No photos because I devoured everything they served. From the white cheese sticks to the molo soup, to the gising gising down to the beef adobo and lechon kawali. Service was prompt & they even gave us a space at the function room when we complained that the table's legs weren't balanced. A bit pricier than Mesa, yes, but if you want a bit of klazzz with your Pinoy food, why not? 128077

While waiting for the This Time featuring JaDine at SM Aura Cinema, I had a quick merienda at XO46 Heritage Bistro located at the lower floor of the mall from SM Cinema level.127847 The server greet me in "malalim na Filipino words and asked my order in Filipino". I got Special Halo-halo 11088110881108811088️ 4/5 and Ginataang Halo-halo 11088110881108811088️ 4/5.

While waiting for my orders he served me a complimentary Puto (Ube, Pandan and Original served in Aligue Butter and Butter) 1108811088110881108811088️ 5/5 and Corniks plus the "bugtong" (riddle). Hehehe

I did not finished my Iced Halo-halo but I managed to take it out due to the limited time. BTW, the service 128588🏼128077🏼 #ilovetoeat 12851510084️ #XO46HeritageBistro

Extraordinary 46!

My dad was eyeing on this restaurant and so we celebrated his birthday lunch here. A pretty place where the servers were dressed in Filipiñana and Barongs. They even speak in native tongue. So cool. That made us entertained. lol. 128517

Instead of celebrating his birthday with buffet lunch, we had a feast. From complimentary colorful putos with bugtong, the yummiest gambas we had in our life, lol! It has no tabasco or ketchup instead it has chili oil. Yum! Pancit binondo, ginataang sigarilyas, pritong manok, isang bandehadong puting kanin which were all fine. What I enjoyed was the crispy pata. It falls out the bone. 128525 perfect! I also had buko lychias na kinalog or buco lychee shake. 128517 It's good too!

We had casava cake with salted caramel! Ftw! 128525128525128525

Food was OK. Until we saw a COCKROACH threatening to fall on our table. The waiter also forgot all about the shake which one of us ordered. Poor management! Manager did not even have the initiative to offer reparation for the anguish caused. Finally, come bill time, there was a malicious insertion of XO Blend coffee no one ordered. To top it all off, we are being made to pay for this bad service (despite our protest!!!! >:( )

Another overdue review. 128517

One of the restaurants that recently opened in SM Aura is XO46 Heritage Bistro. My family loves Filipino food so they were excited to try it out. Mom was able to try their branch in Salcedo Village and she kept on raving about it.

Their interiors remind me of ancentral homes I would often see in the provinces. Very pretty I must say. 128522 We were welcomed by servers wearing traditional and elegant Filipiniana attire. They would also speak in fluent Tagalog and don't be surprised if they address you as señor or señorita. Impressive.

Moving on to the food. Each table was served with complimentary appetizers-- chichacorn and puto. My sister happily munched on the crunchy chichacorn while I enjoyed their yummy puto. It was soft and buttery. I liked it as is but you can opt to spread some aligue butter on top (I forgot what the other butter was). I want to take home a box of puto next time!

Mom chose the mains. We shared Lechon Sisig, Laing and my personal request, Lechon Manok sa Anato. I was starting to get impatient because it's taking them a long time to serve our food. We waited for about 40 minutes before it arrived. 128554 I can only eat the chicken because it's grilled. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. Too salty!! If wait time wasn't that long and I'm not starving, I would have considered returning the dish and ask for replacement. My parents tried it and they had the same comment, so I had no choice but to finish it since I was the one who ordered it. 128553 The three of them obviously enjoyed the Lechon Sisig and wiped out the plate in no time. Parents said the Laing was okay but not comparable to the legit ones they eat in Bicol.

Serving size was small so I don't find it really sulit. I'm not sure if I'd be interested to come back, or probably I will just for the puto. 128517
