Place is really cozy and ambience was great! A great place to hang with friends and family. Service was ok. A bit slow the first time we went there but the second time we went, it was a bit better. Food was ok. What i love??
The crispy pansit that they served in the buffet... hope they can serve this on their regular menu.
The asado buns were ok.
House blend iced tea..a must try!!!
Noodle soup... loved it!
Overall.. we enjoyed our stay!

The place was cute and cozy. The variety of food was ok. The fried rice , steamed siopao and fried tofu was good. The steamed dimsum was better than the fried ones.
Service was a bit bad, it took them too long to serve our drinks and steamed dumplings. We had to keep following up our orders. Hopefully they would improve their service and better food quality.

I have to admit I am a person who don't order congee in restaurants, but I took chances on ordering a congee in Yuan since it is their speciality ... When we tried it.... It was simply delightful and yummy. Plus of course very prolific on the idea itself that you can choose your own toppings. That made me consider congee as one of my favorite food already. The resto's tag name speaks for itself "the best congee in town" . I even miss thier food everytime it rains 128512 its perfect also for this kind of weather. This is definetly be a regular place to go to in our hometown in San Juan City.

I saw this new resto in san juan... And it caught my eye because its very cozy, unique and it feels like home. When i invited my friends to come over, the manager/owner was very accommodating. He even gave us free desserts. So far my favorite was:
The noodle soup with that szechuan flavor.
The soy tapa tips and the fried sharksfin platter
Their prices were reasonable and food tastes good. We will definitely be back. :) i havent tried the buffet but will probably try it next week.

The only problem we experienced was the service was a little bit slow because they were too many people coming in and they were understaffed. Maybe since they are still on their soft opening.. Still a lot of areas to be improved but so far... Whats important is we enjoyed the experience.

they have a new promo. P249 dimsum all you can with 1 round of drinks. fb did not indicate that they charge you extra for service. a shocking 12% despite of lousy service. lagot ka pag sakto pera mo. hehehe

no plate. you have to ask for it.

mango juice was full of sugar. more like sugar juice color yellow orange.

beef siomai, pork siomai, Japanese siomai, Sharks fin dumpling- ultimate failure. mas masarap pa yung street siomai na tag P2.50 each.
texture is like ma-ling. pork and beef is too fine much like processed meat. size shrunk too!

*they used the same pork filling for all fried and steamed pork dimsum dishes. WTF?!

fried rice- regular and nothing special.

noodles- parang instant pancit canton.

fried dumpling- wrapper is too thick.

breaded tofu- ok Lang.

spring roll- just like fried dumplings in a different wrapper.

bola bola siopao- first time to eat siopao with ginger.

asado siopao- fail. weird taste.

their kitchen is in chaos, undermanned, and very slow.

total waste of my money. to put it bluntly, their dimsum looks and tasted like it came off the shelf. don't waste your time here.

no food picture. too shi** to take a photo of.

that picture is what it looked like 30min later. and the place is not even full.

Thumbs down for this restaurant. I feel infuriated after eating in this restaurant. It seems nobody knows how to properly cook and serve food, especially dim-sum in this restaurant. Whether steamed or fried, the dim-sum is so dry.

Best noodle soup in town! Top your congee and noodle soup with your favorite ingredients like water spinach, meatballs, brisket or seafood balls. Yuan has all the options you would love to put on your congee or noodle soup. You can pick from a wide variety of noodles (vegan and not) and soup flavors. Laksa soup and vegan fried rice coming soon!!! Great ambience, very quiet and clean.

I love their congee! Great serving and satisfies my craving for that old chinese congee taste that my lola always cooks. Their congee can serve up to 2 persons. Definitely worth my money. A bang for your buck! Their noodle soup is also a BIG WOW! Great place to hang out with family and friends. Very quiet neighborhood and very affordable pricing. With less than 300pesos, you can be sure that you leave the place with a full stomach!

Congee - P89 up
Noodle soup - P99 up
Rice toppings - P149 up

definitely not the best congee in town. taste is so-so, too thick for my palette, and tastes bland. it's a different kind tho since you add what toppings you want. price varies depending on the topping you prefer. P149

Chinese herbed pancakes P129- too expensive and nothing special

pork siomai P99- fail

crispy pork belly P159- too thin and too hard to eat

mini asado buns P99- excellent

radish cake P89- excellent

parking is a hassle and you have to climb a flight of stairs to get to the resto. not senior and pwd friendly.
