Being under a new management certainly spices things up! My family and I personally know the new owners who pride themselves in livening this restaurant up. Offers are still the same but they definitely added that oomph to those already delectable dishes. With a mix of German Cuisine, Turkish Dishes and some local eats, let’s get on to the food. 128521

So nachos isn’t German, Turkish or even local but it pairs well with some beer. But mannn…were their Nachos Deluxe GOOD. I couldn’t stop from getting piece after piece. I like the beef mix for it was just flavorful. It was made extra delectable with that egg on top (which was my first time seeing it on a nacho dish). As this is their deluxe serving, it is good for sharing. One could get a junior version of this for PhP 200. I’ll probably have that one all to myself next time. Hihihi 128512

Serving portions of a quarter (priced at P200) or half one (priced at 250) are options for their Brathaendl (Roast Chicken). All servings are served with two sides. Ours had fries and salad. Their fries were crispy while their salad just cleanses your palate. Both were good pairings to the tasty chicken. It was served with some gravy though to be honest, it didn’t need that. The marinade was so good that you could eat it on its own. The chicken was very tender too.

We were getting full by that time so we just had one stick of their Pork BBQ. I guess that wasn’t a good idea as it got me craving for another one. Hehe. The marinade on this was really good. It was rightly sweet which went nicely once dipped in the vinegar.

Its name suits it very well. Their Excalibur (Hanging Kebab) does seem mythical when it was presented to us. It’s definitely one of those conversation starters during some late dinner talks. And its taste will definitely get you talking too. The grilled meats (chicken and beef) were really tender and flavorful. It was paired with grilled veggies, yogurt dip and pita bread. I liked having all those components in as they just all worked together. Really yummy 🙂

And this was their grand finale: sausages! Two dips were served with the other’s name escaping my mind. But I preferred that mix over the mustard one for it added this sweetness to the sausage. I still enjoyed having the sausage with some mustard and sauerkraut. As for the sausages, both were prepared well. I preferred the curry wurst. Not sure if my preference for curry kicked in but I just find it more enjoyable than the other one.

No pictures i was so disappointed. Was here around 7pm on a weekday and ordered the nachos. Chicken with sidings and salad. When the our orders came out small roaches came out the table as well. So we transferred to another table. on the other table roaches came out again.. small greyish ones so we called out the server the moment we saw the roaches again. She doesnt seem surprise.. didnt pay the bill.. i dont think we were able to eat anything. so we just went out and we just lost our apetite. Yun nachos lang natikman ko sayang parang masarap.

Went here last friday for the team's lunchout! Actually not our first option to have our eat out but the others are so full so we ended up here and it's nice to know that its open again! They say it was closed for some time.

So we ordered the roasted half chicken with 2 sides for php250 for each of us. They have varieties of side dishes to choose from; I chose the salad and the grilled veggies for which I regret getting the grill veggies and should've gotten the buttered rice or the marbled potatoes instead. You could see the other variants of the side dishes in the photo attached to this review. The half chicken is more than enough for one person to feast in and its juicy and flavorful. Almost the same with S&R's roast chicken but larger. The serving is really fulfilling and because I was really hungry I finished the half chicken!

The place has also good lighting and I was happy that I was able to take a good photo of what we ate. The ambiance also is perfect for friday night hangouts since they also serve german beer and sausages. But if you're only here for a lunch out, then I recommend this place especially the roasted chicken set!

This restaurant serves German and Turkish dishes. It is also a bar that has a list of German beers. My family had dinner here and we had the chicken and beef donel, which is like a shawarma plate, single orders of beef and chicken kebab and we also got hummus and pita. One stick of kebab is enough for one person. It is big and comes with a pita and rice. I prefer the chicken kebab over the beef one. It is priced 250php. The donel was good and both the chicken and beef were tender and flavorful. It comes with fries and pita. The garlic sauce was a bit runny but the taste was okay. The hummus has olives in it which added a nice look. But it also tasted good. I like their pita because it is not thick. Their price is a bit higher but I think it's okay because it's not likely that we get to eat in McKinley area. Plus there was no tax.

I like the ambiance of this bar/resto. Perfect for after work/sports viewing with their huge TVs in and out of the place.

They serve sausages, wings, shawarma like food (forgot the name) and the usual beers and local drafts.

May be a bit pricey at 200++ per order of food.

But over all, not all people will like the place, but i sure do.

No more wine selection. :(

Service wasn't good even if there were only a few customers dining when we got there. Ignored. Good thing we were happy and in a good mood that we didn't unleash horror inside the place.

For all its worth, I love you, Paulaner. 128536

Something changed since I visited Wursty Wursty. My favorite Chilli com Carne is no longer the same. The variety of imported beers were out of stock. The playlist would make you fall asleep. The sausage and the kebabi just made me stay for a bit.

1 liter of Paulaner, Php350; 1 liter of Pale Pilsen Php200. Finally, affordable draft beers in Fort. Their Mojos are seasoned well and they give sliced watermelons for free, not sure why but that's fine!

A quick catch-up session with my high school friend over some German pica-pica!

He ordered a liter of Paulaner with sizzling sausage & fries (such a manly meal!) and I, on the other hand, ordered Nachos! I did not expect this moundful to be served at our table! 128561

Anyway, we liked the food over the juicy stories. And considering it was just for merienda, I was already full. 128540 The colorful nachos was just right with some slices of jalapeño and melted cheese on top, yummy!

And the sizzling sliced sausages? I would assume these would be great with German beer. But these alone are already enough to fill your belly. 128517

Overall, a good place for chill-outs especially on weeknights (cause afternoons can be quite lazy under the heat.) 128077

When they served my food, my initial reaction was 'Whooooaaah ang dami!!!'. I ordered the roasted chicken with rice and salad for only P300. I like the taste of the chicken and salad.

If you're looking for a place where you can drink loads of beer and eat lots of sausages, this is the place.

Their imported beers are in large sizes, even the mugs are made for giants. 128540127866

My friends had the 2L-sized beers but i opted for the canned Oettinger, a german beer claiming to be the best seller in its class. It was really good, at least for me. I'm a fan of lagers and the ones I've had usually are in the dense, heavy side but this one is balanced. 128077

The sausages on the other hand are really good, and it's expected because it's their concept 128076

The service was a bit slow maybe because they're undermanned. At first, the server was a bit cranky but I gave her my widest smile and my friendly lines so she eventually loosened up (i kinda think she doesn't like her job 128540).

For the ambiance, uhhmmm, I've been to better ones.
