I’ve been dying to go to Yexel’s Toy Museum for the longest time and my long-time dream finally came true. (Yay for me!)
After a quick lunch at Project Pie, Maverick Christopher P and I took the long route to Sampaguita St. (Thank you Waze for not realizing that we could’ve gone through the Friendship Route, hassle.)

Nonetheless we got there safe and sound. The first thing the popped in my head was “Where do we park?” you see, the venue itself is located within a residential area and there was no allotted parking space. We just left my car at the next corner near the building.

Once we got in, it was kind of dark and stuffy. Turns out we were the only customers there! We were accompanied by one of their staff who turned on the lights, sounds and air-conditioning as we went through the exhibits. (Thank you kuya!)

I’ve taken the liberty to rank my top 3 favorite attractions:

Star Wars – To be honest, I was a little disappointed with the display. I was expecting the whole 9 yards! The hall was short and it mostly featured action figures and Stormie helmets. I was kind of hoping for a life-sized Stormie or Vader. But it’s still on the top of my list because I’m just biased.

Ironman – Now this was impressive! First off, Yexel has the entire collection of those floating mini-ironmen, and look at all the life-sized suits! It’s amazing really. For those huge Ironman fans out there (Hello Ninong Rai!), I kid you not when I say you’d actually want to live here.

Transformers – I’ve been watching the cartoon since I was a kid and I have been a huge fan of the movie franchise because I’m so in love with Shia LaBeouf, so seeing half of Optimus Prime was just… amazing! I would’ve loved to take a photo on the ramp but my acrophobia got the best of me.

I’d give the overall experience a 7 out of 10. The place could use more work and ventillation. I personally think P300 is kind of pricey for this short of an exhibit. Props to Yexel Sebastian tho, for sharing his toy collection with everyone!

Yexel's Toy Museum owned by Yexel Sebastian, the brother of the late Jam Sebastian of Jamich. P300 per head to enter this museum located inside a village in Las Pinas.

This museum gained popularity especially among kids and toy collectors and fans, i'm not a huge fan of toys and animated characters that's why I wasn't really excited to go here but I went here with my pamangkins and they really enjoyed it!

Yexel must really have worked hard to be able to collect all this toys. It's just placed inside his house which he tells he started collecting since he was young. Aside from that he started sculpting bigger toys and characters from te Chipmunks, Gundam, Street Fighter and even toy head collection of the Marvel Characters.

The toys are realsitic as it can get. If you'll look at it closely you'll know his toys are high quality and well maintained and talagang naaalagaan. I even took a picture of the massive replica of the Optimus Prime which they assembled themselves.

Overall, for the toy lovers out there I recommend tou go here and be a kid for a day! You'll definitely have a hang of it!

I have been dying to go to this place for the longest time and when MC finally decided to take me, I was so happy! 128513

I felt like a kid again but it was kinda disappointing how their Star Wars hall was limited to a few pieces.

I don't think too many people go here anymore coz when we got there it was bare! And the guy who gave us the tour had to switch on the ACs as we went through the place.

What's amazing is their ironman suit collection and of course Optimus Prime.

In my opinion P300 is too much for this small of an "attraction" 128542

Perfect for the kids at heart, Yexel's Toy Museum showcases various mini figs and life size models of a variety of cartoons, animes and comic-turned-shows. There are cabinets and cabinets full of toys and mini figs of the characters from Disney and Pixar movies, as well as Nickelodeon and Cartoon Networks Shows. Not to mention the life size figures of Lupin from Lupin III, Naruto, The Simpsons, Super Mario, Justice League, Transformers, Ironman and my favorite Baymax. There is a room dedicated to Star Wars and Ironman, and Optimus Prime head (not sure if he's life size, but looks like it).

My only problem with the ventilation system. Yexel's Toy Museum is located inside a private village and these various toys are fitted in a regular-looking house (you can still make out possibly the outline of old rooms). It's quite hot inside. And snug.

But kids like myself ehem would enjoy seeing these toys. I'm actually excited to visit the one in Manila Ocean Park.

Btw, I got in at half the price, thanks to a promo found on Metrodeal. 128522 definitely a good deal. The original price, Php 300, would still make me think twice. The place itself is quite hard to find, even the village, but I think you'll like it.
