Right beside Mitsuyado Sei-Men (where we went for dinner) is the Yamato Bakery, which we explored while waiting for dinner to be served by its neighbor.

First impression was that everything looks way too good to eat. Why destroy those perfectly cute and beautiful pastries and desserts? I'd rather starve. Just kidding! 128523

I forgot what we got. We kind of just started putting whatever pastry we can get our hands on on our trays. The 50% off (because it's almost closing) didn't help to slow us down. 128514 Just feast your eyes on the photos of the great-looking merchandise.

And just like how they look, everything was great! I wish they'd have more branches.

OMG YAMATO PASTRIES ARE SO GOOD. That's my reaction after my first visit at their Blue Bay Walk, Pasay. Why have I just come across this bakery just now? Better late than never? At least I got to enjoy them now? 128523

I had some pastries for dine in and brought more, even a box full of them goodies, home. All the pastries were good but not all super duper good. I have to point out my favorites.

1. Blueberry danish - super duper good! definitely one of the best of its kind in the Metro for me, so far. loved how awesome this pastry was.

2. Bacon wrapped bread - sorry i forgot the name but you know what i'm talking about when you see it. it's like a croissant with cream/mayo dressing on top then wrapped with bacon. so good!

3. Mini croissants - i had the maple flavored one for dine in, matcha and chocolate croissants for takeout. i loved the maple croissants because the texture was at its best when I ate it. after storing the box in varying heat (blame the commute and travel), the matcha and chocolate croissants were soft already when we ate it. best store them in aircon room to preserve it's freshness and texture 128076🏻

Those are my favorites for now. I also tried the pineapple danish, ham and egg bread and they were good as well.

This Yamato branch stays right beside Mitsuyado and UCC Clockwork, because they're under the same management. Yamato supplies UCC cakes that's why their cake ref had a lot of familiar cakes! 128514

I am coming back! 128170🏻

Pardon the ugly pic, was so hungry and remembered to take a picture after a few bites!

Nori Sushi Php80.00
- My fave, its like a cali maki sandwich; filled with cucumber, mango & mahu. Nori covers the bread making it look like a big roll of sushi thus the name - nori sushi.
