We're back! Service here is really good, though the place was kind of warm. We ordered peking duck (special request of the kiddos), fish fillet with Xo sauce hot pot, hot prawn salad, scallops in fruit basket, efu noodles with seafood, and salted fish fried rice. Yummy naman!

Yummy Chinese food! Ordered Peking duck, cooked two ways; hot prawn salad, sweet & sour pork for the kids, tofu w scallops and vegie, fried rice and birthday noodles. All were very good; service is ok too. Best of all, everything was at 50off because of a credit card promo :)

Had lunch here with family last Saturday. DIMSUM BUFFET!

We ordered lots but the ff were the only ones that I liked:
• Ampalaya buchi (with chocolate filling)
I don't wanna try this at first because it says "ampalaya"-- and I don't eat ampalaya! 128553 But when I tasted this, it isn't bitter so I liked it. 10084
• Beef noodles
• Coffee pudding
It's too small, one piece isn't enough for me.
• Siopao

We ordered lots I can't remember everything! Beef noodles, hakaw, radish cake, chicken feet-- and a lot more it was Chinese madness on our table. 128514 Wasn't able to taste everything tho, it happened I just finished my 5-day fasting and my tummy wasn't ready for too much food that time.

Our server, Jun, was very attentive. He even told us the dimsums/dishes that has shrimp in it, so those family members with allergies could avoid those food.

First time to visit the place ... Oh the traffic 128557128547...Bday party of a client....

Chinese luriat , the juicy Peking duck was surprisingly good, 2nd way minced was just so so... Candid shots coz I'm not really close to the celebrant & other guest ... So trying to blend in & stay inconspicuous 9786

Sharks Fin soup , steam whole garoupa fish, spareribs, fried rice, encrusted prawns , bday noodles, desserts , just to name a few were all typically okay good but nowhere great .

Service though was tiresome ... need to keep calling the waitstaffs attention .... Place is clean with the prevalence of the color red typical of Chinese restaurants , festive & jolly atmosphere .

Dimsum buffet 128525 Celebrated my sisters birthday here last Saturday and stuffed ourselves silly! Burp!

They give you a list and you check the dishes you want to order. The more notable dishes for me were the Steamed Seafood Dumpling in superior stock 128525 Hakaw, steamed squid with garlic, fried mantao with condensed milk 128536, taro puff, congee with dried scallops & coffee jelly.. there are lots more dishes to choose from but we couldn't try all of them in one seating 128514 Didn't care much for the Xiao Long Pao as I found it quite dry 128563128529 no slurpy soupy goodness inside.

Overall the food was quite good! Service was another matter though 128513 Pretty slow I must say!

A chinese restaurant without house tea.

Food is average. Price is just right.

Service could be better. Calling waiters attention could be tiresome. We asked for the leftovers to be packed.. It took us 3 waiters to get it done.

If you're craving for heaps and heaps of dim sum and have a some spare money to splurge, I suggest you head on down to Xin tian Di. Because they have an unlimited dim sum buffet. Haha. 128114

No worries, they don't place everything in a huge table. What's nice about it it's still a sit down dinner, you order all you want via a checklist and they steam it fresh then bring it to you. Warning though that it would take a couple of minutes to get your requested order so I suggest you check everything you want to try and ask them to bring it already (sayang Ang buffet if you get full na). Well, may bayad if there are left overs so choose wisely. 128514 and you choose your dim sum per piece. So if you're 4 pax, you indicate in the check list that you want 4 pieces.

Some of you might think "ay, parang lugi". But I kind of like this set up because you're not forced to eat the whole thing. You can actually taste everything (a piece of this and that) and re-order what you like after in bulk (if you can still eat haha). It's lugi if you don't order a lot and in advance. We actually mastered It after the first round - when our order came in, we would give them the list of our next order na. So we never had a lag time. #waispaggutom 128514

The must remember dishes:
✔️ ampalaya Buchi with chocolate filling
- don't be deceived by the ampalaya, you can hardly taste it. It's sooo crunch and dark yummy chocolate will burst out of it after your first bite. Best... Dim sum dessert... Ever 128077
✔️ hakaw
✔️ fried noodles in soya sauce 128523
✔️ bean curd roll
✔️ chicken feet
✔️ lemon pudding (I forgot the name but it's the perfect pangtangal umay)

I would've given it a 3 star because it's actually pricey (1400+ Ata per person) but my friend was from JG summit and they get 50% OFF so we paid a p1000 each but we got the dim sum buffet and a bottle or Chardonnay. Sulit 128077

Again, it's a bit pricey and if you don't eat a lot, might skip this. But if you're into dim sum and want to enjoy a good catch up dinner with friends, this is a good place to go to. 128076

Ps: service was also good and ambiance is not too shabby (mas okay ambiance ng 7 corners though). But you can also have your parking validated so that's extra points if you're a tipid freak 128514128514

Went for the lunch dimsum buffet offered by Deal Grocer. Loved everything we ordered. Dimsum was not too dry, not too salty, not too soggy...yes it was just perfect. True to the taste of quality dimsum you will find in Hong Kong. Excellent service. Comfortable ambiance. Perfect place for long lunches.

My favorite is their taro puff, simply beautiful with the right texture of crispiness and tasty filling. Save room for dessert, ampalaya buchi, sesame buchi, iced jelly and coffee pudding...all so good!

I won't be ashamed of it: was able to eat here on Deal Grocer coupons! Sobrang wagi. Got the dimsum buffet and it was delicious! Just a tip though: come early when availing of this. Like 11ish. By the time everyone arrives (around 12) the place gets too hot, busy and everyone's in a mad rush to eat, so your orders will be competing with everyone else's. I was satisfied with today's experience though. Not bad. 128523 Kung walang DG coupon, puwede na rin. Although siyempre, mas ok kung meron. Hehehe!

We had lunch here with our balikbayan cousin from canada last week. We were excited to eat here again because we used to go here often before. Unfortunately, all the dishes we ordered were disappointing! I think there was just one dish that i liked but everything else was just bad. Even the simple dishes like dimsum were not good.

This quietly classy restaurant is found in Crowne Plaza Hotel. I had a lunch meeting here that was sponsored by one of the bosses and so I have no idea how much the food was priced. However, I must say that the buttered crabs, scallops and steamed fish were delicious. So get that! Avoid the birthday noodles as it was bland. Also, ask the waiter for their cold cuts--now that was tasty! They have laureate packages for big groups (that's what we had) and take their function rooms for some privacy. Overall, it was a delightful meal ( sorry no pictures, was on O.B. Lol)

I will never look at a Taro Puff the same way again. More on that later though.

Got a dealgrocer coupon for their unlimited dimsum buffet, so we only paid 759 per head instead of the full 1500 per head.

Ordering here is per piece, except for the soups and special orders like the squid, and can be especially deceiving if you don't know what to expect. We ordered (in no order):

4 radish cakes
4 pork siomai
8 hakaw
8 abalone mushroom dumplings with nuts
8 machang with chicken, mushroom and egg 8 taro puffs
8 salmon taro puffs
8 xiao long bao
2 orders of fried soy noodles
2 orders of wanton noodle soup with duck.

For dessert we had:
2 coffee pudding
1 taho with black pearls
1 fried mantou
1 buchi ampalaya

In general, the food was really good. I didn't break out in allergies when I had the seafood, indicating that it's good quality. They also have a pretty good selection of dimsum to choose from, so that's also a plus.

Their coffee pudding was light and creamy, just the right thing to remove the "umay" of everything else. Their ampalaya buchi is not really made from ampalaya. This is oozing chocolate filling in a green gelatinous wrapper, and then deep fried to make it look like ampalaya. 128559 clever, but they should note it down or else people won't be too excited about it.

I think when you eat here, it's best to ask about how big each piece is, and what certain things are made of, or else you could be eating way more eggs than you're supposed to. We ordered too many taro puffs, and were stuck with 10 pieces at the end (we paid 35 per piece leftover charge). The salmon taro puffs were made mostly of eggs, and we couldn't really even taste the salmon, so I believe this might need some improvement. I think there are two takeaways from this:

1. Don't be greedy. Order a few items, add on later. 128517
2. Never underestimate the filling capacity of a taro puff.128518

We had the celebratory dinner for my sister after her oathtaking last Saturday, Sept. 14 and over-all our dining experience at Xin Tian Di was great. We availed of the Deal Grocer offer of Peking Duck dinner and I'm just glad everything on the voucher was delivered as promised. The staff was very accomodating letting us come in early and set up at the function room even offering us glasses of water. Food was served in a timely manner and servings were huge. Undiscovered gem of a restaurant and would definitely come back in the future.
