When you're out at 12:30am looking for food that's not from Jollibee or Mc Donald's, you'll never know what you'll find if you're lucky. Yamashita used to be this small Korean convenience store beside 50's Diner. To my delight, they close at 2:00am. Inside, space is as scarce as any Japanese nook. There's the 6-seater bar across the kitchen. At the far end was a television airing what seemed to be the Japanese version of 'The Voice'. Sushi is cheap so you can order as much as you want. You'll be glad to find this oasis in a cold city once you've tasted their beef sukiyaki.

You won't have any problem paying respects to the chef; you will finish anything they serve you.

Located just beside the 50's Diner. It is a small ramen bar which can accommodate less than 10 customer at a time. It's a good thing that I dine alone that time since there is only one seat available. I ordered Regular Spicy Ramen and Small Gyoza. Spicy Ramen tasted quite salty and not really that spicy for me. Gyoza is quite crunchy, maybe it has been fried too much. Serving size is big almost good for sharing. Everything just costed me less thanP200. The place is not bad for it price but still need more improvement, I think, since It has just opened few months back. But worth a try when craving for a hot noodles store in Baguio.

My boyfriend and I had a heavy lunch and was thinking of something lighter for dinner. The temperature here in Baguio was 18degrees and it was raining. Perfect ramen weather! We both ordered the Pork Ramen (P190) and an order of Avocado California Roll (P120). The rice for the rolls were too sticky for me, crab and avocado flavor was lost because of the heavy drizzles of mayo on top. Three stars for this dish. Ramen met my ramen expectations. Pork was really tender and there was a hefty serving. Noodles were chewy and the soft boiled egg was superb, broth could have been better. Overall a pleasant meal for me and boyfie!

Small hole in the wall place serving ramen, and rice toppings. Price range is 100-300 pesos. Ramen was okay, and they had an interesting curry rice entree. Staff were friendly and accommodating, clean and efficient.
