I accompanied my mom to do some errands and after which we had late lunch at Yoshinoya. I ordered Chicken Katsudon (149Php), I don't know if it's just me but the egg has a weird taste. Maybe it's how they cook it or probably the ingredients. Who knows

Then my mom got Beef Stew (125Php) which for her was mostly fat instead of beef.

I can't exactly remember the last time I ate here, but the bowls were a lot bigger back then.

It was my cousin who treated me here. We were both 'hangry', actually she was more than I was so we ate here since it was the very first restaurant she saw when we entered the mall from the parking lot.

She asked me if I like it here but I couldnt give her any answer because I havent tried Yoshinoya. What I remember was my bf and I attempted to eat here once or twice but ended up leaving the store from some reasons. Maybe the menu choice? Not sure.

Anyway, since it was her treat and she wanted a ramen, we decided to stick here. Sorry, cannot recall the price anymore since I didnt bother to look. I just knew I wanted to try their Tempura.

Kani Salad was good. I love crabsticks so Kani Salad always works for me.

The ramen which I forgot the name was okay. The broth was not as good as the one youll find from the ramen houses, which is totally understandable because of the price.

My cousin and I shared over with the chicken teriyaki and beef but we were not able to finish it. She didnt like the taste while I was already full with the maki and tempura.

The tempura was okay too but if I were to choose between here and tokyo, I would go to Tokyo Tokyo. Hehe.

The california maki tasted good. Its worth the price. We actually ordered another set.

Overall 3/5 because of the ambiance. I didn't have the vibe to be back or to crave for more.

Alright, it's been a while from the last time I wrote a review so I'll be reviewing what I ate for dinner tonight. 128522

Just thought of dropping by here since I'm craving for soup to eat to match the rainy evening. 97481277699889

I've ordered their Beef Ramen for about 139 pesos, which is pretty affordable.

The taste? It was good at first when it was really hot, but after that, the flavor wears out and you get that sort of "umay" taste. I'm also quite disappointed with their chili pepper as it was not spicy at all. The beef was good, though I really hate eating the fat part of the meat. Ew. 128586

The verdict? It was just so-so. Comme ci, comme ca. Nothing remarkable to it, but not bad for filling up my craving for the night. 9786

Tried their Promo GO Share:
Includes 2 cup of rice, 1 Jumbo A (with Beef Gyudon and 4pcs Tempura), 1 Jumbo C (with Chicken breast Teriyaki, Veggies, and Beef Gyudon) , 4 glasses of Red Iced Tea.

Overall perfect for a group of four, but not for my two friends who's fond of eating...128517
We were supposed to order Ala carte but since makulit ang friend, we managed to save some amount and only paid 160+ pesos/head.

But for me personally that only loves eating Gyudon and Tempura, i'd love to have solo Jumbo A just for me..128521 Also, minus 1 star because i did taste the chicken and veggies but didn't agree with my discerning palate! 9786

food comes with affordable prices tempura is good but the beef gyuon is the best and there are a lot japanese food they offer that taste different from the other famous chain offering the same menu! Legit Japanese food! though service sometimes is not good but expect that during peak hours of dining.I appreciate the beautiful interiors of Yoshinoya and i'm sure we'll be coming back here..

Jokes aside, nice place the chill and talk after window shopping. My favorite dish is the tempura/misono combo 128077128077128077

The first time I ate here, it was a horrible experience for my taste buds - but I still opted to give it a second chance because of their famous beef bowl.

Beef bowl was okay. It just didn't taste anything special. But I was so happy with their Gyoza that I gave it 4 stars! Although the sauce was just plain soy sauce (I think), I really did enjoy it! 128536

I just had the saddest California maki I've ever tasted. It could win an Oscar for making you sad over food. It was horrible, it tasted like it's been there for a whole week. I've done everything but the taste is still in my mouth 128555128552128567 Definitely not a place for maki.

After I've tasted the maki I automatically lowered my expectations on the next food that will arrive. However the ebi tempura bento was okay. The shrimp tasted fresh. There was some sort of salad that was bright purple. I got scared tasting it. Their bento has a slice of tiramisu. It's not something special. I could make that at home and still it would taste better. (Plus it didn't succeed on erasing the horrible taste of maki. I can still taste it while making this review at home. I'm not exaggerating)

Apple tea was lacking something that I couldn't point out.

I gave it three stars because the crew are very friendly. I think they saw my face when I took a bite of the maki and immediately offered water.

P.S I'm serious about the California maki's taste. 128557128078128565 And i think their rice bowls tasted better. Should have ordered those. Well, next time.

Service was fast though. Place was spacious.

It wasn't worth this time. I was still starving after what I've eaten.

We planned to eat at Yabu because my boyfriend here is craving for their cabbages (he's just weird haha) and we also need to help the victims of #YolandaPh of course. Knowing that 41 customers are lined up ahead of us and our tummies were already grumbling we decided to eat elsewhere.

Yoshinoya is new to North Edsa right? I first saw this food chain in China and then my cousin told me that we had those here in the Phil. I heard they were good and so we tried this for the first time.

My boyfriend and I wants to eat in different restos every time we plan to date. We love to eat. We ordered 2 of their platters. Beef with tempura and the other one is beef with (*) okay i forgot. We also had their salad and beef ramen.

Place was big. People were fast, our food were delivered before we get to seat. Food was good and budget friendly i guess. I just dont like their red tea because it was too sweet and the ramen doesnt taste like real ramen. But overall it was a great food trip! 128055
