I love everything we ordered! The Octopus Salad was very refreshing, it also comes with a crispy garlic bread. Squid Ink Pasta was my mom's order, it was sooo good, the shrimps and squid were really fresh, and very tender. My personal order was the Gluten Free Pancakes, the apple sauce goes really well with it, not too sweet, and less sinful than ordinary pancakes.

Will definitely go back here to try more <3

Just gonna share various photos of their fresh pastry yesterday. I just paid a visit to have their Salted Chocolate Cake because I'm under a lot of stress lately and this has become my comfort food. I'm sad that it's priced at Php 270 already but nevertheless it tasted great as always. A little salty and sweet for the icing. One solid slice of moist chocolate cake with chocolate filling in between layers. Couldn'r have it any other way.

PS: their brea budding is a great buy too! 50% off on breads starts at 7pm onwards. So make sure to try!!

My umpteenth review is about the benefits of the pastry board. If you're planning to take home some pastries but also dining in, you can get some savings by ordering 4 as part of the pastry board. Considering that most of the pastry items are at least 110 bucks, the 420 bucks you drop will net you at least 20 pesos in savings - pwede na idagdag sa tip.

Thanks to the proactive server who suggested this 128522

This cafe is a home away from home for me! I've tried so many new items on their menu over the last few months that I still haven't reviewed 128514 Last night's meal was kinda special though.

127838 Panzanella - a bread salad? This is what you come up with? No matter how silly the concept may seem, it was yummy. Imagine a Caprese salad, with large croutons tossed in and a blob of burrata di mozzarella dumped in the middle. Sarap.

128031 Pan seared salmon - I asked the wait staff what they would recommend for the mains, and obviously I chose this over the crab meat pasta. Even if it had a carrot-curry sauce (soup more like) and I usually disliked curry. But this dish works. It even has a sort of production when served: the server places the bowl with your salmon on top of a bed of tapioca and some green onion and basil on top, then pours the curry sauce from a pot to submerge the tapioca. Maybe if I liked curry I would have poured the leftover sauce, but I was also full so I just finished off the salmon. Fair warning: I woke up in the middle of the night with the curry flavor at the back of my throat, and water couldn't flush the flavor down 128542 oh well.

So how to level up that kind of meal? I didn't - I walked away pretty satisfied even without coffee or dessert 128521

Still lots of selection available for the discounted breads even if its 8PM. The resto's staffs are also very helpful, they would recommend which breads are good to try.

It's 50% off on breads again!

Tried their bagel, croissant and matcha twist for this visit.

The bagel was a bit hard and difficult to bite on but it tasted good; while the croissant was quite big and a bit crunchy on the outside, soft in the inside. The matcha taste on the twist was not very strong but you can identify it, It was soft too.

Well this time, I crossed over the other side, Wildflour Legaspi for a moment of dinner and got me some unique foodie fusions 128522128077🏻10084

First we got the Grilled Octopus Salad, with shredded cabbage, mangoes and fresh herbs! Nothing weird with the octopus, it tasted good ...no live tentacles wiggling down my throat hehehe 12851812851812851810084128077🏻10084128077🏻

Then tried the Bone Marrow Spread with warm baguette and mango salsa.... Deadly but super yum!!!! 128522128077🏻1008412852210084128077🏻

For the main course, was this delicious Braised Beef Brisket in red wine, with kale, mushrooms and creamy polenta!!!! Simply love the soft texture of the beef with the creamy textures 100841008410084

Well there's still more to conquer! Got me salivating on those cronuts! Argh hehehe next time perhaps 128522128522128522

A friend of mine told me that Wildflour is really good with pastry. So to prove her claim, I invited Rachel T to join me in checking out their bread and avail of the 50% discount sale for all bread starting at 7pm.

Ambiance is still the strongest asset of Wildflour Bakery for me and I always feel refreshed everytime I see the interior design details of their store. However, upon seeing how beatifully they create their bread, I think I'll have another reason to go back from time to time to this restaurant/bakery.

Upon entering the store, one can immediately see the remaining bread that can be bought at half the price at the counter. Except for the pudding, every bread on display can be bought for half the price.

I tried the Sesame Bagels (Php 40) and the Oats and Seed Bagel (Php 65), 2 plain croissants (Php 90) and another bread which I forgot (which was priced at Php 105). Honestly, like any other food on their menu, their pasty are a bit expensive compared to other bakeshops or pastry shops. The size of their bread somehow balances out the steepness of their prices. The bread which I bought were packaged in a box which makes your order feel a bit more sophisticated. Just in case you'll have a hard time carrying all the boxes of bread, they sell an ecobag worth Php 18.

Celebrated my officemates' birthday at this resto. I made reservations via the Booky App.

When we arrived, I just told the waitress that we had reservation via the Booky App and she immediately guides us to the our table (I guess I was the only one who made reservations via the App).

When we sat down on our designated table, we were immediately handed some menus and a toasted baguette. I really liked the butter served with the baguette as it was saltless. We had 2 rounds of baguette while we wait for our orders. The waitress was also very attentive, she would pour water everytime she notice our cups were empty. She also assisted us nicely when we clarified some items in the menu. (They have different menus for lunch and dinner)

We ordered the ff:
128073 Parmesan churros - 128077128077128077128077128077; big crispy churros with cheese shreds on top and parmesan at the middle of the churros. The parmesan was not that thick but i liked the taste. Not nakakaumay.

128073 Half roasted organic chicken - 128077128077128077128077; this was really tender and not difficult to slice even without a knife; the mashed potato placed underneath the chicken was so soft almost like cream; the chicken was medium size

128073 Wildflour Salad - 128077128077128077; rich in taste

128073 smoked salmon tarte flambé - 1280771280771280779757; tasty and generous servings of salmon; the salmon was not that smoked; tarte flambé is a pizza type dish

128073 lasagna bolognese - 128077128077128077128077; i am not a fan of tomato based and very soury tomato sauce but this one was just right. If you like soury tomato sauce, you will like this.

128073 salted chocolate cake - 127775127775127775127775127775; thick layers of chocolate; good for sharing; with slight hints of salty-ness mostly at the outside of the cake which compliments the chocolate-y side of the cake

The waitress said that their best seller was the salted chocolate cake which costs 2.7k for a whole order and their carrot cake was the 2nd best seller.

Wildflour has a different menu for lunch and a different one for dinner. Last time I visited was for dinner, so now, it's a lunch review!

We love the free bread!!! Hahaha. We had like 3-4 loaves.. For 6 people. 128514 plus... All the following:

SHOKSAKA
Ok, I forgot if this is the correct spelling but it's a tomato based sauce with 2 poached eggs and veggies served with a loaf of bread. It's absolutely wonderful as an appetizer!! It's good to share in a group, though my friend ate this all by himself. Hehe! 128514

KIMCHI FRIED RICE
This is in their breakfast menu, I have no idea why... 128517 It's a huge bowl of kimchi fried rice with tender beef pieces and a beautifully cooked sunny side up egg on top. I ordered one for myself and I regret not having anyone to share it with because it felt so heavy! But still, it was delicious!

FRIED CHICKEN AND BISCUITS
This... You have got to share!! It's 4 pieces of huge fried chicken with biscuits. It takes a while to cook so you have to order it early. They wrote in the menu it takes 20 minutes.

ARUGULA TORTELLINI
I was torn between ordering this and the kimchi fried rice, but eventually gave in to the kimchi fried rice because they all said it was good. I had a taste of this pasta dish with Italian sausages and a wonderfully poached egg and I wish I had this and had someone to share it with too. The pasta itself is quite thick and can be very heavy when you eat it by yourself.

WILDFLOUR REUBEN
I wasn't able to taste this anymore. Hehe. But it looked really good and filling!

DESSSSSSSSERRRRRTTTTSSS!!! 100841008410084

CARROT CAKE
This cake is HUGE! It's one slice and we couldn't finish it... 128517 Well, we did have so much before dessert but still! Though it is a bit too sweet for my liking.

As for that one other slice of dessert that looks like a brazo de mercedes... It's not brazo but it's pretty close. 128514 It's made with Mascarpone cheese with fruits. It's DIVINE. 10084

Phew...so that's everything we ate.. For lunch. Imagine how full we were after. 128517

Wildflour's baked goodies is currently one of the favorite pasalubongs at home128522 I think we've tried all their pastries by now128517

Top favorites are Nutella Kouign Amann, Salted Caramel Knot & Cronuts (especially the Dulce de Leche & Chocolate variants). Cranberry walnut loaf is also good. I buy them from 7pm onwards to avail the 50% discount128521128076🏻

I'm sorry, Wildflour pastries at 50% off are just too hard to pass up on every time. Clockwise from the top left:
- chocolate muffin topped a ball of chocolate ganache in a chocolate shell
- strawberry danish(?)
- turtle brownie with a fudgy chocolate-y core
- cranberry pistachio cookie 128077128077128077
- chocolate cream cheese muffin
- coconut cake topped with a marshmallow like swirl and a sweet & creamy core reminiscent of the yellow center found in brazo de mercedes 128521

I'd love to meet the chef behind the menu, the pastries, and bread. The guy's a genius! I'd shake his hand and bow at his feet haha. I love their baked items so much that i pass by whenever i can to take advantage of the 50% discount for all breads and pastries after 7pm. 128514

Wildflour is so, so much more than the cronuts that made them famous locally during the cronut craze years ago. Here's a few reasons why:
- cheesecake leche flan -> this is special. So seemlessly integrated you don't know where the cheesecake ends and the leche flan starts. And instead of caramelized sugar, the glaze is made from honey! 128549
- garlic pouch -> soft garlic bread shaped and wrapped by a bow into a pouch and baked. Before eating, you have to literally pour garlic butter into the pouch. Then enjoy!
- sea salt chocolate cake -> the chocolate is deep, dark, and rich with flavor. The slightly salty touch adds a bit of depth you won't find in other chocolate cakes.

I could go on and on... the valrhona chocolate bomboloni, the kouign aman, the cookies, the lemon croissant, the bacon and potato danish, the chocolate macaroon, the mixed berry donut, the cranberry scone... i honestly think the chef's got a pastry lab hidden underground where he exercises his creative genius.

And the food is just as awesome! The kitayama steak and fries, the steak on kimchi rice, and the sweet corn agnalotti! There's nothing quite like the agnolotti... soft and small agnolotti pasta with sweet corn or sweet potato(?) paste inside, smothered in a sweet corn and almost cheesy sauce with shrimp twists and arugula. Word has it that this is the dish that one of Wildflour's part owners serves to foreign guests whenever he looks to close a deal. 128521

50% on breads and pastries starting mondays to saturdays from 7pm until closing time and sundays from 3pm until closing time, for take outs only and until supplies last.

Service was great when we had a light dinner. Free baguette slices with butter, for refills just ask the waiter. Although our order took some time before it was served.

It is arguably one of the best restaurants in Manila. Wildflour is this type of a restaurant that will never disappoint you even your stomach would seemingly grow taste buds for its flavorful and sumptuous menu. My all time favorite would be the Kitayama Steak and Salad and the Kimchi Fried Rice which they serve during dinner. Pair them with an ice cold agua fresca, you have what I call the "quota meal of the week". Wildflour also has a wide set of pastries and desserts that will surely satisfy anyone's sweet tooth. My suggestion - the humongous and awfully sinful Salted Chocolate Cake. You can never go wrong in this resto!

I must say food in this place is consistently good128076🏻128522 We definitely enjoyed our hearty dinner here last night.

128204 Our favorite Cranberry Walnut Bread with Malagos Goat Cheese and Honey - 1108811088110881108811088
128204 Market Fish - 1108811088110881108811088

Servers were very helpful and attentive. Ambience was really nice. Serving time was a bit slow but acceptable 128522

I assure you will not be disappointed if you will be deciding to have breakfast at wildflour. This branch is bigger than the Leviste branch. It also got street parking space so you just have to arrive early (though this place does have more cars parked than Leviste's)

128204 german pancakes
If you ask the servers which is better between ricotta pancake and german pancakes, servers will not be able to answer you--because it's completely different. This german pancakes really are crepes. Two long rolls of crepe with luscious german yogurt and cream with mangoes inside. The crepes looks and tastes a bit like scrambled eggs, plus the strawberry syrup adds fruitiness to the meal. I actually think i was eating dessert.

128204128525 vietnamese latte.
No need to add sugar (which in any coffee drink i do not) because of the condemse milk into it. Speechless. So good.

The ambiance here is less warmer than leviste (maybe cause it's more grand than the other brand?) was not able to use the CR.

Thanks @kris for accompanying me this early! 128540 onto my 4th stamp (am soo slow)
