I still can't believe that I was here a few weeks ago. 128522 and I still can't believe that I'm willing to come back here - again!

My memories are still fresh with what I just saw - the dancing corals, the colorful fishes, nemo, dolphins, it was a whole different world under the sea 128032

If the sea were a bit calmer that time, it would have been a blast! But whatever we still had the time of our lives 128077🏻128513

A place something you would see in a magazine. So my cousin Sam reserved a boat for us for only 2,000 pesos which is pretty cheap since boats in Mactan would usually cost about 5k. The boat would take us to 4 areas around Moalboal and they provide you with snorkels already so that we could free dive. The first place we went to was like on the edge of the corals or on the trench area where you can see a wide variety of fish and colorful corals. Definitely something really picturesque. After about a thousand pictues we head to an area where you can see a sardine run just like the one's you can find in Australia or in the movie Finding Nemo. Literally thousands and thousands of sardines were all grouped just a few meters below your feet! It's pretty amazing to see a large number of fish just grouped up and swimming around together like a wave. The guides said that they do this as a defense mechanism. Next we went to an island where we would see a more diverse group of fish and corals. On our way there we stumbled upon some dolphins! Too bad they didn't jump off the water or something so we could see them better. On the island our boat driver caught some of the fish and put them in a bucket for us to touch and see more closely. Here we got to feed te fish and there we saw some clownfish and some 'Dory' from Finding Nemo. The last island we went to was off the coast of Talisay that our guide said we would hope to find some turtles! He said that there's a small chance we would find some at that time we went to since we booked the trip at 10am. The 6am trip is the time where you could find several and large sized turtles. When we got there we saw two turtles but they were already swimming away and too far enough to take a clear picture. Then there was one turtle that was just staying on a coral so one of the chaperons dove and grabbed te turtle but it swam away. The trip all in all was a very fun and unique experience. I think the 6am trip would have been better because of the turtles, but then you'd have to wake up at 2am because the place is about 3 hours away from the city
