Ok so i heard that smokers or texas bbq is starting to get big here in PI. So i gave this new joint a try. Place looks old well it has character. But the AC could use some maintenance. Well i was a bit dissapointed. I've tasted barbecue from texas and this is a far cry from what I have tasted. Ok ok the sauce was too thangy. The brisket was ok it was tender but that sauce ruined it. The pulled pork was nice also. But again the sauce killed it. Did i say the sauce ruined it??? Lastly the ribs.... The ribs where not fall off the bone... The place is a good 1 time thing or if you want to try western style bbq. The sides where ok i had beans and coleslaw. The ribs at Buffalo Wild Wings and Fridays will blow yours away.... Sorry...

First impression about the place, it was a bit dark because of the lights (mood lights i think) they use. Checked the menu for the 'best sellers' but beef brisket and sausage wasn't available at that time. So i decided to try the ribs with mac and cheese + potato salad as sides. Tried their plate size (Php255 for the ribs + Php95 for 2 sides) and a pint of draft beer. For me the ribs are delicious. The sauce is a bit sweet and a little spicy, typical barbecue flavor. The meat is tender and falls easily. Sides are tasty especially the mac and quezo (that's how they want to call it). Potato salad was okay, too. The pint of draft beer suits well with this plate and will definitely make you full. Doesn't taste like a local beer but not that smooth as some draft beer shops offer. Price vs Quality, i think it's 4/5. The food is delicious, although a bit pricey, it is worth checking out if you're around Makati Ave.

Place looks a bit (ok I'm lying, it's more than a bit) worn down considering it's new but don't let that make you think they don't serve good food here.

I was a bit iffy since it smelled old and one AC already wasn't working. The walls also looked a bit dingy, I could see a pail of something near the bathroom, etc. Or maybe all that was intentional and part of the cowboy vibe?

I ordered anyway, wanting to give it a chance.

Was pleasantly surprised by the smiling server in a cowboy outfit. She wasn't much of a talker but she smiled a whole lot and that's always a welcome expression. :)

Got their "Whole Nine Yards" so I could try their pulled pork, beef brisket, and ribs.

Their brisket is very good! It was tender and the sauce was perfect! I also liked the pulled pork although I don't remember it being very memorable.

As for the ribs, it had that citrusy taste which I wasn't a huge fan of. When I return, I think I will just stick with the beef brisket.

I also don't recommend bringing a car here. It was difficult to find a parking space. Better to take a cab, an Uber or a Grabcar.

Tried their Beef and Pork Sausage Plates with Mac 'n' Quezo and Dirty Rice as sides. It was good but it doesn't meet the price. I think it's too pricey. The place, however, js good! Texas Cowboy style haha.
