The Salted Caramel Waffle of Yardstick Coffee was truly delightful. We've tried it when we had an eat up at Your Local and we do a cross order at Yardstick for dessert.

Back to this spacious and hip cafe just beside Your Local last Friday. So right after our hearty dinner, coffee is the next thing we had in mind. No hassle!

I had mocha (P180) as this item is available in their bigger cup. My friend got her Chai Latte (P160) and The BF got Hot Chocolate (P160). We shared the Brownie Cheesecake (P130)

Verdict: My cup of Mocha, is good though nothing spectacular. It has a chocolate taste but with a distinct taste of coffee with a kick. The brownie cheesecake is ok, nothing really special. Well, this coffee place is pricey. What's good it that it is not crowded and convenient since we came from its neighbor resto.

I had their coffee while I was eating at adjacent Your Local (they actually have a big ass sliding door that allows people to move between these two restos) a few days ago. This is just a review of their coffee.

I ordered their Iced Americano. At P140, the glass' size was not so big. The coffee was decent, though nothing memorable, just a well balanced Arabica like coffee that's ever so slightly watered down in taste.

I didn't understand whether this was part of that 3rd wave coffee or not because the barista was not that good in explaining things, so I'm assuming that this is a well designed casual coffee shop. But the interiors were nicely done. Brightly lit with the big windows, bleach colored tables, chairs and benches, and lots of coffee machines on hand both for display and for selling.

I contemplated eating here at first but my first 3 dishes asked about were all out of stock, so I ended up next door in Your Local instead. Their staff needs to improve. I wasn't that encouraged in speaking to her both in her knowledge of their food, and in their coffee. Even their Blends were unavailable. They deserve a 3 at best. For service alone, they deserved a 2. Only thing that got them to 3 was their interior design.

Extra special Mandatory coffee on Sunday morning. We're back on this place decorated by stark simplicity. Seeing all the espresso machines, coffee cups and long wooden tables and round chairs are just a great view for coffee lover like me. This place has another level of showing how serious they are with their coffee. Barista workshops are offered here that's why most furnitures are noticeably movable for modification or scenery change in case of events.

Been here before and I can even recall how l love taste of the eggs in raclette. And their coffee too! Me and my bf happens to order a big breakfast today.

I had B'fast of Champions (P390) it has bacon or sausage (either of the two, i had sausage10084️), mushrooms, pickled cucumber, grilled tomatoes, ciabatta bread and 2 sunny side up eggs- heavy meal! But manage to finish it all. Well all the veggies in it are good it goes well with every thing. Pang Champion talaga 128522 for my coffee,

I tried their Black Magic (P150, small cup), it is an Amerikano coffee + Chocolate, bitter sweet tasting and perfect! Something new and good to try. Small yet satisfying.

He had, Barista's Breakfast (P260) it has bacon, mushrooms, 2 sunny side ups and creamed spinach dips and strips of toated ciabatta- a heavy meal too, i tasted the dip and its along qith the bread. Love it! And he had hot chocolate (P140)

Food: second time to experience and has never failed my tastebud. All is good and of quality. Coffee is noteworthy here, yes they are serious with their coffee.. Not the watery type128522 happy about it

Ambiance: its simple yet modern. Very spacious and natural lighting from their big windows. A nice place to chillax

Price: its Pricey. But you'll never complain since food served is of quality. But compared with other breakfast places this pricing is quite high.

FINALLY had the chance to visit Yardstick! Wednesday holiday led hubby and I to Your Local since there was no traffic and parking was easy. Coffee after dinner is always a good idea and I didn't get some dessert from Your Local because I was thinking of getting Salted Caramel Waffle from Yardstick as my dessert.

The place was huge, brightly lit and very spacious! The menu board was so big and they didn't really have a formal counter. I liked the unorganized idea and the minimal interiors plus the unfinished look of the entire area.

I got a small cup of Mocha and my waffle of choice but unfortunately they didn't have any waffles anymore that time 128557 WHY?!?

I watched the barista make my cup of joe. He was a little chatty which was good coz I had the chance to ask him stuff. Single origin beans sourced from Ethiopia, roasted light to medium, I caught a citrusy and fragrant smell of the coffee shot before he did his Mocha magic. Chocolate was sourced from South Africa and he said that they use "red chocolate" only.

My warm cup of Mocha on a gloomy Wednesday night was just perfect. Loved that the dark chocolate went well with the bitter coffee. The chocolate had some sweetness but not too much. Good proportion of milk. Wished I got a larger cup coz the husband liked it too when he took a sip 128563

Will definitely be back to try their flat white and hunt them waffles!!!!

It was his last day at work, and decided to revisit this coffee shop that we've grown to love. Ambience always the best, and appreciated the coffee now more than ever. No wifi, but really we do love conversations better than our phone, right? :P

A go to place if you want to get good coffee after eating at Your Local. This is just beside Your Local and actually have a doorway going straight to Yardstick. Ambiance here is total opposite of Your Local. The place is well lit and you can actually work here or just sit and unwind whole day. The place is relaxing and not your typical coffee shop since there is no long counter and the set up is pretty cool. Coffee is good. Nothing fancy. Just plain good coffee. Nice. 128523

Finally I have tried this joint raved about by a lot of |ooloo fanatics! My boyfriend and I went here for coffee and dessert after our hearty meal next door.

My boyfriend had his regular caffeine fix, I'm sure he'll write about it on |ooloo too soon, so I won't write about his drink. Hehehe 128569

I had the Black Magic. I'm no coffee drinker, but I really enjoyed this drink. It was basically coffee and chocolate. The flavors went really well together! I really liked it. Thanks to my barista for recommending it.

For desserts, Josh G and I shared an order of their waffles. They were ginormous! We were full from dinner so to devour this was of great difficulty. But we still finished this dish to the last crumb because it was SO MUCH GOODNESS ON A PLATE! The waffles, crispy on the outside and perfectly done. The salted caramel ice cream, divine and the caramel sauce married them all together into this mind numbingly awesome dessert! It was the perfect way to cap of the date night! Looking forward to my next visit! 128571

Thank God for the chill ambiance. Had a rough morning last Thursday and decided to go to this place to de-stress. Good thing when I came to this place, it wasn't crowded. I also love seeing their coffee machines around their store as well as their cute yet simple designed menu.

Since the tables by the window were already taken, I just took one of the long tables.

Ordered their Iced Mocha and it was really good. It had the perfect taste and could be one of my favorite mocha drinks so far.

I think I found my unwinding place to draw and have "me-time" after going here for the 1st time. I'll definitely try one of their meals there when I get the chance.

And oh., if you have the interest to buy their chocolates, be sure to check the expiry date first before buyinh. It slipped my mind and one of the chocolates I chose and given to me by the staff there was already expired last April.

Overall, I loved the place and a good area to chill and unwind and of course definitely coming back here. :)

While the place is really nice for me, I couldn't quite place it but I was not comfortable, too alta for me? Haha, I think that even behind the attempt to make the place look playful the atmosphere is too serious too tight bec of people who are seriously doing their meetings there in longsleeves and slacks lol.

I was also not happy with the lady at the counter she was snotty, it's as if we're wasting her time as we figure out what to order.

So anyway, I ordered for their Ribs with mash potato, I really am not a fan of meat with sweet sauces so there, but it was really tender and I'm sure you guys will like it, their creamcheese brownie is yummy on the bright side 128523 they gave us complimentary fruitbomb juice that is too sweet for me haha, I guess not really my best spot.

The bf picked me up from the airport early on a Sunday morning... Traffic piled up due to the Nike Run that day, so instead of heading home, he wanted to grab breakfast... My choice, his treat... Magic words!128525

My mind went to coffee shops in Makati and of course, Yardstick Coffee! I was super excited to try it since everyone has been raving about it for the longest time...

Apparently, it opens at 8am on a Sunday morning. We were early so we walked around for a bit... We went back at 8am, prompt and smiley, eager for breakfast... One of the baristas had to ask permission from a girl (head barista?) to let us in... Why is that necessary, it was 8am already!

Anyway, we went inside and had our choice of seating... The place had a laid back vibe that I loved... I like the cement floor that made everything else pop... Wooden tables and chairs with brightly colored accents. I loved the red coffee machine topped with different colored cups...

I went for their lemon curd waffles, while he chose the barista's breakfast... We both got their iced mocha... The coffee was great! Not your typical mocha because of the dark chocolate taste... The Barista's breakfast included bacon, eggs, creamed spinach, and toast, best for big appetites! Well-executed and a good balance between food groups, this was a delicious pick! The spinach was rich and creamy, went well with the classic & salty bacon and egg combo... The lemon curd waffles were picture perfect, with edible flowers for accent... Loved the tangy curd with their buttermilk waffles-- I would totally order this again!128525

Save for the bitchy barista, the staff were friendly and genial... Another great first time at a restaurant and it would definitely not be the last!128515

I was SO excited to go to this place. It's been recommended to me 1 million times and it makes me sad I still haven't visited. So on our way to Yardstick, I was already imagining how the place would look like.

I was imagining a small, but bright place (I don't know why). But interestingly when I went in, the place was actually spacious. Their chairs here don't have back support though. I guess they're more stools than chairs.

Lots of wood, and white and light blue. I saw signages about their coffee classes too. That sounds cool. Marc I didn't you take one? 128558

Got their flat white, pork belly, aaaaaaand the waffle. I have to be honest, I went here because of the waffle. 128517

The flat white wasn't memorable. I'm no coffee connoisseur so I can't talk about how "bright" it is or describe its body. All I know is, I've had better flat whites. 128513

The pork belly was forgettable. I remember it being tough but not too bad mainly because I was just waiting for the Salted Caramel Buttermilk Waffle (Php 220).

The waffle came and wow, that thing is pretty big. The buttermilk waffles were light and crispy, didn't have that sour taste and went really well with the vanilla ice cream. It also had chopped almonds on top that's then drizzled with salted caramel. Yum.

looloo reviewers were right about their waffles! 128077

This is also a good spot for coffee meetings I think. The tables are far apart from each other and it's pretty difficult to eavesdrop on other people's conversations -- not that I do that. 128514

I don't have waffle maker so this is a nice place to have one, topped with 2 big scoops of ice cream 128541 am not a fan of the waffles per se though. I think it is too airy and not quite tasty. But with ice cream, one can pretty much cover anything 128514

A great place to hangout, so somehow it was worth the visit.
