It was a long wait at Mendokoro so we decided to have an appetizer at Wildflour.

Ordered the Roasted Bone Marrow with the Mango Salsa, delicious! The Mango Salsa complemented the bone marrow really well.

Expect more of Wildflour branches to emerge in the city. They have six now and more stores should pop up soon. I am a big fan of their contrasting spread of healthy fix and sinful dessert creations.

In this recent visit, I got quite a fix of sorts starting with their generous bowl of Wild Flour Salad. This filling starter has roast chicken, salami, fresh mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, greens, cucumber and sweet candied peanut for the welcome crunch.

I also had my favorite Blue Dream Smoothie, a glass packed with nutrients. It has tons of blueberries mixed with yogurt, honey, strawberry and banana. It’s expensive for Php 260 but worth the sip!

My companion had her salad, and I had a bite of her delicious Carabao Ricotta Toast, a slab of sourdough with strawberry jam and creamy ricotta cheese.

I also took out savory and packed Chicken Pie for a snack and capped off with a rich Turtle Brownie! I loved my dessert and am looking forward to try more of their sweets.

Of course we enjoyed our after-7 haul of breads and selected pastries, half off after 7PM. Tried their alfajores for the first time, masarap! Made it just the way I like it. Happy the stuff we bought still tasted good to eat, the sometimes are a miss for us.

Oh, and I wanted to eat this inside Toby's nearby. Just read my review there.

After reading the posts of Ruth S and Chrisalyn T last night, I woke up hungry and decided to have breakfast at a nearby Wildflour cafe branch.

I had the WF breakfast and an Agua Freska to drink.

The WF breakfast is composed of; half a 6 inch baguette, jam, fried potatoes, an egg, and a slab of honey cured bacon. I washed them down w an Agua Freska which is cucumber-lemony drink. All went down very well 128523.

Reading food posts at night cost me around P700 the next morning. I resolve to only read Looloo reviews when I’m full. Lol 128514

Minus 1 star because Chrisalyn T had twice as much food on her plate for the same price. Lol 128514

Pardon the photo. I’m probably one of the few persons still walking around w an IPhone 4 128514

I used to see a lot of Wildflour's Kimchi Fried Rice on IG before. It really looks so good that's why I decided to give it a try. So here's my detailed review of my Wildflour experience.

PLACE:

Place is cozy, nice, and a bit posh.

FOOD:

Kimchi Fried Rice: Of course, this is the first one we ordered. Not only because I saw a lot of this in Ig but also I heard a lot of positive comments about this one. So this one is a bowl of Kimchi Fried Rice and cubes of meat mixed with it then topped with poached egg. The fried rice was a bit oily for me. Taste was just okay for me. It doesn't surprised or wow-ed me that much but my friend likes it so much (well she loves kimchi). Meat was a bit tough but it's very flavorful. I just wish there were more meat. Egg was poached perfectly. I love how the yolk explodes when you slice it to it. Overall, the dish was quite good but serving is kinda small.

Bacon and Gruyere Tarte Flambée: This is my favorite! It's a thin rectangular flatbread topped with strips of bacon, gruyere, and caramelized onions. This is a bit oily yet it's sooo good. There's a generous amount of chunky bacon strips. It has the perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness on it. The caramelized onions are so flavorful as well. It certainly complements the whole dish. Bread was crispy and coated with a generous amount of gruyere. This is a definite must try!

PRICE:

Everything is quite pricey.

SERVICE:

Friendly and accommodating staff.

VERDICT:

Did I enjoy it? - Yes
Will I recommend it? -Yes
Will I come back? - Maybe

It's another Tuesday night in the city and it's a good thing the rain stopped pouring. We decided to let the traffic die down a bit so instead of joining the long lines we grabbed some dinner in one of the best restaurants around - no other than Wildflour.

The place usually gets packed for dinner so we are glad to have been seated almost immediately.

We wanted something light and filling so we opted for the Wildflour Salad and Spaghetti and meatballs.

In classic Wildflour style, we were served their starter bread and butter while waiting for our orders to arrive. The batch we got this time was no longer new so it's a bit on the hard side. It's still good though specially once it's slathered with butter. 128523

A few minutes later our salad came. Nothing like a vinaigrette dressing topped with shaved Mozzarella and Parmesan, roasted chicken, and cherry tomatoes. Only thing I wish was a bigger serving since this is very good. Despite not being their main repertoire their salad can go toe to toe with the better ones I've sampled in the past with the only losing mark here, again, being the serving size.

I have to admit that I never remembering ordering pasta from them in the past so I was looking forward to their Spaghetti and Meatball rendition. Similar to the salad my only qualm is the size. A bit too small to share but the flavors sort of make up for its paltry form. The handmade Spaghetti is a treat every pasta lover should try since achieving this balance of firm chewiness is probably akin to getting something out of an episode of Masterchef. The sauce with the meatballs really lends itself well to highlight this dish. Devoured it in less than 3 minutes. 128517

To round off the night we decided to take home some pastries that Wildflour is pretty known for. A few pcs of Gluten free brownies and my favorite peanut butter and chocolate cookie!

After helping a friend move her stuff in her new apartment, we walked to Wildflour in Legaspi to have lunch. I had the tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich with a side salad. SO GOOD I WANT TO CRY HUHU. The dish is so simple and so flavorful. The grilled cheese + tomato soup is always a good combination, which the saltiness of the cheese and the buttery sourness of the tomato. I think what made it a hit was the addition of the zesty taste of the salad. Everything was just balanced on the palate. For drinks I had guava and lime soda which was also refreshing. Then for dessert, we share the almond matcha bread.

The most overrated cafe along Leviste
I consider myself a regular at this place since I live close by at HV Delacosta. Today we have the worst experience. I have asked for vinegar to go with my order the, breakfast pork belly with the red rice, I was aghast when I was told that I have to pay 30 pesos for the vinegar. I complain to the manager but to no avail, she insisted that that is the rule. I have never heard of any restaurant that charges for condiments. This si ridiculous and unheard of. I will make this review viral. I will never go back to this place since there are many restaurants along Leviste.

Magandang araw!

Wildflour Breakfast
Halaga: 440 PHP
Dalawang itlog, patatas, at sausage. Masarap lahat.

Ingat!

Wildflour bread and pastries will never disappoint you. Take this pistachio croissant for example; the filling is really full. No air inside. Just full pistachio flavored pastry cream.
Reward yourself with wildflour bread and pastry!

5 stars for this branch because they actually lent my friend a phone charger! Lol!
Kidding aside, it's only my second time at a wildflour branch and I think this one is better (in terms of space) than the one in Rada. Ordered the salted caramel chocolate cake to share between the three of us and of course I chewed non stop on the bread too 128513 tried their iced mocha but nothing special imo.
Mejo weird Lang, they kept on asking if they can clear the table even though we haven't asked for the bill. Ganun ba talaga sa ibang branches? Anyways just said will let you know when pwede na 128517 we also said that we'd just pour our own water lol

I had brunch with my family and we usually ask to be seated outside on one of their high tables. The ambiance is perfect for brunching since the outside has the perfect wind breeze and away from the loud crowd.

I got the Chia Bowl (pictured), it's chia seeds with almond milk, the right amount of honey to add a bit of sweetness, almonds and fruits (big chunks of strawberries, dragon fruit, kiwi, mangoes and bananas). I just love it, the milk tasted a bit coconut-ty and the bananas added a bit of sweetness too. This is the kind of meal that I like which makes me feel nurished and light after the meal.
I paired it with their Americano and it is just p-e-r-f-e-c-t.

My family got their own stuff to eat and I had a bit of the Chorizo Fundido which we had as an apetizer for sharing, it was delicious, loved the combination of the mexican flavors and the spicy fresh taste of Arugula.

My daughter also loved her Strawberry Shortcake.

The service was great, the servers were attentive and quite fast with the orders.

This is not my first time here and will certainly be back for more. I always enjoy my dining experience in Wildflour.

Why should i not give them a five star if i really love the food here--im talking about breakfast! In my last review, i mentioned about their 6am opening. Despite its early opening, i was not able to catch them as early as i could cause i woke up kinda late already. Haha.

But still there's no stopping me going from QC to this place, it's a Sunday, it will only take you 20 minutes to go here; the parking is also hassle free.

128204128525 ricotta cheese pancakes @390PhP
The pancakes were ugly looking, actually. But who would care anyway if it tastes wonderful?! Fluffy, creamy, cheesy (ricotta), and moist! It never fails to bore me! Not at all cloying. Elaine O and Dennis O you guys should try this and conquer your pancake phobia.
And just in case you really feel cloying already, try to put on some sugary maple syrup, eat two slices of caramelized bananas that goes with the order.
Honestly, it also took me some time to finish such huge serving. Three very fluffy cheese-filled pancakes will never fail to fill your stomach.

Drink to your satisfaction with their wide range of caffeinated drinks. I had my favorite vanilla almond latte. 128536

Try asking for a newspaper to have that pro-breakfast feel. 128518

Did you ever wish wildflour opens a little earlier than their usual opening time? I did. And this Christmas, they now open as early as 6AM! Yeah! Perfect breakfast-- even better if you live nearby. Last Sunday's visit was nostalgic as i know there were added more food items is their menu!

128204128525 chia bowl @315PhP
I love this one! The very healthy chia seeds swimming in almond milk (it actually tasted like coco milk). Felt so healthy eating all those anti oxidants. Why not make it healthier by adding fruits?! There were kiwis, dragonfruits, strawberries, bananas, and mangoes. Add one more healthy food--almonds! Whoa texture overload of seedy and fleshy fruits.

I have actually ordered an almond latte, my all time favorite bitter cup. Yeah, i got this for free because of the loyalty card-- after a long while i finally get to claim my free drink! Yes, their cards dont have expiry dates.

128204 thai tea latte @165PhP
Because this is something new and--exciting, i ordered a for to go. I did not like it much not because it tasted like chai latte, but it's just something ordinary. Well, because the price is already almost same as starbucks venti cup, it's just not sulit.

So i'll just go back to my beloved almond milk latte.

But really, a big yahoo for the 6am opening time. Hope this is permanent. Why not? More earnings!

I love everything about wildflour, from cookies 127850 to other pastries and savoury dishes. But I just hope that they will offer the same menu in every branch, went here in Salcedo branch and their breakfast menu was limited. I already forgot what food I asked but I remember the server told me they don't offer it here. Hmmm.. So I just went for a pancake, forgot what bf ordered but he love the hot chocolate1278519749️.

But overall, I still love them and will surely go back for the pastries and other food (that maybe in another branch128556)

Loved everything about this place, from its servers down to its menu! The ambiance was very nice too!

I first learned about Wildflour Café + Bakery in one of the funny videos] of The Soshal Network :D

We ordered Organic Chicken Wings, glazed in rice vinegar, peanuts and some herbs (priced at 420) and Carbonara Buccatini with poached egg (priced at 450 per serving).

Well, true enough as featured, the serve soshal & a bit pricey food but hey, I find it all worth it! ;)

While waiting for our order to be served, I went over the bar to check some of its pastries. Some of those were already half the price.

I ordered my all time favorite snack, oatmeal cookies, for to go. We took advantage of the 50% off and got some more pastries like danish, focaccia bread, ham and cheese bread.
Not even starting with our dinner, meron na agad pang-take out! Hahaha!

While checking out the items on the bar, they also offered free taste of their Christmas ham with homemade pineapple dip which was very palatable.

When I came back to our table, there was French bread and butter waiting for me and it was served for free!

The Carbonara was not your usual pasta, with the poached egg, other spices and white wine in it. Mixed with the pasta, the yolk bursted & gave a lavish, creamy and cheesy taste. Al dente! 128588127860

The organic chicken wings was served in a pretty good serving! (exceeded my serving size expectations) 🤗 It has a good mix of citrusy-chili flavor. Being a fan of chicken is wings, all I can say is, delicioso!128076

Lastly, we'd like to commend Jennie, a very very cheerful server who attended to us and made sure we got everything we need. Kudos!

I ordered this Vietnamese coffee expecting a black one with condensed milk for pouring but received a rather latte-looking cup instead. Despite the first impression, I actually enjoyed my cup because it has the right bitterness and sweetness to it. What can I say about Wildflour? Well, it's pricy to be a daily option (unless you have intentions of going broke days before the next payday) but I understand that there's actually so much detail and quality put into it. I've been here a couple of times and it never fails to deliver something interesting, tasty, and exceptional.

Stopped for a quick bite while waiting for our doctor's appointment.

My wife ordered mac and cheese. It looked appetizing. Golden on top and slughtly burnt on the side for that perfect crisp. The inside was moist but a little lacking on flavor.

I also tried the octopus ala plantza. Octopus with potato wedges, green beans, chorizo and salsa. It tasted good. The potatoes were crispy with a slight tinge of onion flavor. The beans crunchy with the chorizo giving it a bit of a smokey spicy flavor. The octopus was chewy yet tender while the salsa gave it a little acidic taste. Quite a good mix if I may say so.
