Yabu? Nope. It is Yasu!

It's a Japanese restaurant which I think new in the market. I do not know how many branches they have, but it is pretty good in size for a not so famous restaurant.

We had their set which is good for two—even three if you're not that hungry.

Everything's good for only 300!128522

I liked their chicken karaage, it's flavorful and I find the servings generous.

Also, their fish fillet (if I am right) is pretty good.

But what I loved is their red iced tea-not in picture tho!

And, I'm not a fan of maki but it tasted okay.

Everything comes with three sauces + oh so generous serving of cabbage as side dish-I loved the dressing!

The place is well-ventilated and tables are set apart.

The downside maybe is they don't have wi-fi, but if you're into catching up with someone, it will not be an issue for you have all the time to talk without the facebook notifications to compromise! *winks*

Overall, it's safe to say I will come back to try their ramen and their katsudon! + afforable I must say!

After hoarding a lot dried mangoes in the grocery shop, we both(my workmate) felt the need to eat lunch.

I saw this before and was curious if they serve good food, plus it was affordable. 128077

We ordered Chicken wings terikayi with japanese rice and it was't that bad. The wings were okay but it was saved by the grace of the sweet teriyaki sauce 128523 Kung hindi dahil sa sows, hindi siya masarap. Hehe

Fast service But I found the store a bit small. This can be improved. 128527

It's really just super sulit to eat here. Less than 200 bucks and you're stuffed! 128513

It's sad though that they don't have enough branches. 128532 but I guess that maintains quality. 128521

And I'm back in the hopes of winning that iPhone 6. Hahahaha!

Onto the review, is it me, or this gyudon is just beef all over? Read that right my friends. That's a heaping amount of beef (for me at least). Which makes this resto, one of the bestest that I'll probably review over and over again. 128517 not only that there's a heaping amount of beef on top of the rice, they didn't cut down on the taste. It taste fairly well for less than 200 bucks. And it's soft too, unlike other gyudon I've had where I ended up spitting almost half of what was served.

I love Yasu to the bones! I hope they don't change. 9786️ and if they do, we all hope that it's to be more awesome!

One last thing, they could also use some roasted sesame dressing which would be more awesome! Yeah.... I love gulping on those dressing. 128055

The food is nice but nothing stands out. I like the curry though. The serving is just exact to fill you. Hope to try other stuff soon :)

Ordered the Tonkatsu Set. Though it's not like the tonkatsu we eat in other Japanese restos, I can still say it's okay and its value for money as well. Very affordable. Miso soup tastes good as well unlike other restos. Would definitely come back to try their tempura and ramen. :)

For the budget conscious dinner who's not too keen on spending 500 bucks, This is the place to go. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen (149) and 5pcs tempura (189) for dine in. I'm happy with the Ramen but sad I didn't like the tempura and didn't finished it all, you can still taste the oil I guess the oil that they use is old na 128532.

Been hearing good feedback about Yasu from my friends from lower batches. I need to get something from our dean so yeah decided to give Yasu a try.

They have katsu but I didn't want to leave Yasu with disappointed face because I'll compare it with Yabu's. 128540

Gyudon
10084️ Good choice, I told myself. I like it. Ugh! I know I'll crave for it. The beef is tender. Not bubblegum like. Lol!

Service is good despite it's lunchtime that time.

Will go back for sure! 128076

Tried this place at Robinson's Place Manila. The area is pretty much a hole in the wall and almost has a fastfood-like ambiance. The food is good though. Got their Chicken Katsu Set. Although the chicken was delicious, juicy and well-seasoned, the breading lacked and wasn't that crunchy. The Japanese rice was great, and the miso soup was pretty good too. The price is affordable. Service was just ok.

While everybody's going gaga over Yabu, over here at Robinson's Place Manila, we have Yasu! It's tonkatsu for the budget-conscious diner who's not too keen on shelling out 400 bucks for breaded pork chop.

I HATE MY PHONE FOR BEING LOW ON BATTERY. I wasn't able to take a picture of my food, lol.. Hahaha

Well anyway, Yasu is a ramen place and today being a little cold, I decided to hit this place and was not disappointed.

I ordered the miso ramen, costs about 149 pesos if I remember correctly), good for 1 person, but it was great for it's price, I was shocked really, but I'll give it 4/5 since nakulangan ako, sorry, RAMEN LOVER HERE! :)))

With great food, this place have a great waiter, I ordered a bottomless Red Iced tea, and whenever my drink is almost out, he just comes in and just refill it, no need to call his attention, 128077128077128076 and very polite. I gave him a 40 pesos tip for that, cheap? Well that's more than 10 percent! LOL.. Hahaha..

The place is clean too, so plus point for that..

Overall:
Fine, I'll give it a 5/5. For being affordable, deliscious, clean, and polite and fast staff 1108811088110881108811088

Will definitely go back :)

Place is like a cubbyhole but a lot of people already, place needs more light as well as mirrors to make the place look less cramped

Service is excellent considering its almost fastfood category like atmosphere

Food is at par with the price
