget their laksa. Finally I've found another laksa since Secret Recipe in SM Megamall is no longer there :(

After a stressful day cleaning the condo, we decided to go to trinoma. Even on a rainy Saturday, travel was fast but parking was horrendous. We went around and not noticing the time, it was 9pm already. The nearest restaurant was Wee Nam Kee. We haven't tried it before so we decided to try. We had wee Nam Kee Fried Rice, Hot and Sour Soup for me, Roasted Chicken, Cereal Prawns and Salt and Pepper Spareribs.

First stop I had the Hot and Sour Soup. Ahh did it taste really good! I missed having this as my wife finds it too spicy. I lived it thw sourness and spiciness was there. The mushrooms and meat was complete. Soo yummy!

The fried rice was good and filling. The ingredients are there and not tipid. The roasted chicken was normal. i think I should have ordered the yellow chicken but as way more expensive and I wasn't in the mode for steamed food at the time. The Salt and Pepper Spareribs could have been abit spicier. Not much oomp in there. The Cereal Prawns was a big hit for my wife. I was only able to eat 1 piece. The taste though was quite different it was sweet crunch salty, all at the same time. I ate mine with the skin on.

I liked their service very accommodating except they forgot to give us the condiments for the chicken. Refills were done promptly for our iced teas. For the price, I think its a bit steep but pwede na rin.

We will be back definitely.

Lunch date with my mom today!128522

We were already seated at Cafe Shibuya because my mom wanted pasta... But when she tried to order three different things on the menu and all were not available, we got up and decided to transfer already... We had difficulty thinking about a restaurant, tbh... Trinoma really has to up it's restaurant game because SM North has a great new lineup of restos that really draws in the crowd...

On our way to Cafe Breton, I saw Wee Nam Kee and crossed my fingers as I suggested it to my mom... She was cool with it, so Wee Nam Kee it is!128515

This being a late lunch, we had the restaurant to ourselves... I ordered the Honey Crispy squid, my usual order here... My mom had the Sweef Marmite Pork, the pork being marinated in a thick, salty, soy sauce-like sauce (128514) according to our server... We also shared the pineapple fried rice with pork floss, which is a big serving but we fully intended to bring home the leftovers!128513

All our orders were great, though we did realize that all of them had a sweet and sour element... My mom loved the honey crispy squid! I think this was her first time to try it because I used to just keep ordering their cereal prawns... We both enjoyed it... Had a quiet and lovely lunch with my mom!128515128077

Talk about shrinking serving sizes!

Visited Wee Nam Kee a few weeks back with my bf... We have loved this restaurant for years... We just wanted some Honey Crispy Squid!

We were seated by the door in a very familiar environment... We ordered the Honey Crispy Squid, a staple for us... But we veered from our usual Cereal Prawns and Wee Nam Kee fried rice... We swapped the Salted Egg Fried Chicken and the pineapple fried rice with pork floss for the usual suspects...

When the squid came, we were both surprised! The order was about half as it used to be! Yikes! I mean it tasted the same but the portion size truly shrunk! The salted egg fried chicken was good! Not really salty, but the coating paired well with the fried chicken... We both loved the pineapple fried rice, a good choice for the salted egg fried chicken...

We were so full after our meal! It was so hard to call the servers about refills and the bill, but they were all polite... Other than the disappointing serving size, it was a good meal all in all!

Reviewing my backlogs from 2014.

Im not sure kung maluluha ba ko while writing this review. 128532 last date, last restaurant that we ate together and the saddest part last time na makikita kita. We've been together for almost 2 years. It was awesome. #hugot 128148 aaaannyyyywaay!

I believe i found my favorite asian restaurant before the year ended. Weenamkee is like your crush! Hindi nakakasawa. Hahaha #pbbteens 128143

As usual we ordered the yellow chicken. All time favorite. Then put some ginger on chicken rice. Winner talaga! Then we tried the pork marmite ribs. I swear ang sarap. Parang everything here are masarap. Except the pancit that i tried before. 128020128022

Second branch that I visited this December. Kahit medyo pricey okay lang. We spent 1k for a small order of yellow chicken, 3 chicken rice and pork marmite ribs. Not bad128077

After seeing Yina M eating the chili with mantou bread last Saturday, my bf suddenly craved for mantou too! While in Trinoma the next day (after eating at Wingstop), he asked to have dessert at Wee Nam Kee... I knew he just wanted the mantou bread with condensed milk... It's weird that this dish is part of their appetizers... This is a traditional Chinese dish, very popular all over Asia and associated with Singaporean food. Though mantou is traditionally steamed and served as an alternative to rice, it is just as delicious when fried and served with condensed milk... My bf is such a fan of this simple dish!128077128077128077

Ian was in sg last week and as I was feeling left out, we went to Wee Nam Kee for some chicken rice. The service was good and our servers were welcoming and attentive. But the chicken rice was a disappointment.

We ordered two personal sets of steamed chicken rice that came with soup. The soup was ordinary. The real disappointment was the chicken. The first serving had BLOOD in it still. We asked the server about it and they replaced the order. The chicken that came back looked better. But upon eating it however, we saw some bloody parts still, particularly near the bones. Even my part which is mainly breast had some bloody veins and pink parts. The rice was also just so-so. It was a little over-cooked and lacked the gingery flavor. Such a disappointment as we were really craving chicken rice.

I wanted to give this place 2 stars but the service was good and the crispy mantao was really nice. We were apprehensive at first but we were too curious. The mantao was basically fried and then you're supposed to dip it in condensed milk. We really liked it as the flavor and texture really worked. Crispy on the outside, soft inside and the condensed milk adds sweetness and creamy texture. It was indeed very nice.

It was just so disappointing about the chicken rice. Serving bloody chicken is a big no-no in my book. I have to say we won't be coming back.

**Also, the place looks nice enough but they serve their food in plastic plates and bowls. Another no-no for nicer places.

Tried this place. And I enjoyed it. The food, the service. But of course since it's inside the mall, they dont have their own toilet so you have to go outside.

Hainanese chicken 4.5/5

Soup 4.5/5 (we thought its for free haha! Ending we got charged a lot)
We were three when we came here, but my colleagues consumed soup as if it's a bottomless drink. Haha! 128184128299

Chicken w salted egg something (sorry I forgot the name)
My friend love this food but, I didn't like it like she did. 2.5/5

Kai Lan 4/5
I'm biased here because I am a veggie eater. But it's fresh & as of what I remember, crunchy naman.

Mantou 4.5/5

Hainanese Chicken is really good - plain or roasted. Try it with the sauce. I put a lot of ginger. The Chicken Rice is flavorful.

The Crispy Cereal Prawns is another favorite.

Good food, but their food prices are expensive as their servings are too small and is only good for two persons per order which doesn't seems to be your money's worth.

Hainanese chicken is a fave. If it's on the menu, you can be sure I will order it 128076. I can finish the half 128513. Sakto! This resto so far never failed me. I hope it won't ever. Especially my hainanese 128516.

p.s. Most servings are meant to be shared 128515.

We had our late lunch here after buyin some christmas gifts. The place is small and a bit hot. When we arrived, we were third on the waiting list but we didn't wait for too long. In 10 minutes we were seated. We ordered the famous hainanese chicken and roasted chicken combination, pork asado, kangkong and wee nam kee fried rice. The chicken tastes good I felt i was eating a hainanese chicken in singapore. It had the same taste plus their pork asado was yummy also especially the sauce. The kangkong, just soo soo since it was just cooked in oyster and garlic but I still liked it since im a fan of kangkong hehe. On the down side, -1 star for their service coz they dont smile and they dont look so approachable plus they are not attentive. I needed to call the waiter twice or more than just to refill the sodas and water and to get the bill. Gahh i hope they can improve with that one. Thank goodness, I enjoyed the food. Next time i'll go back and try the cereal prawns. 128516

Oh yes! Nothing like good Singaporean food (uhmmm did I name it right?) I had dinner at Wee Nam Kee with my friend last week and oh boy im stuffed!

Service wise, i guess it's alright. I can't really assess how fast the service is when their store is packed. Coz in our case, we were the last customers. They were about to close when we came.. So i guess service was good. :) lol

We ordered the BBQ Pork Asado, Roasted Chiken, and they're Wee Nam Kee Fried Rice.. 128525128525 and it was to die for! I really love their asado and chicken especially when dipped in the ginger sauce. *drools* The fried rice was packed with ingredients, you can really see several pieces of shrimp and ham in there. (Kanin palang ulam na!)

As much as I wanted to give them 5stars, I removed a star because of one staff gave us the "pakibilisan kumain" look... >.< she was very uneasy and kept looking at us while we're eating.. Yeah I know the store's about to close but it's not our fault they accepted customers minutes before closing... 128530128530 Oh well! Hahaha...

1st time to try this restaurant here at Trinoma. Was looking for a not so crowded place and chanced upon this for lunch. I ordered their signature dish - Roasted Chicken Rice Personal Set at 168 pesos. Chicken was absolutely divine and the meal has a complimentary soup which makes it well-rounded. Would recommend as good eat but place is hot and too warm for my inconvenience.
