Always excellent atmosphere and service.
The kilawin was delicious, the pinakbet was well seasoned, and the aligue rice was heavenly. Sadly, the lumpia ubod and callos were both disappointing.
Still, over-all, a great meal and a wonderful dining place to return to.

Filipino food specially prepared by cheerful crew! We had fun and enjoyed our stay using Tagalog as the language used.

First time to dine here with the family. Ordered kilawin, kare kare, crispy pata and laing. Kilawin was ok. Crispy pata is normal. Kare kare was a bit strange, but not on the good side. Laing was too salty. Unfortunately, not a Filipino restaurant i would go back too. The good part- they gave free cornicks, chocnut and small puto.

Experienced a unique selection of Pinoy food in this resto. We ordered ginataang santol, kare kareng crispy tadyang, laing, gambas, gising-gising, etc. Commendable are the kare kareng crispy tadyang (shown in my photo) and the ginataang santol. The kare kare is unique as the peanut sauce is served separately so you can control how much sauce you pour on the crispy tadyang served on a bed of steamed veges. I loved the crispiness of the tadyang! The bagoong served on the side was also good, not salty and with a hint of sweetness. The ginataang santol was very yummy topped with small crispy shrimps. Every bite was a delight! It's something new to my palate and I think it's my new favorite now! My friends and I found ourselves ordering more steamed rice to eat with the appetizing dishes. The sago't gulaman is also a must-try...very refreshing with generous servings of sago and gulaman. We also tried the cassava cake for dessert...another unique creation as it was drizzled with salted caramel and served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Really yummy! The serving is a bit small though so you may need to order a second plate if you're sharing. Would definitely recommend this place to family and friends for its unique-tasting Filipino food. The waiters and waitresses were even neatly dressed in nice Pinoy costumes. Will be back soon XO!

My officemates and I went to XO 46 Heritage bistro for lunch last Friday.Actually, we are looking for good restaurants in Estancia Mall. Finally, we end up getting a table at XO 46 Heritage bistro.

The ambience and place is good. The restaurant is not full so you need to wait.

We were given free Puto with Matikilia and Talaka dip while waiting for our order. We ordered Laing, Talaka Rice, Lechon Kawali and Chicken Inasal style. The food in the restaurant are good and not expensive.

The service is so bad.We kept calling the waitress attention but they are not looking.

I recommend this restaurant if you like to eat Filipino dishes. You have to be early to go Estancia Mall to get a good parking.I like to go back to try their other dishes.

After purchasing items from west elms and pottery barn, decided to have dinner with my lavidabby. Choose this place for our cravings for Pinoy food. We have been here many times, but I always forgot to take pics and put it on review. It's just I'm not interested with their food really. Lavidabs really like here but me?
---not that much... I just have the urges to review this. For once! I think---

I ask him to order whatever he likes so we can share. He ordered adobong pusit I don't like the taste somethings missing compared it to the "adobong pusit" that I used to eat in other restaurant or even at home. It's blunt, plain and un-appetizing. For my opinion of course. For me not recommended. although all of their viands are with a twist just like that! like Laing with lemon, boiled fried pork sinigang sa miso, kinunot with pineapple. Those are not the authentic ones. But they were delish if it's your first time eating those viand that I mentioned. Don't like what they did to the kinunot the coconut milk is creamy top with grilled pineapple rings. I tasted the authentic one. Lavidabs is bicolano so most of the rare authentic food of Bicol natikman ko na. But that is their version.

Anyway he also ordered vegetable okoy. That's was ok. But I never felt full. So I ordered mangga with bagoong. This doesn't includes in their menu but u can order this and they charge you equivalent as green mango shake! Just to cover the missing part haha besides that's my favorite! They speak fluent tagalog. the kare-kare is good. Taste it the first time we've been. Maybe I just don't like normal food with a twist. I like the way it should be specially the authentic ones!

This place is overrated. The lechon kawali was OK. The sinigang sa miso which tasted like tomyum was quite average. I was unhappy sisig, kinunot na lapu lapu and the stuffed crab. It all tasted the salty bordering on the bitter already. Dining experience was an epic fail for me.

Food
All good! Except the Humba - we find it not the typical one. Although they named it Humba Ng Tacloban.

Loved their pork binagoongan and ginataang sigarilyas. Really Delish! Salmon sinigang was good too though I'm not a fan of salmon with soup.

The complimentary puto was good too.

Service
Fair.

Cleanliness
Food Safety Alert: management needs to resolve issues of the presence of flies. Although they're putting lit candles in the center table, it's still not the answer. Flies brings disease, a serious food safety risk! I'm giving a low grade because of this, not of the food.

Originally planned to go to Sentro 1771 to celebrate my birthday, but since we have to walk from Estancia mall going there (ok di pweds cos my lolo and lola are weak already) We decided to eat here instead!

Loved the ambiance, plus points pa cause i enjoyed looking at the staff's costume! Hehe. Anyway, onto the food...

127860 Sinigang na Liempo — Loved this one!! Right amount of asim at anghang!! 128571

127860 Calamari — Ultimate favorite!!! Love love love this one. This is legit one of the tastiest calamari that i've had in a loooooong time 10084

127860 Tinapa Rice — Might come back here kahit for this lang!! Loved it!! Kahit ito lang, sepet ne! 128561

127860 Pancit Luglog — Not a faaaaaan. Too salty for my taste. Plus it tasted weird :-(

Forgot what the tahong and talong was called but both was a so-so for me.

First bite, medyo okay yung tahong then in middle you start to taste the "lansa" that it has. Okay sana if it wasn't malansa :-(
For the talong, it was okay. Hit na hit siya for my grandma and grandpa but for me, okay laaang 128129🏽

Despite the three dishes that made me "128532".... I'd still come back here! Such a nice place to dine with your fam.

Food - Ordered kare-kareng crispy tadyang, kinilaw na tanigue sa dayap, lumpiang ubod, sugpo sa aligue, buko lychee shake and sago't gulaman. Karekare is good for 3 persons. Vegetables, meat and sauce are not yet mixed. Nothing special. Kinilaw is the reason why I keep coming back to this restaurant. One of the best kinilaw na tanigue. It's good for 3 persons. Lumpiang ubod is fried; I didn't like it. Sugpo sa aligue is good but a bit pricey. It's good for 4 persons. Buko lychee is not good, won't order it again. Sago't gulaman is good, order this! Oh, there's free puto and chocnut! :)

Place - It's inside the mall. Enough space. Cool servers; they speak everything in Tagalog!

In general, it's not that affordable but food is good.

Food is okay but service needs A LOT of improvement because of the following:

1. The waiters are not properly trained how to serve hot dishes and drinks around kids. They served 2 cups of tea and boiling soup right thru and right in front of our toddlers. This is plain common sense.

2. They charge P300 corkage for bringing in a cake for our mom's birthday if it would be eaten inside. Plus, the waitress won't light the candle and just handed the lighter to us with upset face like it's not her job.

3. Waiters are not very friendly. They seem like they're forced to serve.

4. Appetizer arrived later than the main dishes.

5. Service is really slow. We were done eating before our orders were completed.

NOTE THAT WHEN WE ARRIVED AND ORDERED, THERE WEREN'T A LOT OF PEOPLE. There were only 2 tables occupied aside from ours.

Friends said their service in Aura branch is way better than Estancia.

Final judgement? Definitely not going back to this branch. Food isn't something you'd crave for anyway.

I loved the interiors. I loved the service the Pinoy way ---- not kidding, the crew speaks all Filipino. How's puto na may mantekilyang dilaw at kahel as a starter? 128077128526 The food is not overwhelming in taste. We ordered kare-kare, ensalada and gising gising. Thumbs up for the gising gising!!! I so love it. The spicy kick makes you crave for more.

Late review: We ordered the sinigang na lechon kawali which was good since it had lechon kawali!!! Laing but this one was too pasty... Skip this dish. Bangus salpicao which didn't really look like salpicao — more like breaded fish fillet.

Service wasn't that good. We were a big group and we ordered additional food because we were "bitin"... But the kitchen / wait staff (don't know which one really) decided not to process our additional order because our table was booked for another group due to come in after 15 mins. They shouldn't have accepted our order na lang for the additional rather than making us wait for nothing.

Anyway, still an experience... Shall I return here? Maybe if I'm in the area and nobody will pressure us to finish our food quick because another group will use our table. 128533

An experience that takes you back in time. Servers dressed in Filipiniana outfits and speaking in Tagalog in a Balagtasan (?) intonation. It took some time for me to comprehend some of the words and Dolores didn't mind answering our queries. She also addressed us as Señorito and Señorita, phrases I haven't heard since I was in grade school!

On the table
Ginataang Sigarilyas - super good and loved the sauce. Not too spicy
Okoy - giant and addicting. The first dish that got wiped out.
Escabecheng Tilapia - we requested for the sauce to be served on the side. It was just ok. Nice that it wasn't too sweet.
Pansit Lucban - very oily and lacked seasoning. It paled in comparison to the other flavorful dishes.
Sinigang na Lechon Kawali - pork pieces were fried (obviously) and the broth had just the right amount of sourness.

While waiting Dolores gave us complimentary puto made in house, served with Mantikilyang Kahel (butter w/ aligue) and Matamis na Mantikilya (sweet butter). Both were really good especially the aligue butter!

When we asked for our bill she asked for Mom and Lola's Tarhetang Pangdiskwento (Senior Citizen card)

Other amusing translations
Inuming Pampadighay - Softdrinks
Hamog sa Bundok - Mountain Dew
Pepsi Todo - Pepsi Max
Pepsi Magaan - Pepsi Light
Inuming Kinalog - Shake

Hubby's lola loved the whole experience and I bet we'll be back again soon.

*Portions are for sharing. We over ordered and brought home the leftovers.

The Kare-kareng Crispy Tadyang and Sugpo sa Aligue were heaven sent! Mas nakatutuwang muling marinig ang "Talaan" (Menu). Will definitely be back! 128076128521

The buko lychee shake for the win! We tried the gambas, spicy salted squid, bagoong rice which were all good but the fried chicken was quite a disappointment.

This brings back childhood memories... My all-time favourite Filipino dessert, ginataan. The way that this establishment cooked this delicacies really captured the traditional way of preparing it. Coupled with great Filipino serving experience. I highly recommend this restaurant especially their makati branch.

Ordered Bangus Salpicao (since it's meatless Friday) but was told by waitress after 5 minutes that kitchen ran out of stock -- seriously, you ran out of stock, at 11:30 am, with only a few tables occupied? How many orders did your kitchen prepare for, one??? Then, after waiting another 30mins for my food to arrive, they bring plain rice, when I ordered garlic rice!

Hubby ordered adobong pusit - while the sauce is yummy, the squid itself is chewy tough and rubbery -- obviously their cook doesn't know how to prepare squid properly!

This resto needs to shape up -- they may be getting customers now bec not a lot of restos are open yet at Estancia, but once the other places open I'm pretty sure this place will be a ghost town!
