Of course, a visit to Yakitori One wouldn't be complete without ordering Takoyaki (3pcs/stick at P88). This is my fave takoyaki ever. I was feeling a bit hungry so I also ordered the Tempuradon, a rice meal topped with 3pcs tempura shrimp with bits of seaweed and pickled ginger. It's kinda hit and miss for this one though. The rice is authentic japanese rice. OMG it's so good. But the tempura itself is not too perfect for me. The batter is kinda hard and the dip is just kikoman. The dip at Tokyo Tokyo is better. I love me some good tempura dip. Don't order drinks, they're too expensive. A medium sized soft drink is priced at P50. The kimchi is too expensive too. At P39, it's so bitin.

I also ordered chicken karaage for take out. I hope it's as good as their takoyaki.

All in all, I still liked it here and I wanna try the other offerings especially the chicken thigh.

After window shopping with my fabfam here we go again looking for something new to eat and we got fascinated by the way this japanese cuisine was cook, so we wanted to try YAKITORI ONE, it seems like its yummy and they cook their Yakitoris on a machine/oven and some was cooked on a griller, where they clip the yakitori sticks upside down then goes into the oven and when it comes out it is already cooked.

We had ordered different sets of yakitori. Cut steak (Php60); Fried Tofu (Php30); Quail Egg Pork Wrap (Php50) ; Salmon Belly (Php50) ; Tempura (Php50) - It was delicious but kinda bitin if you have a big appetite but this is Ok for my appetite.128525128523128077🏻 I don't like full tummy.

You can find this Japanese Cuisine at Food on Four, Fourth Floor, SM Aura Premier, C5 Road Corner 26th Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

Their food choices are pretty clear. You could opt to just snack on any of their yakitori sticks or have it with rice.

Surprisingly, this was good. It had good amount of meat inside and was flavorful.I will surely try some of their yakitoris, some other days..128513128513128077🏻

As I was in a hurry as I have other errands to do...
so I decided to go to Yakitori One as orders there are fast and in a way 128523. So I got a combo meal and an extra stick

127860 Combo includes (asparagus pork wrap, quail egg pork wrap, sausage pork wrap) + a stick of fried tofu. Obviously, from the combo that I chose (I think its P1) I 128156 bacon 128513. The sauce is good and goes well with all the different bbqs. I like how the tofu was cooked. Not oily and has a nice crunch to it. Considering it's fried, the tofu is still firm yet silky and soft.

Overall, my meal was 128076🏻, however it's kinda pricey. The combo meal is at 205php with 127834 (without drinks) and tofu 30php.

Just a 128221, for those with a hearty appetite i think 1 meal is not enough considering the serving portion is kinda small. For rice eaters, watch out, their serving is "bitin"for you.

I always get takoyaki at Yakitori One coz it's the best I've had among all takoyaki stalls/places I've tried. Three pieces per serving at P89. A bit pricey compared to others but it's all worth it grabe. Hehe I am addicted na eh! I could eat this all day. 128523128523128523

We enjoyed all these sinful stuff: 128540128055
- Chicken skin
- Chicken thigh
- Asparagus pork wrap
- Quail eggs pork wrap

Tip: You may want to request the server to separate the sauce when you order the rice meal so you can control the saltiness9757🏻️

After our very quick trip to the Korean embassy, we went to Aura to have lunch (cos all of the restos along McKinley were still closed 128513)
Decided to check out the food court; we've always passed by it and it looked so pretty and intriguing. Went our separate ways and after going around I chose yakitori one. I like yakitori so why not?
Studied their menu and ate server told me that one of their bestsellers is #15 which had 1 stick of quail eggs, 1 stick of chicken thigh and a stick of steak. I also ordered extra chicken skin. Total bill was php350. Pretty pricey IMO, could've eaten in a 'proper' resto for the price.
Noticed that all of the sticks were being dipped in their special sauce so I told her not to dip the steak and chicken skin.
Just meh for me. Everything tasted the same cos of the sauce. The steak was a bit tough too. Ended up not finishing my dish.
I know it's just fast food so I shouldn't expect much but for the price I wasn't happy at all 128529

Just a quick review of the Takoyaki I ordered at Yakitori One at the food court area in SM Aura. I've never had Takoyaki here in the country and the first time I've tasted it was in Osaka, Japan. I ordered it for take out since it was almost closing time. They told me I had to wait 10mins for my order since it's made-to-order already. Good thing I waited since I really think their Takoyaki is soooo good. The sauce, the toppings. 3 pieces for P88 is so bitin though! I will definitely come back for more.

Got their Chicken Don #5 that consisted of Chicken Onion Leek, Chicken Bell Pepper and Chicken Thigh. The chicken meat was tender and I really liked their sauce. The onion leek pieces were tough to chew on though. Prolly was a tad overcooked. For P228, this was one good and filling meal. 128077

Thanks to Taguig Day, I had free time to do errands that I always put aside. I was able to clean my place, do laundry, and other boring adult stuff. After overexerting myself and going mad cleaner, I decided to reward myself by having late lunch at SM Aura. When I got there, I realized that I’m not interested in any of the restaurants in the mall. And since I was feeling a bit stingy, I went to the sort of classy food court, Food on Four, instead of dining at a restaurant and spotted Yakitori One.

Hello, Yakitori One.

There was a long line when I last saw Yakitori One, about two years ago. Lines have this strong power to get rid of me so I didn’t bother lining up to try its dishes. But this time around, the food court was like a ghost town so I finally gave Yakitori One a try.

I went with #13, Chicken Thigh, Chicken Karaage and Pork Butabara (PHP218). I added PHP20 for iced tea.

At first, I was thinking that three sticks might be a bit too much since I was nursing a very ill stomach that day. But… nope. Apparently, I could still eat no matter what.

I first tried the chicken thigh and it tasted like chicken teriyaki, only it was skewered. It was tender and juicy and was quite enjoyable. The pork butabara was tender too but it was drizzled with too much sauce making it a bit too flavorful. I ended up eating more rice and ginger with this one.

The chicken karaage went nicely with the other two dishes as it provided a different texture. It was also the least sweet dish as it was not glazed with the teriyaki sauce (or so I think was teriyaki sauce). It was crunchy on the outside and juicy in the inside. It was deeelightful! (It made me wish that I just ordered the dish with two chicken karaage sticks. It was cheaper too!)

Overall, it was a filling and value for money lunch. (Though it was not exactly ill-tummy friendly because of the oil and too much flavor going on.)

Decent food court yakitori (skewered Japanese food), this Yakitori One. About under P200 for a 2 piece Butabara (Pork Belly), in fact it's about P150. Other skewers like Beef BBQ, Steak and Chicken Thigh are about P70 per piece.

Good marinate on these different flavors. I had the beef BBQ and beef wrapped asparagus. While my wife Trina B had the Butabara meal. I actually bought Frankie's NY Buffalo Wings. Separate review yan.

Sorry Odell R and Peanut D, the eating hasn't stopped but the reviews have (for now) due to work. Anyway, this is a quick one after watching a movie with the missus. (it was the sequel to One More Chance... 128522).

P.S. Sorry for the terrible pic.

Finally tried this food stall at the SM Aura Food Court!

I've read reviews saying their barbecue sticks are small and therefore you don't really get bang for your buck. But after trying it today, it's actually not that bad.

I had the 2 piece chicken thigh stick (about 120-140 I think) and then added another quail egg (wrapped with bacon) stick. #takotmagutom

It came with a good chunk of rice and also a good chunk of sugary sauce. For those trying to watch their sugar/weight, you might think this is a healthy choice but with all the drizzled sauce both on the meat and the rice, you might want to think twice.

Their miso soup also isn't that bad. Then again, have you ever tried bad miso soup?? 128558

Overall, I liked my quick meal. It was filling and not too pricey. 128522

First of all the price is quite high being in Aura, not sure if same in other places but for the serving size it is. i commend the server for being patient and accommodating since i availed of a perk using a certain card and she also offered extra sauce/chili powder.

Ate here with a colleague around 1pm and we were hungry already, food came fast but first impression was the small bowl. That would've been fine but for regular appetites, the met is so small. I got the asparagus, bacon wrapped quail egg and chicken. Taste wise its fine but i think the sauce is what made it good although it was too sweet.

Yakitori  grilled chicken, is a Japanese type of skewered chicken. The term "yakitori" can also refer to skewered food in general.  The Filipino version of which is called Barbeque.

I've been to Yakitori One multiple times,  i have an affinity with skewered food.  I may have tried almost everything in their menu.  From the hypertension-inducing chicken skin down to the fried tofu.  Today,  I ordered the JFC (Japanese Fried Chicken)  for variety.  Yes,  that is the most unoriginal name in the milky way galaxy.

This is the saddest fried chicken that I've ever seen. The serving is small,  this can be good for some who is counting calories and bad for individuals who has a big appetite.  The taste is just okay,  not remarkable, a lil oily.  The JFC is similar to chicken karaage.  Deep fried chicken meat laced with batter.  The meat is juicy,  goes well with the japanese mayo dip.  Overall,  this is a quick fix for someome who is in dire need of protein.

Will i come back?  Yes,  but I'll skip the chicken,  i'll stick to the skewered stuff.

Not impressed by the grilling but the taste is okay and I like that it's not too sweet and that they have at least a decent kind of meat.

The bbq was excellent, but the price not so much. We paid almost P200 for three little skewers, whereas we got a whole plate of equally good food for less than that at other vendors.

What a waste of money. 128532

I was looking for something healthy. A salad perhaps? And here I went to Yakitore.

I ordered their salad with seaweeds, I forgot its name. It looks like it won't satisfy my hunger. 128530

I had a bite of it and I can taste something odd. I kept on delving it and I can taste too much garlic perhaps? It also felt like scrap of greens and too much mayo. 128542
