Beef Hofan.

The food tastes okay but the beef is tough. I had a better beef hofan experience in one of the restaurants in Ongpin.

The restaurant is clean but the service is not that good.

I like that they asked for a valid id when I paid with my card. So, I'm giving them 3 stars instead of 2 stars.

Christmas Lunch with Motherside fambamm! My tito ask us why we choose this place and my sister answer right away because it's my ate favorite which she is referring to me 9995🏻 Haha The place was good and comfy. the staffs were accomodating and pleasant but the food is average. We enjoyed our lunch and small talks.

This place was superb! I am more of a South girl, so exploring places in the North was kinda hard but thanks to looloo! We were able to locate this place right away. For the menu, we had:
Chicken corn soup
- Tibdits of chicken with eggs and tasty corn pieces rolled into one! Definitely a meal starter you wouldn't want to miss.

Yang chow fried rice
- We made sure we won't miss their house specialty, which of course is obvious where the restaurant got its name. I loved every bit of it! 128076🏼

Roasted pork asado
- Thin slices of pork with a sweet and salty kind of sauce, just the way Chinese chefs do it. I definitely missed Hong Kong the moment I chowed on this one.

Sweet and sour lapu-lapu
- For a complete course, of course a fish dish needs to be there. It wasn't too heavy, so I think I almost ate everything on the plate lol. This was my all-time favorite (need I say more?)

Sizzling beef tenderloin
- Just the usual beef pieces with a kick of tangy sauce on the side! I would have ordered beer but it was too early then and my mum wouldn't have approved of it. Haha!

Lemon chicken
- The Asian way, because Orange chicken is too common. The lemon sauce was just a perfect match for the tender pieces of chicken.

For the drink, I had watermelon shake to beat the noon heat and I didn't regret ordering it because it was just as refreshing as I expected! Fresh and mouthwatering on the inside 127817128166

Overall, the food was amazeballs. The only thing that hindered me from putting 5 stars was the service. It was kinda slow, and the waitress who served us was kinda not attentive because she missed out twice on the drinks my mom and her friend were ordering. Nevertheless, I'd still go back to this place, maybe try another branch somewhere central or south-ish 🙂128077🏼

Celebrated my sister's birthday here. The food is ok, nothing to be super amazed with.

We ordered sweet and sour lapulapu - 128077128077128077128077
Fried chicken - 128077128077
Almond jelly - 128077128077128077
Nido soup with quail egg - 128077128077128077
Fried rice - 128077128077128077
Mixed seafood with brocolli - 128077128077128077

As you can see, the fried chicken got the lowest points cause its sooooo dry. It has no moisture, the taste was bland and the only saving grace for that dish was the sauce. The lapulapu though was good something to comeback for but for the other dishes? Hmmmm maybe ill think about it.

I don't rate this low but I think they need to improve the quality of dishes they serve out to customers. Just sayin 128513

The fam was supposed to eat at Relish but mom had to pay her credit card bill and she didn't want us to go home too late so we ate here instead. I've tried this place only once and as far as I remember, the food was average. You can imagine how bummed I was about the change of venue. 128514 When we entered we were greeted by stacks of utensils next to the door to the kitchen. We were given the table next to this area, but I asked for another one because I didn't want to sit next to all that crap. Thankfully, we were transferred somewhere nicer.

We ordered yang chow fried rice, wanton noodles, hakaw, chicken feet (for dad), white (hainanese) chicken, beef broccoli, sizzling king dao spareribs and scallops w/ asparagus. The hakaw was the best dish in my opinion. I loved how sharp the flavor of the shrimp was. Another thing I enjoyed was the scallops and asparagus dish. Awesome flavors, although the way the asparagus was cooked was inconsistent. Some shoots were perfectly crisp while others were undercooked. The beef broccoli was also good. Meat was tender and the broccoli cooked to perfection. The spareribs were ok. Glorified tocino. 128514 The chicken and the wanton noodles were the biggest disappointments for me. Both lacked flavor and I wouldn't order them again. The yang chow rice was also underwhelming.

Service is decent and prices are cheap, but overall average at best.

After a day of swimming, we decided to eat dinner in Yangchow. We ordered a set of fried chicken, pork chops, siomai, fish fillet with red sauce (i don't know what its called), and of course the yang chow rice. All meals were delicious . They have a separate sauce for each. We were a group of 10, and to our surprise the bill was only around 1800. It was really worth it. The place was nice too. Food is 9, service is 10, affordability is 10, ambiance is 10.

We only had:
Almond w lychee 4/5

Hot prawn salad 3.5/5
Not that fab, presentation was just bleh

Kuchay dumpling 4/5 (but I think they gave me hakaw instead)

Service 1/5
veryyyyy slow service
Took them 5mins for the chopsticks, 20mins for the order, 10mins for the service tea, 8mins for the bill & receipt.
And when we came in there were already used plates in the table beside us, when we finished eating, it's still there. 128584

Ambiance 3.5/5

Value for money 4/5

I don't know if I will go back.

This restaurant has always been our Chinese go-to, but it has gradually been getting worse. Our last visit became the final straw.

We ordered take-out, and the woman who got our ordered asked if we minded being charged extra for the container our food. Thinking that it would probably just be around 5 pesos each, we said yes. When the receipt arrived, however, the container charge reached up to 80 pesos, which meant that it was 20 pesos per container. I was really shocked because it didn't seem right at all to charge such a high amount just for take-out container. Ridiculous.

Plus, the food was decent, although the servings are small. Bill reached 850 just for the four orders.

Never eating here again.

Sadly, Yang Chow is not of those Chinese restaurants that you would like to comeback. The food is overpriced considering the serving size and service was slow 128534

Im back to looloo!! And so excited to write again.

Place: Well lighted and spacious. Big table with lazy susan. Attendants are attentive to your requests.

Food: Big servings enough for sharings. Flavors blend well together.

Value for money: 128077 Too full for 200/pax. With take out.

Total stars for the experience. 11088110881108811088

Not friendly to senior citizens and the disabled! Requested for a rectangular table near the entrance for my mom so that the walk is shorter and more convenient but insisted on giving us the round one. So wrong!
Never eating here again.

Extremely rude manager. We were a company of 10 with kids. We requested for a table with couch to better manage the toddlers. But the manager yelled at his staff in front of us in Tagalog, "hindi sila diyan! dun mo paupuin o!". Needless to say, we walked out and never set foot on this restaurant again.

About the same price range as Luk Yuen or North Park, the food is fairly ok.

The place, though, is far from cozy. From the second you walk in, you are inundated with heavy Regine Velasquez-esque Chinese ballad music; the kind where you know, even if you don't speak the language, that someone is getting their heart broken. That's the only kind of music they play, and a bit too loudly, too. And yet you can hear the noise of the blender every time someone orders a shake, from any where in the place.

How do you know when you've spaced your tables too close together? When your server can't get in between tables to put your order down so he has to serve the dishes right over your goddamn shoulder. Malala pa kesa sa calenderia. So forget about having a private conversation with your companion. Chances are, your neighbors will be in on it, too. My companion and I had to sit through the angry litany from the table on one side and the upcoming divisoria trip details from the couple on the other side. (Spoiler: They need pillow cases!)

We hastily finished our dinner and ran to Pancake House next door for some friendly silence.

We went here for my mom's birthday a week ago. The last time we were here was for my mom's birthday last year pa and it was okay naman so we decided to go back.

Unfortunately, the "experience" was not good na. The food was okay naman but their servings were smaller na. Since my Dad's not an adventurous eater, we ordered the same foods as last year and added a few dimsums that I wanted to eat.

I was disappointed when I saw how small their dimsums are. I was expecting something similar from Causeway pa naman since same din yung price. The taste was so-so.

My brother wanted to order pa sana since bitin nga kinain namin but the staff was nowhere to be found. Lahat busy-busyhan even if 4 tables lang ang occupied sa buong restaurant. Parang lahat umiiwas sa trabaho.

The only person near our table was a woman wearing a black blazer and headset (?). Nakasimangot siya the whole time she was standing near our table and yung tayo niya parang nakatambay lang sa kanto habang nakikipagkwentuhan sa mga kaibigang nag-iinuman. As in mukha siyang bored na bored na sa buhay niya. We hesitated to call her attention pa baka kasi hindi siya staff doon but she's wearing this headset or whatever you call it na parang ginagamit ng PSG. Haha!

Anyway, we asked this person kung kanino kami pwede umorder and she rudely asked us, "Bakit?". (Well, duh, oorder kami kasi gutom pa kami.) But since we were hungry pa, we let it slide and told her our order na lang- shark's fin. She left and when she came back, pasigaw niyang sinabi "20 minutes pa yung order niyo!" 20 minutes para sa tatlong pirasong shark's fin? Utang na loob ha!

We decided not to order na and leave na lang pero nagpantig na ang tenga ng nanay ko. Since that person left already, she called a waitress to ask who that person was and whaddayaknow, she's the supervisor pala! Oh, and her name is Ems.

My mom talked to her to tell her that it's not nice, especially for a supervisor, to treat their customers like that. And do you know what Ems did? She stared at us until we left. So nakipagtitigan din si Mommy. Haha! Magpapatalo ba ang nanay ko? Of course not. :))))

Kawawa naman yung owner/s ng restaurant kung ganon ang namamahala sa business nila. Paano sila kikita kung ayaw na silang balikan ng customers? I checked the reviews online and lahat halos negative ang feedback and marami ng reklamo sa manager, supervisor, and staff. Kung nabasa ko lang ng mas maaga 'e di sana hindi na kami pumunta doon.

I'll give 1 star lang sana pero okay naman yung lasa ng food. Haha! :))

I am on a pre-cleansing so I ordered hakaw and vegetable siomai, and tried one pc. of their fish siomai as well.. All were good. What i didn't like is their poor customer service. We had to ask 5x for a glass of water and one of the waitresses said that they are still washing the glasses. But the place isn't full and we can see juices being served.

First time to try! I liked the tenderness of fried squid w/ salt and pepper. The sweet and sour fish fillet was okay. Yang Chow fried rice was a little dry for me. Hakaw was so so. Medyo kulang sa shrimp.

Serving size medyo bitin. I think good for two per dish only. And the place was a little untidy. Fast service though.

May go back but not my preferred Chinese fix. 9996

I was craving for crispy noodles and this was the only Chinese restaurant around centris. The noodles that we ordered was just ok. Nothing special.

The hakaw tasted bad. Like really bad. The shrimp didn't taste fresh.

After eating, I felt really sleepy and that's when I knew I had too much MSG. :(( I'm never eating at this place again.
