Okay who doesnt love to pay lower price for good food? 128512 Yakimix offers Php499 on weekdays and around Php500++on weekends. I love sashimi and my husband is crazy about tempura 128541 so its crazy when we get to eat at Yakimix. The price comes with drinks and of course the dessert is also a big plus! I mean from ice cream to cakes to sweet puddings! I will not elaborate this review because I know almost everyone has tried Yakimix 128539 but if you havent you wont be sorry 128522

T'was my first time to try Yakimix. We're supposed to go to the Prime on BGC, but we ended up at GreenBelt. 128556

Sooo, the highlight of the dining experience was the Tempura. I am allergic to seafoods, but I've tried it, and it's good. My friends were so fond of it that they took whatever's on the buffet table 128514 (and we kept laughing because it's embarrassing. Nagtuturuan Na nga sila Kung sino next kukuha) 128514128514

Anyway, the rest of the food are good too. The place is also good for conversations. 128513 which we needed the most since we rarely go out.

Had dinner here yesterday.
Came here at 5 30 pm. Hoping to make "sulit" the buffet !

By 7 30 pm, we were all so full. I find the food just so-so. Some were hits and some were misses.

I did like the sushi spread, japanese chopsuey, potato spring roll.

I didn't like the italian meatballs, special fishball, seafood soup.

The raw selection seems lesser than the last time I came here. Mmmm feels like lots of things are missing.

Dessert wasn't wow as well. I got coffee jelly and it was too hard, like rubber already. Too much gelatine in it. The Pannacotta had the same texture as well. Candy selection wasn't crazy over it.

Glad they have nescafe coffee! My fave caramel macchiato was available. Yum. 974997499749

Price was just okay, around 600 plus for weekday dinner. 127860128539

At first glance, the Yakimix branch at Greenbelt all the critical features of a luxurious restaurant. The ambiance is certainly an inviting one. Courteous, smiling staff greet you at the door and lead you to cozy array of seats. The aisles are spacious enough to prevent any unfortunate collisions of human bodies during "rush hour." The lighting gives you that soft, homey feeling that stimulates your appetite and makes you want to let your guard down and relax. The service is decent--well, thanks to that!

food - 5 (delicious esp. their choc fudge cake, pesto pasta and the DESSERT SIDE)
service - 4 (accommodating crew)
ambiance - 4 (peaceful)
pricing - 5
cleanliness - 4

This is a go-to restaurant when my friends and I are in the mood to eat buffet style, that's relatively cheap. Went here on a Friday without any reservation and the place was still packed at 8:30PM. We had our names listed by someone who seemed hesitant to take in more customers--the tone of his voice was as if he was trying to convince us to just leave. We were seated at 9PM, which meant we still had a good 2 hours to eat 128513

As always, I proceed to the Japanese station first. Got the usual spread of sushi, sashimi and assorted maki. As expected, the options weren't fresh, but good enough. The wasabi had a weird texture too, like it was powder.

Am not much of a fan of the grill as well, as it was typically just some meat that had too much fat or some veggies wrapped in bacon.

It was a plus that soda was free as well as an option of juice. The coffee machine was out of order when we ate here though, but as far as I remember, the coffee wasn't that good either.

Dessert options were fine. There weren't any whole cakes when we arrived though (but weren't they suppose to refill it?) so had to make do with the mini cakes. Wanted to have halohalo but the crushed ice was no longer available. And there was this yellow ice cream thing--can't define if it was cheese, mango or langka--I stopped eating after a couple of bites, as it tasted weird, like rotten milk.

Overall, at the end of it all, my friends and I were pretty satisfied with the quantity of the food we ate. But quality and customer service-wise, Yakimix is WAY behind the other buffet options out there.

We had a great lunch here at YakiMix. Got our lunch voucher for only P449 through Metrodeal (regular price of P559).

I did love both Japanese and Korean dishes (love how the kimchi was prepared with the right spices).

Generally, the food and service was good. Just wish they'd update their buffet (sorry but we couldn't help but compare theirs with Buffet 101, which really stands out). Drinks are also quite limited (no fruit juices except for the lemonade and juice).

I see a lot of potential on YakiMix since they have very good locations. With the rising cost of buffets, customers like us also look for places with better value for money.

Yakimix is a Japanese buffet restaurant at affordable price. I have been to different buffet restaurants with wide array of choices as for my experience in Yakimix, here's my comments:

The verdict:
The place: this place is always full and the waiting line is always long. Good thing we were able to get a seat while waiting, but we waited an hour to get our table. I think reservation in this place is highly recommended.
The food: The dining area is big enough to roam around but few choices of food to choose from. Considering its a Japanese restaurant, sometimes they run out of tempura because people get plates and plates of tempura. Another one the ebi tempuras are small unlike other restaurants serving big of a kind. There are a lot of Maki lined up, go grab all you want.
The service: the service is quite poor and they don't entertain much the guest waiting in line. The dessert time is my favorite but i wasn't happy also with their choices.
The price: less than Php 1000 / head

They don't have as much options and don't have the same quality compared to other buffet restos, but I'm giving this visit a 4.5 because of the cheaper price compared to other buffet restos (I didn't pay because of the 7 days before/after birthday promo), that my companions and I didn't wait that long even though I didn't make reservations, the almost-good service, and the simple fact that it's Friday and I'm in a great mood 128522128077

Office Christmas dinner..Yakimix was actually our last option since all the other buffet places were booked solid 128529

This place just isn't what it used to be, the food was mediocre at best, salmon and tuna sashimi were sliced so thin 128557 shrimp took forever to refill (actually most every dish) some of the cooked dishes were just bleh 128547 Sigh....

Used my coupon bought from MetroDeal. I got to save some P200+ thanks to this deal.

Didn't eat much b'fast so that I could eat more at lunch. Grilling was my fave in Yakimix. You get to grill your own food; and it's smokeless too. Good thing that drinks were also bottomless.

The other food choice were good as well. From chicken to beef to pork to veggies and a whole lot more. I wasn't able to try 'me all because there were soooo many food choice. There were also premium desserts; from cakes to coffee to candies and more!!!

Forgot to mention my fave, the rolled up on stick string beans (I attached a photo of it). Grill it to bring out the flavor...

I would definitely love to come back and have another buffet.1278601278351278371278441278291278281278391278669749127858127874127846127850127849
