Nasi goreng (P180) if you're a rice lover, you're definitely gonna love this. Puro kanin lang talaga teh. (Sorry, nag expect ako sa P180) It tastes like yang chow sprinkled magic sarap. It claims to have shrimp but i just found 2 small pieces. The Chicken was tiny and nothing great. Will not order again in any day.

Tried it for lunch and dinner yesterday.

Lunch was the nasi goreng with chicken. We thoroughly enjoyed this one!

Dinner was the Singaporean fried rice plain. It was so plain, three of us tried it and came to the same conclusion, that it had no salt.

The chefs were different during the day and afternoon.

Servings are good for someone who's really hungry or two normal portion people.

Sadly I do not fit the profile of a normal portion eater, I eat way too much.

But the food here is good and also pretty good value for money. :)

Singaporean Street Food - No skipping! I love singaporean food especially from hawker centers. I was happy that they have Char Kway Teow. I love these flat rice noodles.

Wok's version of Char Kway Teow is delicious. It didn't have the level of spice I wanted but it tastes really good. They used just enough amount of light and dark soy and had some onion chives for a refreshing pull on salty flavors. It has a lot of prawns too. I forgot how much I paid for it but I think around PHP140. I love that the flavors are restrained and not too overwhelming which is why I ordered another round.

Well I can say is that you don't need to go to Singapore just to eat their dishes. You can have them here at Wok - Singaporean Street Food and I can say that they got the taste of an authentic Sg food at very affordable price.

I love their Hainnanesse Chicken rice which very moist and the rice itself is very tasty. They also have the 3 sauces that will make your chicken very extraordinary.

Our latest discovery in Gastropark felt like an instant trip to SG sans the plane ride. Everything about Wok is quite straightforward -- from their clean, sleek and modern vibe to their 5-item menu. They only serve Mee Goreng, Char Kway Teow, Nasi Goreng, Hainanese chicken rice and Roast pork rice (which made it a lot more difficult for me because I wanted to try everything!)

From the 5, we just settled for their best-sellers, their Hainanese Chicken rice and Nasi Goreng. My boyfriend who is a huge fan of Hainanese chicken, LOVED their version. He pointed out that the chicken was extra tender and juicy without the overwhelming ginger-y aftertaste. The rice must've been cooked with the chicken stock too because it was delicious and flavorful! I, on the other hand, preferred the Nasi Goreng which comes with egg and fried chicken. And for someone who has GERD like myself, I liked that everything was perfectly spiced in moderation without triggering my reflux.

The taste and authenticity of the food exceeded my expectations (for something that's situated in a food park!). We can't wait to go back and try the other 3 items on the menu!128522

Wok exceeded my initial expectation. At first, i thought it was just a normal stall in a food park that serves common tasting asian dishes. I was wrong. Their simple 5 dish menu can make you wonder what makes them so special among others. We tried their char kway teow because its a dish that can be a disaster most of the time. The dish looked amazing but the taste made it perfect. The balance of flavor and heat was harmonious. For 120 pesos its very affordable for the serving size and taste will make me come back and also try other dishes from Wok.
