Puka Beach is beautiful as all other parts of Boracay Island. My sister had a good frisbee play with a local. It is very relaxing even by just seating or lying in the sand or the provided seats. What I do not like about it is that the vendors tend to over price the goods that they sell. How about 300 plus for a buko juice or fruit shake. But vendors aside i Love Puka Beach. 10084

Nice and quiet beach. Not much crowd. Waters on the rougher side. Sun beds are available. Beer is expensive and will justify my 3 star rating for this place. As any beach in Boracay, it was extremely clean. Worth a one time visit if the beer price won't go down.

The area is not congested. Puka beach doesn't have green algae also unlike Boracay beach 128513.. The view is super nice and calming.. 128522128077🏻

PUKA BEACH in Malay, Aklan, Boracay is such a hidden Paradise. It is one of the beaches in Philippines that has Crystal clear water and Pearly white sand. I could stare at this for the whole day. Very fascinating! A perfect way to spend Summer Vacation with loved ones, families and friends. What's actually good inhere is that, it's not too crowded unlike in the usual front beaches in Station 1, 2 and 3. 9786️ It's a one tricycle ride away from Station 2. @loolooapp

Different from the commercialized stations 1-3, Puka beach has almost no establishments (only 1 that sells drinks and a few souvenir shops) and no coconut trees. Great for relaxing and just enjoying the beach and the sea in a quiet way. The water is clean and crystal. 10084

This is one of the beautiful places you will go to when you avail an island hopping in Boracay.
We were the only group when we went there. So we decided to stay for an hour. Private beach, eh?! It was a relaxing experience. We roam around, took a plunge on the beach, did photo ops, and laid on the sand for sunbathing.
Also, there was an icecream vendor!!!
This is a perfect place for couples who wanted to have private romantic time together and for solo travellers who just wanted an alone time.
Maybe you'll get lucky like us to own this paradise even for an hour. 128077

Boracay island hopping won't be complete without a visit to Puka Beach 128522128077🏻 I love the clear water & waves.

If only they sell banana-q, ice buko or taho here, this beach would have been more perfect 128540128156

So before I forgot I was here in Boracay to attend a wedding and not just food trip. So here in Pukka Beach is where the beautiful wedding ceremony was held. I was surprise that Pukka Beach was accessible via a 10-15 minute ride on a van. All along I thought Pukka Beach was on a separate island that is accessible via boat because it was always part of the island hopping when in Boracay. Pukka beach on this visit is almost the same as I recall it from my first visit. The place still got that PUKKA sticks still standing high. :)

So back to the wedding. The ceremony was held on this very beautiful beach. It was like a scene on every girls dream a beach wedding. The cute pinkish set up blends well for a beach wedding. I love how simple the wedding was and beach wedding definitely should only have a few guest for it to be more intimate. As the ceremony goes the sun slowly set giving the bright orangish color to the sky. Pukka beach is a perfect place to have your wedding ceremony in boracay. Less crowd and just few foreign tourist who were also amazed on the beautiful wedding ceremony.

Just wanna add that I was also surprise that Pukka Beach real name was Yapak Beach. Pukka was just because of the many pukka shell found on the beach. Thanks to looloo another new information. :)

A part of the Island Hopping Trip and also my favorite part in any trip is the Lunch Time. We had a marvelous lunch at one of the loveliest beaches in Boracay, the Puka Beach. Food served was good and fresh. It is surprisinly affordable and perfect for a feast. Imagine, great view + great view? What a great 12:00nn it is.

Been a while since I visited and it looked different cause it has benches and beds where you can relax. They also have a row of stores where you can buy snacks and drinks.

Dramatic setting in Yapak Beach also knows as Puka beach.

Yapak beach is known as an alternative beach in Boracay. It is more popular to be called as Puka beach. It was called Puka beach because of the puka shells that is found on the sands. Puka shells were naturally occuring bead-like objects which is to be found in Hawaii. Puka is a hawaiian word for "Hole". (thanks google) 128516128516

Facts about Puka Beach
128077🏼popular for the locals/tourists as the Nude Beach. (a long time ago, a lot of foreigners get naked on this beach 128517)
128077🏼less crowded
128077🏼if you want to be alone or have a "ME" time, this is a perfect place.
128077🏼clear waters
128077🏼perfect for sunset because it will be between you, the beach and the sky. Appreciate!
128077🏼you can play beach volley.
128077🏼if you get hungry there's a store where you can have your lunch or dinner. But beware, they are not affordable. Buko Shake is Php200.00 (OMG!)
128077🏼most importantly, you can reach this beach by tricyle (Php40.00), its a lot cheaper that island hopping. (Php1500.00)

So have you visited Puka beach?

Much has been said about Boracay but the beaches in this 24/7 island are still among the best in our country. Pictured here is the clear waters of Puka Beach. The best alternative to White and Long Beach of Boracay.

Went here on our second day in Boracay for beach bumming. The beach is located at the northern end of the island and is totally different from the busy paths of white beach path that's filled with people and stops like restaurants, stalls, etc. Puka beach is more of a laid-back beach compared to the main stations. Travel time would take you about 20-30 minutes depending on your origin. But we got there about 15-20 minutes from Station 2 and the place wasn't crowded yet since we went there around 8:30am. We pay 200 bucks for the 6 of us via Tricycle (that I think was too costy and read that it'd be just 150 or 180). No entrance fees required to get in.

There you have the white sands like the ones in Station 1 (although not that powdery and firm) and what more when you land your feet on the shore. Shells or puka shells scattered all over the beach vary in size, shape, and color that are ideal for making accessories and many more. It might be harmful to the feet 'cause some of them were pointed or at least, rough. You could find more of these shells at the souvenir shops near the entrance of the beach. You could also see different colours or hues in the water depicting its depth and cleanliness.

There were also some restaurants in the area and the network signal was surprisingly good. Would love to go back once more to experience this beautiful paradise soon.
