I recently found out about Yellow Cab Pizza’s new menu, I think they launched it last August or at the beginning of this month. Since then, I’ve been having a Roasted Garlic and Shrimp pizza withdrawal! *insert loud sobbing here* It was one of the saddest menu adjustments I’ve ever had to go through…. Hahaha drama and kidding aside, it was such a loss but they’ve also added a couple of new items to the menu that I now appreciate and want to share with you in case you haven’t tried them.

Another huge change they decided to make was on the serving sizes for the wings. Instead of actual chicken wings, they only have what they call “lollies and canes” (either 6 or 15 pieces) which still look like chicken wings but sliced into even smaller parts and “hustlers” (100 or 250 gram portions) which are sort of like chicken tenders or chicken poppers I think. Those portions might sound weird but the upside comes in six ways - new flavors! Six new flavors to be exact. I haven’t tried all of them but I’ve tried three so far. The Hot Chix variant is basically what they used to call their hot wings. It tastes the same other than being a bit more spicy ever since the menu was revamped. In the photos I attached are the Salt & Pepper and Garlic Parmesan flavors. Both of these are my new favorites! I always ask Yellow Cab to make sure that the chicken is well done (yes, you can say that!) and that always results in extra crispy and less oily chicken. The Garlic Parmesan lollies and canes are great because it has the right amount of garlic and cheese and it isn’t too salty at all. The Salt & Pepper ones sort of remind me of the fried chicken that my mom makes - it tastes simple but great!

It’s easy to try different flavors of chicken at a time because you can get six pieces of each flavor for only 165 pesos! Not bad if you want to throw a random fried chicken party for your friends (or for yourself)! 127831

We probably dine here at least once a month since this is so close to the parents' place. For this meal, we wanted the Four Seasons Pizza. The Roasted Garlic Shrimp wasn't available and we were told that we could double up on one of the 3 other flavors.

We casually mentioned that we were sad that the Corona Chicken Salsa was removed from the menu. According to the server, It was a slow moving item but it can be prepared upon your request so of course we changed our order.

Eating the Corona Chicken Salsa is like having an Army Navy Chicken Taco on a pizza crust with cheese. We enjoyed our pizza but at the end of the meal we decided to get a smaller portion next time since nakakasawa. We requested for a well done toasted crust but the pizza was hard to slice. Some areas were crunchy but some were makunat. We also asked them to slice the pizza into squares for easier handling.

The 3 of us shared a half order of the Charlie Chan Chicken Pasta with less sauce as usual to decrease the spice level for my mom. The portion is enough for one person who will have just the pasta.

I think we'll continue dining here every now and then. We'll rotate our pizza flavors but the Charlie Chan Chicken Pasta will always be on the table.
