I have to stay, Wildflour is definitely a breakfast place unlike their lunch and dinner menu which is equally enticing but can be a little bit overpriced.

So what we have right here is the perfect cup of sweet and smooth Vietnamese Latte. I like how sweet it is, nothing too much and still enough to enjoy that bitter flavor of their coffee beans. We also had the Wildflour Breakfast which has lots of carbs and protein all in one plate. The big slab of bacon steak is good!! It’s sweet and glazed perfectly. It’s big enough for two. Plus, it has potato siding and I chose scrambled egg. It comes with a small baguette, and you can request unsalted butter to accompany it. The potato bacon danish we ordered is good!! For Php 135, I’d say one of the most sulit pastry there is not only in Wildflour but in general. It is stuffed with good mashed potato, and it is filling. Like what I told you, carbs on carbs.

The place is quiet, perfect for an early breakfast grab. My sister and I only spent less than 900 for our breakfast and considering it’s Wildflour, I’d say that is cheap. They are indeed a breakfast place, so drop by during breakfast.

PS: I am sad though that my favorite salted caramel chocolate cake is now Php 25 more expensive than it already is. Huhuhu.

Right after dinner, we’re all craving for coffee and so we went to Wildflour since it’s just nearby.

We ordered for their salted caramel chocolate (P295) it has a huge serving! We didnt even finish it haha! It’s really good, not to sweet and just perfect with coffee. No wonder why it’s their best seller.

I had Vanilla Almond Latte (P180) i love the almond taste! I dont know why but my friends didnt like it. I also tried their Pistachio Au Lait (195) it’s really good!! I would recommend that coffee.128076🏼

I like the cozy vibe and the interiors. The service was good too.

They’re open from 8am-11pm

I can eat in this modern ‘bakery’ everyday if I have to. They have a spectacle of bread made in every way. They also created a career for croughnuts years ago and still remains their top seller. They have pies, cakes, pretty much anything that uses flour.

On top of all these, they have a long list of savory dishes. They got comfort food and a list of healthy picks as well. Yep when you want to celebrate calories or tame it down, you can have it both here.

I got their Roast Chicken Salad and loved this on my first forkfull. It’s fresh and light yet filling and flavor filled. The texture of satisfying Israeli couscous was like fluffy rice and not your grainy kind. And arugula leaves, who wouldn’t go for this salad?

From the counter I also got their Vegetable and Chicken Pie. It looked dull then but it went to life on my table after being warmed up. It was a beautiful piece and I suggest you grabbing one on the go. It’s your perfect pie!

There are a lot of other offerings like their all day breakfast, sandwiches and meats.

My best friend and I were looking for a place where we can sit down, talk, and brainstorm for certain projects we had in mind to do together so we ended up in Wildflour along Rada. We were able to snag a table right away since it was in the middle of the day and there weren't many diners.

What I like most about this Wildflour branch is that the moment you stepped in, you’re immediately greeted by different kinds of mouthwatering breads, cakes, and pastries. And they all look so good, you want to buy and eat them all. Haha

My best friend ordered the Key Lime Pie, which she said was really good but was sweeter than expected. I forgot the tea she ordered but what I do remember is that it had ginger in it. She didn’t expect to like it but she ended up enjoying her drink.

I got curious when I saw the Green Tea Mojito in the menu so I went for that. Right away, I was informed that you can have with or without alcohol. I just assumed right away that it would be alcoholic so it was nice to know that there were options. Still went with the alcoholic one lol.

However, I hope that Wildflour will, in the future, state blatantly in their menu that the prices of the non-alcohol and alcoholic versions of this drink are different. Though it may be that it’s there but I just didn’t notice it. I didn’t mind paying the extra amount when I saw the bill and found a price much higher than what was on the menu I had.Other diners might feel blindsided when they get their bill.

I found the mojito refreshing and really good. I don’t know what kind/s of alcohol was mixed in it but their flavors were subtle and they didn’t pack that strong of a punch, which will suit those who prefer it that way.

I also got the Brookie, which was just okay and was pretty much a brownie instead of the hybrid between a brownie and a cookie.

I've been gaining some weight lately so I thought where can I have a healthy breakfast here in Makati. Then I remembered Ruth S and the chia bowl here in Wildflour.

For PHP 370 a bowl, this is one pricey breakfast! The chia bowl had chia seeds in almond milk and coconut milk topped with some bananas, mangoes, kiwi, dragonfruit and almonds. It also had a bit of honey. The taste of the coconut milk is more dominant - maybe because almond milk doesn't really have much flavor. The fruits were fresh and sweet. The almonds gave the meal a bit more crunch - which I liked a lot.

Now this is what a true laid back afternoon looks like! A cup of coffee and a savory danish at Wildflour. Rada Street is LOVE! On my way to Amorsolo Street, decided to dropby Wildflour to buy their Parkerhouse Rolls for pasalubong. Its their bestseller so it was already sold out by the late afternoon. Even their Plain Croissants are sold out. A good indicator of their popularity. I was recommended to try out the Cinnamon Brioche! For a loaf that big comparable to buying two breads, this one is a steal. Even better if you can catch it during their evening 50% off bread sale. So bought that one instead.

For dine in, tried the Bacon Cheese Danish and a cup of Americano! Perfection. The Danish was flaky with a generous helping of butter. The bacon was thick ham cut chunks. It can easily pass off as a heavy lunch because of the added potato hiding inside the warm danish. The cheese was crusty and golden. Plate was small so be careful cutting the bread to prevent it from flying off to the other table (not that it happened to me!).

Service was fast, friendly and warm. Recommended chill out place. I try to avoid the lunch and dinner crowds so the afternoon alone time was perfect.

Squid Ink Bucatini by Wildflour: YEY

It was a masterful play in colors and textures. The bucatini was cooked al dente. Well, i think it would have been very hard for them to get this wrong as bucatini is characteristically thicker than other pastas. What's interesting with this however would obviously be the use of squid ink on the mixture. The faint metallic taste of the ink gives an interesting aspect to the pasta but all that is practically unnoticeable to regular diners (it's that or I completely imagined everything). The seafood is plentiful and fresh, from the shrimp, to the clams and the squid. Neither tough nor gummy, they were cooked just right. The butter gives the marinara sauce a silky feel, but I suggest you finish your meal while it's still hot as the butter tends to congeal. The pistachio adds a nutty accent and gives texture to the entire thing.

I think the cooks and chef of Wildflour were having a good day today as this one tasted so much better than the last time I had it. What I usually do is I make sure I've had the dish at least twice before I do my review. This takes out extraneous factors that could possibly just be isolated issues on the day of my visit to the restaurant. I think that's a fair way to review restaurants.

Also, you don't usually review the bread basket/complimentary bread. But for today... Complimentary Bread by Wildflour: YEY

This was one of, if not the best, complimentary bread I've had. The crust was well-baked and the middle was soft, moist and airy. It also works well with the butter and salt.

We were in for a dessert so we made a quick stop at Wildflour to wrap up the night, they were almost about to close and there wasn’t much pastry left but there was still carrot cake (230php/slice) so we all immediately agreed to get that. 128523

If ever I would be asked what kind of cake I would like - for my birthday or anything, I would probably choose carrot cake (over chocolate cake) in a heartbeat. But unfortunately, I realize that not many people have the same feelings towards carrot cake. So I honestly rejoice in these moments where I find a friend who loves carrot cake just like me.

I mean, cream cheese, walnuts, carrot all in a cake? How could you not love that?128525127856

Anyway, their slice is humongous, with cream cheese frosting and filling in between the layers. It was shared by 3 people but we still didn’t get to finish it! But it tasted so divine; it was the perfect combination between carrot shreds walnuts, raisins and cream cheese frosting. Now, I may not be a big fan of cream cheese frosting that much (or any cake frosting for that matter) but the sweetness complements the moist, spiced cake perfectly.

There’s was no better way to end the night than this, really. So for all you fellow carrot cake lovers out there, this is a must try! And for you who’s not a fan, give this one a try and you just might be a convert!128521

Cuban sandwich was awesome! Good to share because they were jampacked with meat and flavor! The Vietnamese coffee was good (best is pistachio cream thing but that doesn't really have coffee in it!)...the French Brie with walnut and figs was a pleasant surprise! 1-2 pieces would suffice as an appetizer because kakaumay if more... their squid pasta was good but had too much chili oil that we sent it back to the kitchen (menu didn't say it was hot or spicy nor the fact it had chili oil...! Restos mask "unfresh" seafood by spicing up the plate... blek!). In exchange for the squid pasta, we got the Lechon goto thing... nothing spectacular. Just high end veggies instead of your gotohan gulay (but I'd prefer eating the gotohan version ... this one was waaaay overpriced).

Good to order the special items if you go here because those are worth the price tag. Dessert in this place ain't bad either. We loved the fried croissants with chocolate dip (forgot to take a pic!).

For the spend, you may want to consider this place only if you wanna splurge on yourself. Otherwise, there are more affordable and still yummy options along Rada or nearby Palanca street.

I love everything we ordered! The Octopus Salad was very refreshing, it also comes with a crispy garlic bread. Squid Ink Pasta was my mom's order, it was sooo good, the shrimps and squid were really fresh, and very tender. My personal order was the Gluten Free Pancakes, the apple sauce goes really well with it, not too sweet, and less sinful than ordinary pancakes.

Will definitely go back here to try more <3

Just gonna share various photos of their fresh pastry yesterday. I just paid a visit to have their Salted Chocolate Cake because I'm under a lot of stress lately and this has become my comfort food. I'm sad that it's priced at Php 270 already but nevertheless it tasted great as always. A little salty and sweet for the icing. One solid slice of moist chocolate cake with chocolate filling in between layers. Couldn'r have it any other way.

PS: their brea budding is a great buy too! 50% off on breads starts at 7pm onwards. So make sure to try!!

My umpteenth review is about the benefits of the pastry board. If you're planning to take home some pastries but also dining in, you can get some savings by ordering 4 as part of the pastry board. Considering that most of the pastry items are at least 110 bucks, the 420 bucks you drop will net you at least 20 pesos in savings - pwede na idagdag sa tip.

Thanks to the proactive server who suggested this 128522

This cafe is a home away from home for me! I've tried so many new items on their menu over the last few months that I still haven't reviewed 128514 Last night's meal was kinda special though.

127838 Panzanella - a bread salad? This is what you come up with? No matter how silly the concept may seem, it was yummy. Imagine a Caprese salad, with large croutons tossed in and a blob of burrata di mozzarella dumped in the middle. Sarap.

128031 Pan seared salmon - I asked the wait staff what they would recommend for the mains, and obviously I chose this over the crab meat pasta. Even if it had a carrot-curry sauce (soup more like) and I usually disliked curry. But this dish works. It even has a sort of production when served: the server places the bowl with your salmon on top of a bed of tapioca and some green onion and basil on top, then pours the curry sauce from a pot to submerge the tapioca. Maybe if I liked curry I would have poured the leftover sauce, but I was also full so I just finished off the salmon. Fair warning: I woke up in the middle of the night with the curry flavor at the back of my throat, and water couldn't flush the flavor down 128542 oh well.

So how to level up that kind of meal? I didn't - I walked away pretty satisfied even without coffee or dessert 128521

It's 50% off on breads again!

Tried their bagel, croissant and matcha twist for this visit.

The bagel was a bit hard and difficult to bite on but it tasted good; while the croissant was quite big and a bit crunchy on the outside, soft in the inside. The matcha taste on the twist was not very strong but you can identify it, It was soft too.
