We celebrated my baby's 4th bday (and no, I'm not some crazy lady inventing my pups birthday & age128527) here and I'm so happy he enjoyed everything. We tried their waffos for ourselves and it was pretty ok. Nothing worth raving about though but our guests seemed to enjoy it though. I mean, The establishment is after all for our beloved pets, right? I'd say The staff are all very accommodating except they still lack a bit if "snappiness" in them, like they'd forget to give us plates and cutlery and would take longer than expected for them to hand over these considering the place is like around 30sqm? But they are kind naman so nothing too annoying. Btw, The dog food came in bowls along with their water and a spoon, it's so cute and fun to feed them in the table plus you meet other pet owners and end up having a fun chat with them too.

Actually, I've been a client for a few years already by whole pet kitchen, way even she started the restau and frankly I'd say they've done better as years goes by. I remember ordering stuff and my babies weren't too interested in them but now, they all enjoyed it and finished everything we ordered for them so there must be some improvement in tge taste hehe

I love the concept and the advocacy of feeding our pets wholesome food and I do hope they can open other branches closer to home so it would be easier to bring along more dogs with me next time 128513128054128151

Tyler turns two 9996! Our barkada's baby boy barkday. Since there's a little celebration for him and invited some pets and their owners, my friend bought foodies for the pets at whole pet kitchen. The crew is so knowledgeable about the ingredients of the food they offer. She even showed us some designs of the pre order cakes so that my friend can have an idea next time, warmed the foods we ordered and do the lettering for the small cakes on the spot.

In the photo are: Jack's lasagna, beef and veggie balls, 3pcs of small paw cake and banana and liver muffins. Treats are gifts from the guests 128522. I think the dogs liked their food most especially the liver muffins. 128517

I tried it too, hahahah 128586 their goodies aren't just for pets, you guys, they use the same ingredients (healthy and without preservatives and chemicals) used for preparing meals for humans din e haha. So to all the parents of our furry friends, this store is highly recommended, they offer a variety of products from treats to cakes and muffins. Owsum owsum owsum!128525

Their lasagna actually got my stomach upset.. My dog, however, devoured Jack's lasagna and his paw cake.

Very cute concept :) better if they were located somewhere like bhs so we can walk our pets after a good meal.

A clean and cozy place to enjoy savory eating with your dog. Food options for dogs are as plenty as for humans, for dine-in and take out. 128522

Got my dog a Jack's lasagna and take home chicken and veggie muffins and she loved both!

For humans, Lalalasagna and Bone-y Eclair are a must-try.

I've been a regular customer since last year. They started their business online, and when I learned that they'll open an actual shop I got really excited.128522

This year I decided to celebrate my baby Pickles' and Nutmeg's birthday at their shop.127874 Good thing Ms. Giannina advised me to drop by as early as I could since it was a holiday (May 1) and a lot of people had expressed their intent of visiting the shop. So we did.

We arrived a few minutes before 10am, just almost the same time Ms. Giannina arrived. The place is very cozy and well decorated. It's kinda small, but good enough to accommodate 8-10 people. We were 8 in our group so we occupied the 2 big tables.128516

I ordered their lalalasagna and citrus cooler. The lasagna was really good!128523 I could have finished two but I decided not (because I don't have money anymore haha). Their citrus cooler is their best selling drink so I gave it a try. No doubt it is a best seller. It really quenched my thirst.128077 I was also able to take a bite of my sister's double choclit a la mode woofles. It was so good! I wanted to have more but it was hers and again I don't have money to buy myself one anymore haha128518

The place is really clean, and Pickles & Nutmeg were able to roam around freely. I love how the staff and Ms. Giannina were very acommodating of us and of our babies.128054

For sure I'd drop by again to have some mommy-baby bonding, and to try their other dishes. Definitely a must-try place for a pet lover like me.12805410084128522128077

Super love this place! If your a pet lover, then definitely this is the best hangout place that you could find.

My bf and friends brought their buddies along to have a mini doggie bonding..it was really nice to see them roaming and playing around the restaurant w/o any worries since the place is a bit small..

As for the food, they have a lot of savory doggy/cat food to choose from,of course they also have menu for pet owners too..we only got to try the lasagna and it was really good..our pets also tried their doggy version of lasagna..the prices were just right..

Located at Recto Street,San Juan..

The place was quaint, can sit I guess 3-4 dogs, max 5 small dogs. When I came there's a retriever, a lab, a chihuahua, a pekingese, a shitzu and two other dogs I didn't get to take a good look at coz their between their hoomans and covered by the table. It was already a full house.

The staff said I'm the first bulldog to visit. There were very few items on the menu that are grain-free. And my hoomans were not sure how I will react to the ingredients so they just got me yogurt.

I also had better service in none dog themed restaurants like Puccini so the place is just okay for me.

Hoomans please research their food first so the next time we visit, I can eat more than just yogurt.

Other Hs please don't bring dogs if they're in heat, not toilet trained, they bite, or if their hoomans are too weak to control them. The place is just too small for a ruckus.

Its a first in the country for a dog cafe. However the place is so small it only has 3 tables and its already jampacked considering its only 10 am on a Sat. Also, the owner seems to be not pet friendly because she told us that we should not allow our dogs to pee on their floor. Hello! They are dogs and we can't control what they do. They even expect us to clean it! Good thing we brought our own wee wee pad. If you will cater to pets expect their behavior. They are not humans.

Got their citrus cooler! Tasted refreshingly good. I think they used calamansi together with some cucumber slices. Comes in a good presentation! My pup loved their liver muffins! Pretty interesting place this is!

Before they close for the Holy Week, we decided to drop by the dog cafe with Summer. We ordered the risotto and Jack's Lasagna for her brunch, and we ordered the Beef & Veggie Meatballs to share with Jack.

For the humans, we ordered the same stuff as before but we were in for an unexpected treat. The store's owner, Gianina, treated us to one of their yummy bone eclairs. Pam likes this dessert more than the chocolatey waffle I had last time, but then I like that one over the eclair. Both quite yummy either way!

We were there before the crowd and that I guess made our stay all the more pleasant. Looking forward to when we can go back there again with Summer! :)

Who would've thought that we would find a dog cafe here in the metro? Yes, other countries have some, but here in the Philippines where pet-friendly establishments are scarce, you would think that it wouldn't happen any time soon. But lo and behold, here's Whole Pet Kitchen, to satisfy our pets' cravings.

It's beside Cafe Isabel, and owned by Chef Gene Gonzalez's daughter, Giannina. Before the cafe, they just used to deliver cakes/pastries for dogs. The place is quite small coz I think initially they just wanted it as a pick up place for cakes, but now that it officially opened as a dog cafe, it's always packed.

We went there on a Sunday, and the place was already full of dogs and pet parents. Our dog's a tiny shihtzu, and doesn't socialize too much, and he was a bit overwhelmed. Good thing Giannina's Golden Retriever Jack, was an effective host that our dog Chowder instantly liked him.

The menu's divided into 2, for humans and dogs. Since it's a dog cafe, the menu items for dogs outnumbered ours. Chowder's a sucker for anything liver-flavored, so we got him a slice of liver and cheese cake. He loved it. He also got a free treat from Giannina, which was so nice of her to do so.

But I couldn't really describe how the cake tasted like, could I? So let's proceed with the human food.

The main reason why I tweeted the good folks of looloo to add this place on their database even if the place is mainly for pets is because of their Lalalasagna. Now this is very good. It got the right balance, it isn't sweet like other lasagnas I've tasted, and the cheese was magnificently awesome. I would go back just for the lasagna, pero nakakahiya naman siguro kung ako lang ang kakain dito ng walang dalang dog, no? But I swear, the lasagna's very tasty.

Giannina also gave us a free slice of Calamansi bar. This was surprisingly good! Better than that calamansi muffin in Boracay.

The service, no matter how packed the place was, was great. Jack was welcoming, Giannina was very accommodating and very hands on to the food they serve, and she's really really nice. It's a nice place to hang out to interact with pet parents and also for the dogs to socialize with other dogs. I hope they expand soon, now that it's obvious that their concept's a hit.

And I'm serious with the lasagna. If you don't have a pet, and you need to borrow a pet to taste this awesome dish, do it. It's gonna be awkward if you just dine there alone.

Perfect for dog lovers! On our visit, we nearly had the place all to ourselves. Summer (our golden retriever) was allowed to freely roam around inside except for the kitchen where we worry she'd wreak havoc to if she manages to get in there. We got to hang out with Jack (also a golden) who's so well-mannered! The owner, Gianina, was also there and was very accommodating. :)

We picked a couple of dishes from the pet menu for Summer -- Jack's Lasagna and Veggie & Beef meatballs which she both enjoyed. For the humans, Pam also had lasagna, I had an egg sandwich and their iced tea, Pam had the citrus cooler, and I had a chocolatey waffle dessert afterwards along with some brewed coffee.

So hard to tell who between Summer and her humans enjoyed the place more. We're definitely going back there again!

Finally, a place where we can hang out with our dog! We don't have to endure the summer heat or the cigarette smoke when we want to dine in with our dog. :)

This place is pretty cool! We were greeted by the resident golden retriever, mr. Jack, when we entered the store. He politely greeted (sniffed) our dog, Summer, and then let us pet him.

WPK has 2 sets of menu--one for humans and one for dogs. I ordered the cheesy lasagna (around P275) and the citrus cooler for myself and jack's lasagna (P78) and the veggie and beef meatballs (P78) for Summer.

The cheesy lasagna was delicious and the citrus cooler was refreshing. Summer went crazy for both dishes that we ordered for her.

Overall, that was a super fun experience!:)
