In preparation for the opening of our 1st H&M Branch in Mindanao, we were sent to Davao last July. Most of us stayed for a month, with the luxury of having weekend offs, we have 2 days of relaxation in between.

On our first weekend, a friend residing in Davao brought us to the best places; from parks, house of Pres. Duterte, Ampatuan palace and restaurants.

First stop, Yellow Fin Seafood and Restaurant, one of Pres. Duterte's favorite restaurant. We ordered the president's favorite mongo, fried tail of tuna, beef sinigang, shrimp viand (I forgot what it is), and Durian shake.

The mongo is my personal favorite because of its consistency, its a bit thicker, the amplaya leaves is bitter but tolerable and most of all, its meatless, they put tinapa meat instead.

The durian shake is 75% fruit and 25% ice, 100% delicious. I recommend this to people who want to taste durian but can't tolerate its smell. I finished the whole glass but news is afterwards I felt dizzy, my friend told me nakakahighblood daw ang durian and when I burp naaamoy ko pa ang durian. The beef sinigang is also a must try and the fried tail of tuna. P250 per head is cheap for a delicious lunch.

Service is quite slow maybe because they are still cooking our orders, but the place has a great ambiance and ventilation.

When in Davao this place is a must try!

Their sizzling platter is exotic and tasty! I never enjoyed mixed seafood meal as much as I did here. Wide variety of menu to choose from. Must try as I heard is the Crispy Salmon Belly. Too bad it was not available when we had our lunch. Definitely a great dining experience!

Best grilled food in town! Has a party ambience yet brightly lit, fresh seafood and food was served within a reasonable period, unlike neighboring establishments which usually take longer than usual. A must on the Baler to-do list!

Let's keep this short: best grilled tuna ever!

Oh and order the sizzling squid and pandit canton too! Overall, this is a gem of a restaurant and is worth calling one of the must-visits in Davao
