Grumbling tummies before doing the grocery is never a good idea. We had Yang Chow and dimsum for merienda/early dinner before doing our monthly grocery.

The Yang Chow Fried Rice is your typical flavorful Chinese fried Rice. We ordered Hakaw, Kuchay Dumpling and Shark's Fin Dimpling. The dimsum were all oily, as if smothered with sesame oil. The wrappers were thick and a bit chewy. It could have stayed in the steamer for a few more seconds or minutes. The flavors were pretty good especially the Hakaw. The Radish Cake took several follow ups, way past the estimated time they gave us, before it finally landed on our table. It was mushy and tasted great with both the Hoisin Sauce and Hot Sauce.

Food was generally ok but this place will not be my first choice for dimsum.

The food is good specially birthday noodles and fried pork intestine but i can taste too much MSG that's why i feel dizzy after eating. Service is fast bit pricey compare to other chinese restaurant. I will return here perhaps not that soon i hate that feeling of dizziness due to MSG.

Too much MSG and not enough flavor. Maybe a bad day for the chef. I remember food was good in their Eaton branch.

After our grocery run, we had dinner here. It was mom's birthday so we got the special birthday noodles. It was pretty ok. They didn't scrimp on the toppings. Noodles were cooked just right but the dish needed a little more flavor. Nothing toyomansi and chili couldn't fix.

We also had hakaw, siomai, chicken feet, kuchay dumplings and radish cake. I loved the Radish Cake! Fried, sticky, mushy goodness. Reminded me of tikoy but savory and less sticky. It was a bit oily though. I skipped the sweet brown sauce and dipped the Radish Cakes in toyomansi with chili.

I gave 4 stars for this visit because of the noodles and radish cake.

*it took forever for our bill to arrive

Service can be slow during peak hours but they serve good, Chinese food.

I especially love their Shanghai Fried Rice and their Dimsum platter. All paired with their brewed iced tea.

This used to be our regular dinner spot every first wednesday after grocery shopping. It's been months or maybe even over a year since our last visit.

Last night we gave it another shot.

The lechon macao rice was bitin. It was good though, crunchy but served with a semi thick sweet sauce. The rest of the food were just so so.

Service was terrible. They were moving in slow mo and i had to repeat instructions. Some servers were "tulala". They could smile a little more too 128516

We requested for lemon chicken with the lemon sauce on the side. Bawal daw kasi magagalit yung chefs. So-so food with awful service. So I guess the customer is always wrong here. No need to eat here unless you're absolutely dying of hunger.

Since Yang Chow is just walking distance from my office, we frequently have our lunch here. Serves its' purpose when you want a dose of MSG (hehehe) but definitely not when you are in a hurry. Serving time takes awhile but the food is good. Must try would be their Birthday Noodles, Taro Puff and Shanghai Fried Rice.

The usual Mid-day horrendous traffic and a growling tummy plus having to do my grocery errand brought me today to this place. It's conveniently located at the Shopwise supermarket so parking really isn't a problem. I was surprised with the number of diners. It was quite full. I came hungry and thirsty so I had the black gulaman with almond jelly drink to start with. Me likey! Not too sweet. I love myself some taro puffs, and I loved that too. Their version came with some hoisin sauce I think. It was good even without the sauce. I ordered the seafood with beancurd in a clay pot. Not bad either! I guess I was expecting it to be kinda like North Park-ish in quality and taste, but I actually liked this one better. Prices are good too. 200 for the entree, 70 for the taro puff. I wouldn't mind coming back to this place the next time I do my grocery shopping jn this area.

When I can endure the long and polluted walk I have to make from Eastwood to Shopwise Libis, I go here for Friday lunches with colleagues including Christelle B.

I always choose to get their Beef Wanton Noodle Soup with its warm and flavorful broth (it has that prominent star anise taste) and really tender beef. Their noodles is quite good too and aldente. The wanton dumplings are perfect especially when paired with their chili paste, calamansi and soy sauce. Yummeh!

I have been here lots of times and also had a number of their other dishes, taste is good but quite too little serving (should be for group order but can only serve one)

Oh and the service is terrible, very snobbish servers who doesn't want to look at you and try to avoid your eyes and if they can't get away with it, they will say yes but never bring it on your table (for requests such as water refill, extra calamansi or plates) but of course they are quick in giving you the bill. Plus! You can never sit on the booth table unless you are a party of more than 2 no matter how hard you insist.

I love their noodles, so I am giving them 4 stars and will come back and endure the bad service for this.

I usually eat here after going to the supermarket (what a way to end buying food. by consuming even more food).

Typical Chinese dimsum place. No standout dishes but service is excellent (suki na kasi)
