Tried Yobob in their new BF branch but couldn't find it here in looloo! Heads up!9786128522

We ordered the 1/2 kilo cebu lechon, kare-kareng lechon and sinigang na salmon belly. Super loved the lechon; I didn't need the sarsa because the meat alone was flavorful. The pork skin was extra crispy too!9786️ The kare-kare, on the other hand, was on the sweeter side but super yummy as well if you prefer something that doesn't need too much bagoong. The salmon belly was good but since I don't like ginger, I couldn't appreciate the soup as much.

Went here for dinner after studying with my friend. The place is not that spacious (downstairs). Anyways, we ordered their 1/4 kilo lechon and binagoongan lechon. Their lechon was crispy but a bit on the salty side. Their binagoongan according to my friend was delicious it has the combination of sweetness and saltiness. We were satisfied in the end. #loolooiPhone6Giveaway

I tried the following food items:

Cebu Lechon - hands down 10/10. The meat was tasty and didnt need a "sawsawan". I tried dipping it in vinegar and it gave the lechon a different taste which is also great!

Diniguan - one of the best diniguan ive ever tasted. It doesnt have the "lansa" and the sauce is so creamy (i guess they added some coconut milk).

Pritchon - this i didnt like. Too oily for me. But my other three friends who also tasted the pritchon liked it.

Lumpiang Sariwa - this is my favorite from all the food that I tasted. The lumpia itself has a great texture that combines both soft and crunchy. The sauce is superb! Its creamy and a bit sweet which i liked a lot.

Ill definitely recommend and go back to Yobob.

Liked the lechon. It was super tasty and not that fatty and oily. We wanted something more sinful so we also ordered the Pritson - deep fried lechon. Loved it!!! 128055128293

Me thinks lechon is the single greatest Pinoy invention (or is it?) so when Yobob opened on Morato we were very ecstatic. We've dined at Yobob a couple of times and have had takeouts at least thrice which is perfect because I usually wait until I've tried enough food on their menu before writing a review.

After having their food five times, the best word I can come up with to describe their food and service is 'mediocre.'

Our first time was a letdown being served stale Lechon covered in grease. It had more flavor than your usual lechon but quite frankly I like Ping Ping's more (the skin stays crispy and the meat moist). Their Pinakbet and Chicharon Bulaklak were a tad better but nothing to write home about. Our next visit was more pleasant since we went there at lunch which meant the lechon hadn't been sitting on the counter for an entire day.

The servers weren't rude but they had the 'I'll serve you food but I don't give a shit about your feelings' attitude typical of restaurants nowadays. I drove by once and asked if I could have some Sinigang broth (which I've also tried) with my Lechon order, and it didn't take them longer than a second to say they didn't have soup.

Nothing stands out really. The lack of passion shows in both the food they serve and the way they relate to diners - reviews range from taking too long in getting the bill to fastfood-like service. So what's stopping me from walking past Yobob the next time I'm looking for a place to have dinner? Yeah, you guessed it. Nothing.

When I first found out of a "Cebu Lechon" place in Morato, super excited ako! As in I'd go to Cebu (for events) pero Cebu Lechon talaga ang target ko.

I told my friend na i-treat na lang niya kami for his birthday dito. Na-excite naman ako papunta. Dumating ang order at natikman, WALANG KWENTA! Eto ba Cebu Lechon???!!

The lechon cuts we got were a bit hard to chew so we didn't enjoy it much. The skin was crispy though so that was the treat.

The place is a bit small but tidy nonetheless, including the restroom.

Good find! 128077

We ordered Lechon Cebu, Sinigang na Salmon Belly, Pork Sisig, and Pakbet. They're all good - especially, of course, the Lechon which was very tasty and very.... Cebu! 128523 Hehehe. We didn't even get to take photos of everything so I took a shot of the restaurant's facade, instead. 128522

Although parking is always a problem along Tomas Morato, we, surprisingly, were able to immediately get a space - so, I guess, we were really meant to try out this place. Fortunately, we were not disappointed. We were also seated immediately (at the 2nd floor) even if we were a group of 9.

It also pays to be early - we arrived before 12:30pm so we we were able to beat the lunch crowd. Otherwise, we would have had a difficult time looking for a parking space and a place inside the restaurant that could seat all of us comfortably.

They also have ample serving sizes at affordable prices.

Try it out! 128522

Before you read my review, look at the photo.

Are you drooling yet?

My aunt is going back to the US tomorrow and for her last lunch in the Philippines, she wanted Cebu Lechon.

It was our first time here and we were pretty happy with everything we ordered. Lechon skin was crispy and the meat was oh so tasty. I loved loved loved their pinakbet and tinola!

Naka 1.5 rice ako! NO JUDGING!!!

I'll be back! I saw that a lot of tables ordered the sisig so I'm curious to know how that tastes like.

What I didn't like about the place was how small it was. We were a party of 7 and it was quite uncomfortable. Also, I wish they served puso instead of white rice in cups. (At ang mahal ng kanin ha! 30 pesos per cup!)

I just really want to rave about their chicharon bulaklak. Which I didn't even get a chance to take a photo of 'cause I practically wiped the plate clean. 128517 It was already 'ulam' itself. The crunch was just... rowrr! :D

The lechon was great too.. But if it really wanted to go all the way with the Cebu theme, they would have served "puso" instead of scooped rice.

The restaurant was a bit small, and the decor was quite off the theme since it looked more like a cafe/restobar.

Will be coming back for more chicharon bulaklak!

You are visiting Yobob Lechon de Cebu because of the lechon of course as this is their specialty. This was the first thing we ordered just to find out afterwards that our waiter forgot to order it. What kind of restaurant is this. This was our second time and still not so doing well with the service. Food is good but please have waiters with presence of mind. The place is not full but waiters is absent minded.

Food is great. Pakbet was different with a lot of sauce, binagoongang lechon is good, lechon is very Cebuano, one of few places you'll have native tinola. Thought that lechon will be the first food to be served because it's readily available, but comes out to be the last food served in our table. Service needs to be improved. There should be a waiter to assist guests who come so they know who will be seated first, hindi yung unahan and guest standing beside your table waiting for you to stand up and finish your meal like a McDo or Jollibee style. Please look after your stocks, it's just lunchtime and you don't have iced tea already. After a very good meal ay ang napakatagal na bill. We even asked the one waiting on our table to seat down so that they'll not block the entrance but it's annoying that our change is not yet around, and table is not yet cleaned, comes the lechon order of the next guest in our table. And please, issue a receipt even the guest is not asking if you do not have computerised bill at hindi tape receipt ng adding machine ang ibibigay nyo.
