I remember the first time I ate at Yakimix. I got sick the next day because I ate too much (and I was still a kid that time, huhu). But this time, coming again and I’m a bit old, I was able to control and ate the most out of it. I had Yakimix Dates before that *always* got cancelled the last minute but this time thankfully, it pushed through. (Maybe because it’s spontaneus.) So I had some meat to grill. But mostly I got cooked food. Gyoza, Cheese Stick (FAVE!), Sisig, Fish Fillet, Chicken, Fries, Orange Chicken, Pizza, Pork and Nachos. Yum! I really enjoyed the sweet treats. Ended the meal with more fries (Okay, I am so inlove with the fries! By far the tastiest fries I’ve tasted!) and some hot milo and topped it with marshmallows (Feeling hot choco?!! Hahaha)

The selection is wide. I'm just not a fan of me cooking my food 128557. This is a good place for family and friends since you can chat while waiting for your food to be cooked.

Hah! We waited for two hours outside this resto but I must say that it was worth the wait. I'm not a fan of japanese food, anyways, but I loved their beef, pork bbq and desserts. I just noticed that they were not refilling the shrimp tray and the place wasn't that clean. 128530 Price-wise, it was affordable and 'sulit' especially when you're very guTom Jones! Hehe 128513

I'm a big fan of all-you-can-eat restaus. And perhaps Yakimix was my favorite one. Okay, I'm a little biased because I love japanese food. This place was like sushi heaven! Everywhere I looked, there was sushi, maki..all that kind of stuff. What I loved was the raw selection. Tiger shrimps, thinly sliced beef strips (marinated with a sauce I don't know, tasted like hickory, but I still ate it because it was so good!) and those with mushrooms or asparagus.

They also serve dimsums, nachos, pizza..I'm not quite sure what the whole menu was but if you're not a fan of japanese food, I bet you could still find something to fill yourself up.

And finally, me having a sweet tooth, would not miss the fruits, desserts and cake display! Fresh fruits. Halo halo all you can. Cheesecakes, mousses and panna cotta. And all you can sprinkle on your ice cream. I felt like a very happy kid.

I could barely breathe when I stopped refilling my plate. My mind says just one more. But then I shook my head and said til next time. Now if I could only have that talent of stuffing everything I see inside my mouth.

Noticed that they were not refilling the meat selection for the grill. Where did all the beef go? :( Happy with the green mangoes and the desserts.

Probably the most affordable buffet! Also, don't forget that Yakimix is a smokeless grill restaurant. Though the air-conditioning system is a little poor but all in all it's really sulit! Been here thrice this month 128055

Taste of tempura declined a little but I love their new choices of Japanese food.

I like the new coffee machine in the dessert bar 128077 it's not bad coffee, trust me, I tried the caramel macchiato.

Raw food to be grilled still lacked flavor.

Fewer choices compared to near buffets but nicer Jap. food . 128522

Tempura and other Japanese food. Nuff said. I would die of happiness if they add cheesecakes in their dessert bar.

We were celebrating our monthsary when we decided to go to MOA to look for my monthsary gift. My hubby was searching for a gift when I heard my tummy rumbling it was like around 4:30ish when we passed through yakimix, I've never tried eating there since every time I pass by there, a lot of people are waiting outside and I don't have enough patience to wait. But it was so timing that there was only few people in the waiting list, so I told my hubby it's okay if we'll try there.

So we waited for our names to be called and voila after 1 hour we entered the place. I expected less since it's not that expensive unlike other buffet but well since I'm a sushi/maki/sashimi lover I was expecting a lot from their Japanese corner. But boohoo it was like few varieties to choose from and the other dishes/food were like average. I didn't also like their prepared grilled food since some of them were bland and I didn't even taste seasonings.

Sorry for the review, I was expecting less not from their Japanese menu variety since they are considered Japanese resto. Oh will never go back there.

I'd rather try some others Japanese buffet resto.

My 7th Buffet dining in 2months!!!

I haven't checked my review lists if i already submitted all those 7 dining outs i've had with my family in 2 months!128513.....gained weight tuloy!128078

From Yakimix to Dad's to Tramway!

Anyways, i suppose this will be the last Smorgasbord for the year 2012! duh!
But since Holidays is coming, i'm sure there'll be more kainan i have to attend!

This was taken last Sunday with my family in MOA. I've been here before i think twice na with my in-laws. I just didn't enjoy it as much. Knowing the generosity of other restos , i wasn't as happy! 128533

Overall, sige na nga since it was my nephew's 8th Birthday celebration, i had fun and nabusog din naman.128523

Sadly, my mom left her Senior ID card at home so no discount availed plus my nephew's bday is on a Monday, we were there Sunday Dec.1 so no more FREE celebrant buffet. Boo!128078
